I have used Autovaun on several occasions. Always have a great experience. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Services are reasonably priced. So glad I found this shop! Thank you Autovaun for the great customer service. My Toyota runs like a top!

***Update***Still have yet to hear from anyone at the company. I have taken my truck to a very reputable company here in Mesa Hayes Transmission. I just got my bill and it was just over $1,600 which further goes to solidify my below review.******My experience with AutoVaun has been utterly disappointing and unacceptable. I brought my car in on 11/20/23 and spoke to an individual at the front desk. Right from the start, I sensed a lack of competence.I clearly communicated my car's issue and specifically requested a quote for rebuilding the rear differential and fixing the hub. Instead of providing a straightforward answer, he seemed unsure and vaguely mentioned the cost being in the thousands, which raised immediate doubts about their capabilities, knowledge and experience.The real shock came the next day when I received a call from a service writer claiming an exorbitant price of over $5,000 to replace the entire differential with used parts. When I mentioned I'd been quoted less than $2,000 for a rebuild elsewhere, the staff member dismissed it arrogantly, refusing to acknowledge the possibility of a more reasonable price.When I arrived on 11/22/23 to retrieve my car, I was informed of an unexpected $161 charge for diagnostics, which I explicitly did not request. The staff's attitude and insistence on payment for unagreed services were appalling. They pointed to a sign about charging for all work orders, conveniently undisclosed during my initial inquiry. The signed gave a price of $60. When I asked why it was more they said because they did a diagnosticsFurthermore, when I demanded to speak to someone in charge, the same disrespectful and unprofessional behavior continued. Instead of addressing my concerns, they attempted to deflect responsibility and accused me of being unreasonable, which is utterly unprofessional and disrespectful towards a paying customer.AutoVaun's lack of transparency, dubious pricing practices, and disrespectful treatment of customers like myself reflect a company more interested in exploitation than genuine service. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this establishment due to their unprofessional conduct and questionable business ethics.

As a repeat customer, I am and have always been impressed with Autovaun's service and price. The work they do is top quality, and they take the time to talk through issues with my vehicle in a way helps me to make the right decisions. Bought a truck from them and it's a really nice vehicle. What another shop destroyed the engine, they replaced it and we haven't had a bit of trouble with it since then. Going to take another truck in this week. Nice people

These guys were incredibly kind and helpful, even to the point of saving me a tow bill when I broke down in a nearby parking lot. They gave me two options to fix the vehicle in case I wanted to save money. I opted for replacing more parts in order to ensure no problems in the near future and they got me back on the road. I can't say enough good stuff about these guys! I'm on my first Fiat, and needed an oil change. Called in and had an appointment an hour and a half later! They shuttled me home, and back when the work was done. I'm very impressed, and happy that I found them.

Really great place, explained everything they were doing before making the repairs. We've had the car back for a week and everything is working well so far. Gave them 4 stars out of 5 because we did ask for the old parts back, but didn't get them. Not a big deal, more important that the job was done correctly, and I'd say it was, and it was done pretty quickly.Edit: Car is running great, they probably did me a favor not having to deal with the old parts. I wanted a reliable place to fix my car, and they did that and did an amazing. Updated my review to 5 stars.Service: Engine repair

This is a great shop. Honestly, I picked them a few years ago because it was close to work, but got very lucky. They have always done right by me. They even diagnosed a bad WalMart battery, paused their work and let me go swap it at wally world before they could finish my car and free up their work bay. What a great accommodation rather than just sticking me for a new battery!

They were wonderful. They diagnosed the problem and communicated with me about 3 times that day regarding diagnosis, how they will correct the problem, price and date my car would be done. They were 100 percent correct. My car was finished in a timely manner with great professionalism. I have already recommended them to all of my friends. I will definitely take me car back even if it's just an oil change. Totally trustworthy and honest.Service: Electrical

My first time here with what seemed to be a complicated Wrangler overheating issue. These guys figured it out quick.They are efficient and knowledgeable.Know what they're doing kinda shop.I highly recommend this place to anyone. There's no reason for me to go anywhere but Autovaun going forward.Special thanks fo Richard and his team.

The guys at Autovaun are always very friendly & accommodating and get our cars in quick. They have helped us deal with our warranty company to do what was best instead of what was easy. We call them first whenever we have car trouble.

I've been passing by Autovaun Automotive for the past 20 years and finally decided to give them a shot and took my RAV4 in for an oil change and alignment. I was very impressed by the level of customer service and care provided all around, from the person I spoke to on the phone to the mechanic who worked on my vehicle. And when I called to arrange to be picked up and taken there to get my vehicle once the work was completed my driver was the owner himself. We had a great conversation about how he came to own the business and his philosophy on customer service. So happy to have found a great place to take all of my vehicles. If I could give them 10 Stars I would.

This shop is garbage. I took a car for a simple check up. The car had no warning lights on and they returned it a check engine light on. Don't trust them.. at all. Shady

Richard was fantastic to work with! After being quoted double the cost by my dealer for a brake job, Richard and his crew provided professional service with wonderful quality in a timely manner. When he did not have the parts in stock, he was able to have them delivered within the same day. After he discovered they were not exactly the right size, he was very open about the situation and advised that he could put the car back together before the end of his workday for me to pick up or I could wait for the correct parts to come in the following morning and he would jump on it first thing. Richard hit the promised time dead on! There were no hidden fees and no additional charges! He even told me how dishonest the dealer was in describing the condition of the rear brakes needing to be replaced immediately, while they were in perfectly acceptable condition to continue operation. As someone who has never worked with an auto shop outside of the dealership service department, I feel confident in going back to Autovaun again and know that they have me covered. Thank you Autovaun team!

Power steering pump replaced / steering box/ pitman arm/ inner and outer tie rod ends/ would like to add Richard the service manager was very personable and kept me advised as repairs were being done/ they warranty all their work/ Initially noticed a bit of a whine from power steering pump and contacted Richard/ he advised that this is common and should adjust after use and if persists to bring back to the shop. I was introduced to this shop by a friend approx 10 years ago and have had work done missed a few years but trust their work and now a days trusting people to be honest and provide good service is getting hard to find. I have lived here for 3 years and haven t needed a repair shop, so when my 13 Wrangler sprung an oil leak of some sort, I asked for recommendations from an off road FB group. Autovaun was recommended and so I decided to give them a try since the recommendations were mostly good. After meeting Josh I knew immediately that I was in good hands. He told me what he thought the problem was and it turns out he was spot on. He called me to tell me what he had found and also found another issue with my rear differential and took care of that as well. This place is the real deal. Honesty, fair pricing and outstanding knowledge. I m a customer for life. Done. It s hard to find a repair shop like this. If it s broke, bring it here and let them do their thing. I ve been around the block a few times and know a good thing when I see one.

They've lied to me multiple times. One time claiming needing the replacement of nearly a dozen parts which were confirmed in fine condition, including wanting to replace a nearly brand new timing belt based off car mileage alone. Also brought my car in for one concern, and quite suddenly they called to tell me my window motor is broken, in their care, and it cost me $400 to have it fixed. Josh and Richard are always accommodating and willing to help out with our vehicles. Even on a super short notice. This time they were able to check our daughter's car who was visiting from out of town. We called and they were able to check the car that very day. They break down what needs to be done and the cost of everything, with explanations. Josh even drove my daughter all the way to Phoenix after she brought the car in.They fixed the issues with the car within a couple days and now we have peace of mind that she can drive safely back to Texas!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I have made new friends. Josh and his service manager were great to deal with and very friendly. They were able to service my work vehicle promptly and at a very reasonable price. I really appreciate the family feel to this business. They will even shuttle you home for free if they need to keep your car for longer repairs- who even does this!!?? Great service guys!! Have taken our cars to Vaun's for several years. They are friendly and helpful. The prices seem fair and they have always stood behind everything they do. They are honest and will tell you if something that needs repaired can wait for a bit or is emergent. I recently had my car in and part of my problem was under the warranty they provide for their work. Can't say enough great things about them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am beyond impressed by everything about my experience at Autovaun. Josh was honest, informative, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took care of an oil change, battery replacement and 45,000 mile service for my Audi I got in within a few hours of calling and the whole service was finished within three hours! Plus, the prices were incredibly fair (less than a third of what it would've cost at the dealership) and Josh and his team had clearly taken the time to keep my car extremely clean and tidy as they worked.

Our family has taken our cars to Autovaun for about ten years. They have always been courteous and personable. We are very protective of our vehicles and the team at Autovaun are too. They are extremely fair in their pricing. They recommend any maintenance that should be considered while also providing an explanation to the effects on the vehicle if the service is not performed and or how long (distance) until it will become a problem. Josh and his team are absolutely wonderful, they go above and beyond for me every time I take my cars in to be serviced. He s always polite, professional and honest, I ve been taking my car to Autovaun for over 15 years and my son and I would not take our cars to anyone else. Recently I had an issue with my car making a weird noise Josh came and got my car and worked on it till he finally figured out where it was coming from , he brought my car back good as new and even fixed my squeaky breaks that was driving me crazy. I have recommended Autovaun/Josh to my family and friends, thank you Josh and your team you guys are the best!

Moved to area 10 years ago; was concerned about finding a reliable, reasonable, honest auto repair shop. Got it with Autovaun! Been taking both older Volvos there; much better rates than using a dealership. They are very good at troubleshooting and making only needed repairs or service and finding hard to get parts. No pushing the bill up. Only had one issue that was resolved quickly and fairly. Had another problem with failed emissions test. Autovaun not only made one small fix that was needed but took the vehicle back to the testing station and confronted the manager there about an erroneous "defect." that really didn't exist. Now, that's service you can trust! Highly recommend.

I love this place! I usually do my own car work but every so often I need a mechanic and AutoVaun is incredible. They have excellent rates, customer service (they go so far beyond my expectations, I'm amazed), and workers. Their mechanics are top notch and know what they're doing. I feel very comfortable leaving my car in their hands (which doesn't happen often). I am very happy with them and have recommended them to my family and friends.
