I called for an oil change at 7:30 and was in by 8 am. Amazing service. Honest. I had a great experience from my initial phone call to driving away. I travel around the US and know how challenging it can be to find reliable shops- I'd definitely drive some distance to work with these guys again.Family and veteran owned.

Rick was super helpful. My Blue Behemoth needed some serious TLC and this was a great place to take her. They did the brakes, front suspension and fuel pump. It runs 67% better and stops 98% better. I'll definitely be going back there for more work on my BB.

My truck's brakes had been squeaking for a while now and so I was looking up mechanics to take my truck to. I came across the brake shop and was amazed by the awesome reviews. I contacted Joey at the brake shop and he was able to get me in the same day! Joey's customer service is top notch and he explained to me how long it would take and what they would check my brakes for. I came back in to the shop a couple hours later and Joey explained to me that my brakes were like new and that I didn't new new pads or rotors. Joey gave me some tips on what could be done about the squeaking. I was impressed by Joey and the brake shops amazing customer service and honesty. I have never been treated so amazing by any other mechanics before. The brake shop has my full trust and business.Service: Auto brake replacement

It was my first visit, my rear brakes were grinding and I called Andrew and explained everything to him, he told me exactly what was wrong and told me to bring my car in. I brought it in Friday after work and they fixed the problem and had me back on the road in an hour. I can't say enough about how great the service was and if I told you what they charged me you wouldn't believe me. Please check them out and you won't be disappointed.

Best mechanic shop around. I was looking around for an honest shop when I came across Carl and the guys at the brake shop. They are knowledgeable and honest. Would highly recommend to just anyone I come to meet in passing. There is not enough words to say how much I appreciate the staff at the Brake Shop. I had my brakes done with another company in the west valley earlier that day. Come to find out, that company did a terrible job and didn t tighten a bolt that essentially was missing by the time i got to the brake shop. Both my little kids in the car with me, was a terrifying experience. I called The Brake Shop which was just a couple miles away from my location. Rick was so kind and caring when I called. Upon arrival, the staff was waiting outside when I arrived. At this point, my caliper was sitting on my rim and nonfunctional. They not only fixed the issue, he ensured that the entire job the prior company did was done correctly so that my family and I were safe to drive. The service and the kindness shown to me was unprecedented. I am so grateful to have come to this shop and would highly recommend this team. Called around looking for quotes on my front brakes. Had everything from 800-1300 quoted for my heavy duty. Called Carl and he had me in and out the same day for half of what other shops wanted. Honest business is hard to find these days and I will be using the brake shop for all of my vehicle maintenance moving forward.

What up an amazing experience I had at The brake shop total car care. First time user of this Auto Care facility and I was genuinely happy with this experience. Can't say enough about Joey communication throughout the process and Carl know how and capabilities of getting the job done. The rep Carl was great to work with and my oil change was completed as promised. I was disappointed though that I didn't get a paper showing me the results of a multi point inspection. For a $55 oil change typically shops will say you've got this much life on your tires and brakes and you'll need this hose and shocks or whatever. I even asked about this when I dropped it off but i only got the receipt. I prefer taking my car to a place that does thisService: Oil change

Best place around!! Carl & Gene are the greatest...they really care about their customer's. They don't nickle and dime you or gouge the ole wallet...I trust them with my Kids ...and their cars...lol.Can't go wrong coming here !

Took my car to Midas fora quick oil change. They said I needed to replace my shocks, struts, brakes, and other maintenance. Took my car to brake shop since they quoted me a better price. Turns out they did not see any issues with any of those things Midas stated, so saved a bunch of money with that, and pointed out more pressing issues that were needed. Appreciate their honesty and service. You should give them a call to see what they can do for you if you go to any of those servicers similar to Midas.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Arrived at the location for brakes. Initially the interaction was great. Spoke with Joey and he was great and took my car home running very well. However a week after the trans goes out. Take it back because of the great reviews and because of Joeys outstanding customer service only to get it serviced with Terence Williams another auto technician who charged an amount that was easily beatable by other competitors. We explained we wanted all issues fixed. They mentioned the transmission was the only issue. So then I received the car working but the next day it stalled and was running really rough. The transmission is right by the timing chain which they claim was bad, the third interaction with them. In order to service the transmission they have to remove the timing chain. Yet at the second visit they didn't mention it. I feel like they literally break cars if it's anything other than a brake job. Terence was not professional when I called because we were told that we were under warranty yet he charged a diagnostic that was 119.75 which is more than most shops. He initially told us that amount was for the O2 sensor he also said was wrong yet they didn't change it out. They exclaimed that the timing isn't apart of the trans therefore it's not covered. However they could have explained the amount BEFORE charging for the diagnostic so we can make a determination if we wanted to continue with their business after the 2nd interaction we were hesitant and only went because they said anything coding is going to be covered under warranty which means the diagnostic. They lied. They aren trustworthy. Terence Williams is not trustworthy. Called Medina's Automotive and they quoted the same job for half the price. This shop is amazing. I literally drive all the way from the queen creek area to have them work on my vehicles. Carl at the front desk is awesome and all the guys here know their stuff. They won't try to charge you for stuff you don't need and they do quality work. They are very quick to correct any mistakes they make as long as you give them a chance too. They always complete repairs in a very reasonable amount time. Plus they have a very comfortable waiting room and clean restroom.

I was VERY impressed with the Brake Shop s honesty, help and professionalism!! I was traveling through the city with my kids and my van overheated. They got me in, were up front with the costs and didn t try to oversell anything! They even took the time to show me helpful tips while traveling!! I really cannot say enough good about them!! Honest. Fair. Service.I do a lot of my own mechanical work out of necessity and sometimes go to a shop when I have to.These folks (especially Carl at the front desk.) were able to give me accurate and fair details about the work I needed to have done.They didn't beat around the bush or give me any lines.10/10 for diagnostics and customer service.These guys will get to the bottom of your problem quickly without wasting any of your time.Best shop I've dealt with in a long time.Service: Steering & suspension repair

There's only 2 mechanic shop names I can trust to a professional job every time. This is one of them. Service is leagues above all else. Courteous, thorough, and they actually describe the work that they do so you know what's happening and never leave feeling cheated

Just moved back to the area from the midwest, so was definitely due for an oil change. I tried 3 places trying to find somewhere that wasn't booked up before I had to return to work the next day. Not sure if it was the desperation in my voice/face, or if they really are just amazing guys, but they squeezed me in even though they were pretty busy for the rest of the day. They were friendly, professional, and quick. They advised me that I need new wiper blades, but that they do not carry the style that is on my car. I did not get any impression of being given the runaround. Would definitely recommend The Brake Shop to anyone, and will for sure be a return customer.

I cannot explain how happy I am to have found these guys. I got back from my vacation on Sunday last weekend and didn't end up driving my car until Thursday. Well, while I was driving to work I noticed my brakes were making a grinding noise - something they hadn't been doing prior to my vacation. So I did a little research and these guys were highly recommended to me by a couple of people I knew in the area. Being that we just moved here last year, I was a little skeptical because it is SO hard to find a mechanic who is trustworthy and honest. I called The Brake Shop on Thursday afternoon and got Carl on the phone. He made it so easy for me as I explained what was going on. I told him I didn't get out of work until 5pm but that I should be there before 6. He told me should I run into any issues getting there before they close to just call him back because he'd stay so I could drop my car off. We got there about 5:50pm and he stayed with me to check me in and get the full detail of what was going on until almost 6:15pm. He had his guys look at my car the next day, and sure enough my front brakes were shot and I needed a new cabin air filter as well. He went through everything they found and explained in detail what needed to be done and gave me an extremely fair price for all of the work that needed to be done, so I said yes, and they had my car done around 2pm on Friday. I picked it up after work that day and I couldn't be happier with the results. My car is in tip top shape now and I won't take my car anywhere else for service. Carl and team - thank you so very much for taking good care of me...and my car!

I am compelled to let all know that "The Break Shop" in Mesa is hands down the best place I have ever brought my car in for repairs. Friendly, caring, clean and so much a cut above. They not only diagnosed my car problem but went out of their way to find the part needed as quickly as possible. Kept me informed along the way. As I waited for the diagnosis a number of people came in to pick up their cars. Surprisingly (not surprising any more to me!) each and every one of them seemed so happy and satisfied with the work they'd had done. I spoke with a couple of them and they both said they would not take their car anywhere else! This is not an experience I've had in the past taking my car in for repairs. The icing was that even though the part couldn't be obtained until the next day. Offered me a shuttle home so I didn't have to find someone to come fetch me. Family owned, respectful, wonderful service. Can't thank Rick and the rest of the guys that took such wonderful care of me!!

Talked with Rick this morning and made an appointment. Really knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. Getting the break job done today. Update: Super happy so far. Changing to five stars if I could change it to ten I would. They did the best break job I have ever had. My F350 has never stopped better. Definitely recommend and will be back. My new truck care shop. Thank you again Rick yo and Carl are awesome.

My fiance took her car into this shop based on reviews here and on Yelp. She was hearing squealing in her brakes and figured she needed new ones. Shop offers a fantastic service with a feature where they email you their diagnostics with pictures included. Informed her she didn't need new brakes at this time (they were just dry). Owner called us and discussed everything. We ended up getting a few other necessary services and will absolutely return here when she does need brakes. Or any vehicle service. Great Great Service and Experience

We use The Brake Shop for our fleet vehicles and have done so for a long time now. We went through a lot of shops before we found Rick and his TEAM!! Its been great ever since! They take car of our fleet like it's their own and always give us the best advise! Carl is great!! He is knowledgable, and always gives sound advise on what you need! I highly recommend The Brake Shop!! You can trust them to do what's right!!

I had a suddenly mushy brake peddle and my normal mechanic was out of town but told me over text to get it checked out because it could be the master cylinder and could be dangerous. The Brake Shop had good reviews so I contacted them and they fit my in ASAP. I told them the issue and they checked it and found the rear brakes just needed an adjustment. I was happy with the price and the fact that I went in thinking it would be an expensive repair and they were honest and did good work for a good price. They are a full service shop (not just brakes) so I will go back for other things when my normal mechanic isn't available. :)

You can t go wrong with the Brake Shop! I first started bringing my vehicles to Rick and Carl almost 16 years ago. I was a single woman with a classic mustang and they never tried to take advantage of me for pricing repairs. I have recommended the Brake Shop to several people over the years and I am confident in their repairs and pricing. Carl is super knowledgeable and can locate parts like no other.
