They are the best shop. They will find out exactly what is going on and fix it the right way for less then any other place you ll find and do this repeatedly if you give them the chance. If I ve ever met a business that deserves a 5 star review it is this one. Start bringing you re vehicle here.

Robert was awesome he worked quickly to make sure i could get my heater core replaced so it wasnt leaking coolant inside the cab. On a recommendation from my friend I had this shop replace the engine in my car. The owner is very knowledgeable about engine replacements and they did a great job. He was able to find me a very low mileage replacement for my engine and they had in replace in 2 days. It wasn't cheap, but it was done right and professionally. I've used this shop for additional work as well because I've come to trust them and the value I get

I have brought numerous vehicles to this shop. Diego has always been completely honest with me about what priorities I should consider regarding the condition of my vehicles. It has been very convenient to get my vehicles into the shop and the work completed very quickly and satisfactorily! Desert Auto Works is great. We have been taking our cars here for at least 15 years and have always had great service. They are great at diagnosing problems. And sometimes when something needs to be redone or tweaked they always stand behind their work and fix it. Even though we moved 15 miles away we still take our cars to them.

Diego took over for Ken when Ken decided to go to medical school. Ken trained him to run an honest shop, and he does. Diego doesn't recommend anything you don't need. He charges a fair price, and he does good work. I will continue to bring our Jeep to him, and will probably add our Honda now that all factory warranties have expired.

We have been bringing our vehicles here for many years. The owner and all the staff are great and can be TRUSTED! They do wonderful work at a fair price and treat you like family. And they stand behind their work with a great warranty. We won't trust our cars to anyone else!

Diego and his guys are amazing. They are so good at diagnosing what is wrong and getting it fixed without just throwing parts at it. They stand behind their work and don t charge you for things that don t need to be done. They are my go to shop for all my car needs that I can t or don t have time to fix myself. Diego always takes his time to explane what needs to be done. Very happy with them.

Happy satisfied customer for 10+ years. Honest shop tells it like it is gets the work done in a timely manner. I was recommended by a family member's friend who told me of this location. My car was driving as if in neutral and I didn't understand why. Meanwhile my car was with them I used my bfs vehicle to work when suddenly there was a mysterious issue and unable to drive it, long story short his dealership noticed rats had chewed up underneath his car. We immediately let Desert Auto Works know the possibility of a rat being the source of my problem for my car as well. At first they were planning on replacing my O2 sensor but before they ordered it they checked it out first and noticed two chew marks. They ended up repairing it instead of replacing and I very much appreciated the honesty and taking the right action for my situation. I will plan on coming here again for any future car repairs etc. Very nice people too, Diego reached out the following day to make sure my vehicle was running smoothly and has since. Thanks again!

A wonderful experience. They were highly recommended to me by my brother-in-law who has used them for years. They were friendly, honest, helpful and affordable. Diego went out of his way to make sure my care was repaired and returned quickly. I will gladly return to them for any other repairs I may need.

Diego was so kind, patient and understanding. Definitely knows his stuff! Took time to answer all my questions and explain every procedure that needed to be done. He also advised me as to what was crucial and what could wait because I'm on a pretty strict budget. I highly recommend Desert Auto Works!

The owner gave me an absurd price for a tune up of my Mercedes. If he didn't want to work on my car, he should've said so. I guess I didn't read sign the lack of minority presence. But at least zGerman Autos did me justice.

Diego and Robert are master mechanics. They have great analytical skills and can fix your vehicle the first time. Most "mechanics" just change parts and then determine if the problem is resolved. Desert Auto Works is a trusted family favorite. My brother-in-law recommended them to my Dad, who recommended them to me. Ownership/management has changed from Ken to Diego and Sergio, and we continue to use them for years now. They are not my sole auto repair source, because I like to have several flavors of mechanic.Desert AutoWorks has a smart, small, business-like flavor. They are not the cheapest, but your car and your phone call do not get lost in a shuffle; they keep you generally well-informed. They are not bozos when it comes to diagnostics. Though they do sometimes make mistakes, they make a sincere effort to take personal responsibility for diagnostics. They don't do unnecessary, dishonest work. They do not pad their recommendations or seek to meet service billings goals like a Midas shop.
