We worked with Slim over the phone to get our deal started and he paid great attention to us despite being an out of state buyer seeking a sought after entry level unit. It was our first RV/Travel trailer experience and Slim could not have handled the situation any better. He personally showed up on his day off to ensure delivery was smooth for my family and had us set up in a matter of hours. From the front desk, delivery/orientation staff, finance and Camping World store staff were excellent. Even though I m out of state I d make the drive back to pickup another unit if I was in the market to buy one due to the customer service we received.And of course with the unit, we ve been in it almost a week on our adventure and she s just as you d expect. AC blows cold in the South West heat, water heater is nice and hot when you need it. The space is ample and the build quality is solid. They setup us up with a sway control system that gives us confidence in crosswinds.All in all a perfect buying experience for our family.Thank you.

We stopped by as a first time visitor to look at trailers. We were only shown one brand while on our tour. We stated that we were only looking and we are at least 8-12 months away from purchasing. This was disclosed multiple times. As we were trying to leave the sales manager showed up on behalf of the sales person showing us around and we stated we are only looking. His response was he wanted to just say hi. Is this really what we are supposed to believe? Of course this was a method to again pressure us into moving forward with them. We again stated we are not purchasing and we are only looking and this is our first stop. We found nothing at camping world we wanted as we were not shown many options. I have received over 5 calls since and due to this aggressive sales approach while there looking and now over the phone, camping world has lost my business. If you are wanting a high pressure sales campaign, Camping world is your type of place. Not for me.

We were in the market for a small trailer and decided to come to Camping World in Mesa as we were in the area and they had one we were interested in. This was our first experience with Camping World and we were very impressed.When you walk in the door, you are immediately greeted and treated like a friend. Our sales guy, Elias showed us a few campers and we decided to purchase one. During the purchase, the general manager, Seth, came over and introduced himself to us. There ended up being a mixup on their end, but they decided to honor it in order to "make the customer happy". I cannot say enough about how that gesture made us customers for life, which is why we wanted to share it with others.Elias, Seth, David and all staff we came in contact with over the next few days made this such a wonderful and memorable experience for us and bent over backwards to make sure we were those happy customers. If you are in the Mesa area and are looking for a camper, we HIGHLY recommend checking these guys out. You will not be disappointed. We even walked away with a new friend in the process. Thank you guys for recognizing what true customer service is and making us feel at home.PS. If you decide to go, ask for Elias....he won't let you down

A rather bummer of an experience. We haven't been to CW for a while. Bummed that the one in Bellemont, AZ closed suddenly a few years back. We went there all the time & loved it. It seems as if they have changed things. Visited this one while we were in the valley. Wanted to purchase some new things for our fifth wheel. There was hardly anything on shelves to buy, just new RV's & furniture inside. We always took grandkids there & they loved browsing & we would buy things we needed as well as great clearance items. Not anymore...didn't hardly see but a few shelving units with mostly overpriced items. Maybe they sell everything online now & have changed their operating methods. So sad. Also, wanted to take a gander at some used fifth wheels. No longer allowed to go out to look. Although they had a kind salesman sit with us, nothing available to even look at. He has tried to find something, but nothing acceptable yet. Really wasn't interested in going through that, just wanted to look. It's a possibility we may have found something else we liked instead. We still have our CW membership, but in closing...we hope things change again & they start carrying the cool inventory items they used to sell in store.

Would not recommend nor return as a customer. Nick (sales) was great. Ryan (finance) after having to be called out twice not to charge us for a 7 year warranty that we didn t need nor want, he then overcharged me and improperly included tax on let s go camping package, which is a service, in the contract. I sadly did not catch it at the point of signing. When confronted and offered the opportunely to correct it as a possible mistake at our trailer pick up, he said that s how it s done and denied understanding how tax for service works. He is either a poor financier or dishonest, in my opinion. I alerted Nick to my displeasure at being (what I saw as) dishonestly being locked into a contract that cost me $415.98 (which over the life of the loan would have cost me nearly $5K), who I understood shared with GM. I ve not been contacted to try to make the situation right in my eyes so I m writing this review to warn others. My recommendation is not to finance through this location, and if you do, get out your calculator and go thru line by line so you aren t improperly overcharged. Additionally, I asked for copies of everything we signed at the time of signing, Ryan said oh this just stays here, it s not a big deal and did not comply when asked a second time for a copy. The third time I asked, after the confronting of above, the told me he no longer had copies at they had been sent out already . I dislike being lied to and brushed off. I recommend people do not sign anything with this person. Jack (walkthrough) was great.

Very courteous and helpful employees! Everyone was helpful and always smiling. Chris helped us find exactly what we were looking for and didn t try to upsell us anything. I will definitely be back in a couple of years when I decide to trade up.

We are extremely happy with the service department here. We have all heard nightmares about Camping World so we were iffy about having to take our rig here for a recall repair. We made an appointment with Erich and he was ready when we arrived. While we were there, we asked him to check on additional repairs needed so he made quick work of finding out why our floor needed repair. He submitted a warranty request to Keystone and got everything approved for repair. As expected, they needed to order parts so we left there with our rig and waited to hear back from him. He got back with us 2 weeks later and told us Keystone would cover 75% of the floor repair. They ordered all the parts needed and gave us a date to bring it back saying they would need it for 4 solid days. We were skeptical (to say the least) because the slide had to come out of the bedroom as well as the bed and the dresser so the floor could be repaired. We dropped it off on Monday, December 11th as requested. True to his word, Erich called us Thursday saying it was done. We went back Friday and picked up our rig. The work Calvin (our tech) did was amazing. I hope every time we need something done, it s as pleasant as this experience has been.

I bought a Cummins generator online for in store pickup back in July 2023. I get to the store and find out it s the last one and it s off the shelf from the showroom floor. No one was even going to tell me, I just found out myself and didn t want to make a fuss about it and I really needed a generator that size/day. Ever since I purchased it I ve had issues, finally got around to take it to Cummins to get warrantied and turns out they sold me a generator they ve had in store since 2022 that was made in end of 2021 and due to that I am past the manufacturer warranty. Now Cummins wants $400 for 2 hours of diagnostic testing when the generator was only $1200.I am frustrated at myself for accepting the one off the shelf but at the same time I am frustrated with Camping World that I was sold a what is new product that should still have a valid warranty when I purchase at full price. Now I got screwed by Cummins and Camping World for a generator that never worked properly since my first day of use.Bad business!!

If you want to buy a camper, I'm sure it's okay. But if you need parts of any kind they either don't have it or it's way overpriced. It's the perfect example why Amazon is consumer's 1st choice.

Arron, the salesperson, was good and knowledgeable and helped find what we were looking for. Then David Hill, the finance person, was awesome when my husband and I got the rv trailer and explained everything we needed for the rv in detail.

Stacy and Al worked with me at the Mesa, AZ office to find me the right travel trailer for me. We communicated via text messages, and they're responses were quick. They both were very caring and knowledgeable. I will continue to do business there.

Do not recommend after selling me a travel trailer in December for 32k they now want to offer me less than 11k for it. Do not recommend them. They are thieves and will steal and take advantage of you every step of the way.

My husband and I visited on 12/30, and Nick Libby showed us a trailer we really liked. We went to a few other places, but didn't find anything. On 12/31, we went back, and he showed us a few more. We liked one a lot, but couldn't make up our minds re that one and the one we saw the day before. After talking to him, we chose the one he just showed us. What was great is that he saved us some money by getting the exact same trailer, but one that had been sitting on the lot longer. We would have never known had he not told us, but he cared about us more than his commission. We are very happy with the model we chose, and can't wait to go camping in it. If, in the future, we ever want to trade up, we know where to go and who to see. Thank you, Nick. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

For the biggest dealer in the USA their part prices are very high . Must have 2 dozen recliners and not one of them are wallaways. Good idea having RVs now in the showroom but need more room . Don't need 12 of the same chairs taking up space where another RV could be displayed. Good idea having chairs and tables where a salesman can close a deal in a more informal area. Get rid of most of the offices and more RVs or parts .

We worked with Jim and David on the purchase of our new camper. Jim showed us a few different options in our price range and helped us narrow down the one that would work best for our needs. He was very knowledgeable and honest throughout the process. David from finance was quick and efficient, and was able to get us the lowest interest rate possible. Would definitely recommend this Camping World location!

I had several people there who were most helpful to me. Cashier 021721 went above and beyond in helping me find my online order for pickup. I telephoned first and she ran around to locate the order and then helped when I got to the store to get it unboxed so I could get it in my car. This person and the greeter when first entering the store were so nice and professional. Thanks again.

Zero stars is not possible, so they get one. I called to order a part, gave them the part number. I have never experienced any parts department less interested in selling a part. It took two of them to find the part i gave them the number of. They said I have to wait until Monday, to find out if they could order it's Friday. Camping World is a large corporate operation with underwhelming employees. This location is the worst I have experienced. The people I spoke with, must get paid by the hour, and don't understand that a successful store feeds their family.

Wanted to look at purchasing a newer fifth wheel but unfortunately all the employees were too busy to even greet me. I expected better from camping world. Definitely won t return to this store for even the smallest purchase.

Very poor Experience at this location (Avondale is better). My father and I went in to get a used pull trailer to not have to bare the high payment/ long year term as a new trailer would be. My fathers credit came back very good at 800 and we told them that we will be putting a down payment as well to help. However, we wanted a used Coleman but they told us that it had just sold once we were ready to make a deal and were on the phone with Good Sam insurance to get insurance for it. Okay fine it is what it is, so they tried to give us another trailer for the same price as the other for the inconvenience. Let s just say that they wanted way too much for the used trailer and in the end, it was going to be a 15yr contract, and my father would of had ended up paying like 3x what the trailer would of had cost over the 15yr course. I can see that on a new trailer but definitely not a used one. When we called financing, Ryan didn t care about negotiating a price or to keep our business. On the contrary, the Avondale location will make the moves to get you closer into your price range and seal a deal. Mesa location wants to keep the trailers versus sell them. I thank Chris for his patients in showing us the trailers and his professionalism goes a long way. However Ryan in financing did not put much effort in helping us in any way shape or form. My father and I wished the outcome would of had been different but I guess it wasn t meant to be? Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!

Great place to get everything you need for your RV including service. Misters are on in full force helping to keep customers cooler as the Arizona heat picks up. I found out that Propane regulators have been recalled. I was able to aquire a replacement for mine here in the parts department. The service department did a wonderful job fixing our AC unit.

I purchased a Brand new 5th wheel @ camping world, during the purchase I was asked to do a walk through and do an inspection there, completed a form and wrote down a list of repairs that needed to be done before pick up. Whatever they couldn't fix I was to bring back and after a few good uses they said. (Take it camping and use it and then schedule it back and we will finish up and current situations and what ever I find during camping). So I did, began trying to schedule after 7 months. I scheduled a service appointment and wow trying to get someone in service to schedule you or return your call was impossible When I finally got someone to return my call they scheduled me 3 months out, they couldn't get me in because they are overwhelmed with work, not enough service agents or techs, then do to a family passing I had to reschedule, the next available appointment was over 2 months, which ended up pushing me over the year by 15 days and now I have no warranty. The day of service they ask me to call jayco to extend the warranty, when I called Jayco I was told they don't do warranty extension. Service @ camping world said they have never had a problem before. Which jayco confirmed they never have done warranty extension. Now I'm out of luck and got to do my repairs out of pocket even repairs that I found the day of purchase/pickup. So be careful what they promised you even in paper. Get it done asap.. I'm still trying to get some things repaired if I can but it's not looking good. I'll update if anything changes.

Had to call multiple times to get a quote for service. Once they (finally) called back, the quote was outrageous. Four parts (2 thermostats, 2 softstarts) and they quoted $400+ (PER ITEM!!!) just to install. Folks, these are rated as "DIY" easy, maybe 90-min (total) to install. Not worth paying $1600 for the convenience. Outrageous! That reeks of, "we don't want your business" or they just charge more if you have a nice rig. No thanks, guys.

We went in today to just take a peek and get ideas on what we were looking for and Aaron did just that, he gave us so much information and really helped us narrow down a decision, without any pressure to buy. Right from walking inJenna and Carol at the front desk were very friendly and made us feel at home. Will definitely be back when we are ready to buy in a few months.! Very pleasant experience today.

If you want to be pressured, this is the place to go. They will email you constantly and not just the salesperson you spoke with. They do not stop when you ask them to. I have terminal cancer and am looking for a class C, I do not want pressure. I will never look at campers again at Camping world. I had to call the GM, and he was disrespectful to me with my situation.

Very predatory and dishonest sales tactics. They waste your time and try to keep you there as long as possible then hit you with added fees. The new trailers we looked at were in disrepair. Nope. Walked away. Won't go back. Too scammy.Note: this is not spam. This review is for the Mesa store that we walked out of before buying because they are too scummy. The other review of the Avondale store we should have left but did actually buy. If camping World read the reviews, they would have understood that. But, they are camping World and I'd not expect them too...Check out the camping world sucks Facebook group. 18,000 members and growing for good reason.

Really helpful finance person named David & friendly guy named George at customer service/cashier. I have spoken to Carol on the phone before & she was very kind & professional as well. We'll be back.We love the American flags at the Camping Worlds & Marcus Lemonis/The Profit is one of our favorites. Grateful to get to buy our RV recently from CW New River/Phoenix but this Mesa location is a lot closer!The RV we bought is the RV of our dreams!Regency Ultra Brougham Murphy Bed2019! God is so Good. We are blessed.He is our source! Thank you, Jesus!
