When I say James is awesome that man got my car together and for a reasonable price.I brought my car in for one thing and ended up needed more work then I expected I was a little sad but he reassured me he would take care of everything and that he did and he even got me 2 front tires for a great price!Hands down he is the best I will refer all my family friends to James any time!

I am a repeat customer of Desert Heat Auto because they do quality repair work for a fair price. I have an older Subaru which they keep in tip top condition. This shop is honest and the owner has the heart of a teacher, as they explain everything. There are no surprises and they have earned my trust. I highly recommend James and his team at Desert Heat Auto.

Came back almost a year later because my car was giving me problems for the same issue as last year. And I asked if the alternator they replaced last year had warranty. James took the time to assure me that he was going to take me in the same day that i contacted him even though it was almost closing time. I left my car there overnight with a feeling that my car was going to be in the best hands possible so I wasn t upset leaving it there overnight. And by next morning, I went back to my car working and running smoothly and I was once again grateful for their dedication and knowledge and I will definitely keep coming back. I still have a few things I ve got to get fixed on this metal contraption lol. Desert Heat Auto has been more than reliable every single time I go. They will never undermined you or make you feel dumb but are dedicated to providing outstanding customer support and that is a guarantee. Anyone I know having car issues, I refer them to Desert Heat Auto with no doubts at all. and on top of the service. The alternator was under warranty and I paid $0. Thank goodness because this economy has t been the best. Especially with last minute emergency repairs. I wasn t financially prepared for this. Thank you James and everyone in the shop!

This shop is above the rest in service. Customer service is unmatched. Reliable and definitely affordable. I came here to get my AC checked. As a young woman I like to know that I can trust the mechanic cause sometimes they add unnecessary things on. They were honest, up front even described how my AC system works which was really helpful for me, and showed me the exact part that was wrong with it. I will be returning, thank you great place to go.Unfortunately I had to bring my car back for another issue. They had taken there time to make sure they checked everything that could be possibly wrong with it. Now my car is back and running perfect, I would bring my car back for anything. Honest, efficient people

Had an excellent experience getting the AC in my car fixed here. They were open and honest with the work and what needed to be done. Oh and they did it for half the price Pepboys quoted me. Wow!! What a wonderful experience I had. James and Paul the owners are so warm and welcoming. They took time to help me with my car care needs. Explained things to me about my car and provided me with a detailed estimate of my rear cover bumper. I appreciate their integrity, customer service skills, and honesty. They had my car in the shop for 7 months. Very little communication. I had to text and call in constantly to get any info on the status of my vehicle. They are nice people but I would not recommend this shop.

We ll I don t usually do bad reviews but I had my wife take our Toyota which had no oil leaks at all, I had the oil change done there and now I have a bad oil leak. Will just stick to doing it myself just hard because of work schedule. Nice people bad experience for being a first time customer.

Review from 11/13/2021- Ok this is my first time ever posting a (negative) review on Google, because I honestly do not understand why this repair shop is rated so high, or I might probably just be an exception. Free inspection (if it takes less than an hour to find out the issue, which is explicitly stated on their website)?- Definitely a lie. I was still charged 65 dollars for a check engine light inspection that took less than an hour. 65 is really not a lot compared to other shops, but I don't like it when what they advertised is different from the reality. 10% off for new customers?- Another big lie. I had to pay 300+ bucks for spark plugs replacement and inspection without any discount for my first repair there. The price is definitely not competitive, neither is/considering the quality of their service. I am a college student working part-time and this was honestly a lot for me. What's worse is that I literally paid this much just to find out that the repair led to more and even bigger issues- my car started to have some symptoms it never had before literally right after they had my spark plugs replaced. It started to shake like driving over rumble stripes and the check engine light would even flash (pre-repair it was just on steadily, not as serious as flashing) once I accelerate on the highway. I am not saying this is the case, but it did make me suspect they might have sabotaged my car, replaced a good part with a bad part, or did something else like that to make sure I come back. After the initial inspection, they told me my car was generally pretty healthy and had no other issues except for the bad spark plugs, but when I brought my car in literally just 5 days later for another inspection after noticing the new symptoms, they told me one of my ignition coils failed. One mechanic told me it was the coil for cylinder 4 but the other told me it was for cylinder 3.... And both times I went there different staff members would say the same thing- we don't have the parts here yet but we have ordered them and they are on the way here now- even before I approved the repairs, which made me feel like I couldn't say no since the parts were already on the way. Simply put, again, I am not saying this is actually the case, but they made me feel they do not want you to leave the shop without spending money. They were going to charge me around 200 bucks for the ignition coil replacement (at first they said it would cost around 220 but the second time they somehow changed and said 180+), to be honest the price was lower than I expected and I wouldn't have minded paying to have my ignition coil replaced at this price, but I refused since I *felt like* they were trying to trick me out of money plus when I tried to have them explain to me why my car would have more issues after the replacement their response didn't really make sense. If you are a young lady like me who doesn't look knowledgeable about cars, I recommend bringing someone who knows cars (or at least appears to) with you to the store or simply just going to an authorized dealership for service/repair to avoid being fooled. Again, this is just my personal experience with this shop and I do believe others' great experiences with them. I am an international female college student who speaks English with an accent (this might make them think I am bad at English), has a lack of knowledge about cars, feels rich since obviously I can afford to study in the US, so I tend to be the target if the mechanics do decide they want to fool someone to make more money. They may have really provided satisfactory service to other customers, but for me personally I think they were dishonest and cared more about how to make more money from you rather than the quality of their service.Then I called James to request a refund, he refused and kept blaming me for having my car further repaired at another repair shop instead of coming back to them so they can repair using warranty. Then he *intentionally* (maybe) put me on a hold that was so long that I had to hang up. Service: Vehicle Inspection

So far nice and friendly, everyone is upbeat and positive. I should receive my car today since I took it in a little too late. James takes time with you even doing his busy schedule and the coworkers and mechanics seem to have fun during their job. Heck even one of the workers gave me a ride home since my car wouldn't be available. I will give further details as soon as my vehicle is completed.

Great service, came into town for business and my fuel pump went out. James (owner) helped to find the best price possible in a timely manner for the part as it was not in stock in the area. This all happened after 5pm when his shop was technically closed. The staff was great Chris and Jay-cup were very helpful and had a great sense of humor. Fair prices and amazingly honest service. They never try to sell me on other services like most other places do. They check what you say is the problem then fix that but if its not broken they don't search for something to fix.Will always refer everyone I know to this auto shop!

When I came to them, they said that repair works will take 24 hours, after 24 hours they said that them need another 24 hours. In summary it took 3 days for change A/C compressor. And at first day they got me price like $800, after when they finished they asked $1000, and even didn t say me that price can change!And they was so slow when I came, I was waiting 10 minutes for check in!So terrible and not fair service! Don t work with them!

I've had Desert Heat Auto work on 3 of my vehicles. Each time I have been more than satisfied with the work James and his crew have done on my vehicle. Each time they have been fast with their service a d their price has been more than affordable. I recommend this place to anybody that needs some work done on their vehicle.

I can't say enough good things about Desert Heat Auto. They are an amazing team, and I highly recommend them. They are busy for a reason!
