I've been bringing my truck here to be worked on and off over the past year or two and they've been fantastic each time. The work they do here is amazing and 5 stars all around. We recently had my 1996 dodge ram 2500 diesel converted to a 5 speed manual 4x4 through them and the work done was fantastic, the truck drives amazingly now! And the labor charges were really good too, they might be a bit on the high side however the work they do is well worth the price. Highly recommend bringing your truck here for whatever work you need done, if they can frame swap a truck in about a month they can do just about any service you need done.

Was quoted $6000 for a new diesel filter by a local dealership. These guys figured out it was just a Def injector for a few hundred dollars!!! Customer for life now! Thank you so much!!

I don't normally leave reviews but I have to say these folks did a fantastic job with my clutch and flywheel as well as putting up with frustrating delivery issues from a distributor. I tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I had an HPOP done one my 7.3. Got it home and discovered my oil cap missing and my oil had not been changed even though I paid.Previously I had them do some battery cable work on my 2007 5.9. Now 8 months later I am doing an oil/air filer change. Noticed my airbox had basically fallen off. It was never screwed back on. With the high shop rate you'd figure everything would be perfect.Double check your rig after they do maintenance.

I dont know what to think. We just had it looked at. One sensor wasn't working. As soon as we picked it up, after the inspection, ALL sensors were broken all of a sudden. Was working totally fine. It put our truck in limp mode and now we're stuck.

The guys at the shop are awesome. I called them first thing in the morning after an issue with my truck. They recommend a tow company and got me in the same day. Had my truck done and a great price to. I couldn't be happier with the work that Drew and the Crew @ A2Z did to my pickup truck. They are very knowledgeable and will spend as much time as you need to explain everything to you, the quality of work is outstanding and the price was very reasonable. I called 5 other shops in town looking for a part and literally not one answer, so it wasn t hard for them to earn my business right off the bat. Then from there they were awesome had my parts sitting there when I showed up. Then I bugged the owner for about 30 minutes with questions and he took his time answering all of them and guiding me in the correct direction with my truck. I m 100% a random customer not a friend of the owner this is a genuine review and this shop is awesome and will take care of you.Service: Engine repair

Great shop!!! Joey got us fixed up really fast and I couldn t be happier!!! We were is Scottsdale for Barrett Jackson and our Ram s DEF system got clogged, dealership wouldn t help us out and wanted an arm and a leg to fix it. Gave A-2-Z a call and they fixed it in less than 24hrs from being at the dealership and at a way better price than they wanted. Truck made it back to Texas no problems and runs better than it has in a long time. Thank you again!

Shop was speedy and the techs were nice. My issue was I paid $700 to have two Autometer gauges installed in the pillar of my F350. I provided the materials so it was just labor. My boost gauge sat almost half way out of the pod because of a brass fitting behind the gauge. This was told to me once they were done and I paid. I was told if you re picky, you may notice it sticking out yes, for $700 to have these installed, I paid for the luxury of being picky. Now, I know these types of things can happen when you provide your own materials. However, for what I paid, I should have received a finished product. There were options to make it fit right (right angle brass fitting, heat up plastic and mold the fitting to fit) I did the latter at home. Took about 20 minutes and it sits flush now. I was on the fence about paying someone to do this work, as I almost always do my own mechanic work. I paid a lot to have them do this, and I still had to finish it. It s frustrating.

I had the base of a swivel metal-frame office chair break at the weld points. A friend suggested nearby A2Z Diesel for a possible welding repair. I explained the problem to Jody who took the base into his shop where he repaired the cracked welds and even applied a coat of spray paint to finish the job. In and out in 15 minutes at a very fair price. Thanks A2Z!

The only shop to get my truck in faster then months of waiting. Diagnostic was spot on and very good! Keep it up guys it's hard to find good shops will definitely be back to work with them again in the future.

Took my 04 6.0 here for a turbo clamp replacement.Couldn t have been happier with the service of the office staff, the technicians and Joey!These guys are fast and efficient with Excellent labor rates!Stop looking for a diesel mechanic because you ve just found the best shop in the valley!

Where to begin.. I have a 2005 Ram 2500 compound turbos full exhaust etc... the truck used to have very little turbo lag and as of recent the amount of lag has increased. I had initially taken my truck to another shop, they had diagnosed my problem and were trying to sell me new injectors. They had insisted that that was my problem. Injectors are a $4000-$5000 job. I always believe in seeking second opinions so on referral of a friend i gave A2Z a call and spoke with Ben. Before ever meeting me he took the time to listen to my problem and educate me to to possible scenarios. After getting off the phone with him i decided to give him a shot and let him take a look at the truck. Dropped the truck off at 8:30 and by noon he had called probably about 2 or 3 times just to keep me updated and continue to educate me as to what was going on. I really appreciate that! So many shops you go to it takes them forever to get to your vehicle and the communication is usually mediocre at best. Not this place. They're on the ball!! After a thorough diagnostic process he figured out what was wrong. My aftermarket tuning computer had crapped out, I had a bad pressure relief valve and multiple leaks on my small turbo. Got it all taken care of for a fraction of the price quoted to me for the injectors and now the truck runs great!! I'll end up changing out the injectors anyway just for the added performance but my days of shopping around are over. I'll be doing all my business from here on out with Ben and A2Z!!

I had A-2-Z diesel rebuild an Allison 1000 transmission, I paid roughly $6000. Right off the bat something didn't seem right, it seemed to shuffle shift and the temperature was higher than normal. I called about 15 minutes after leaving the shop to express my concerns and was told the transmission needed time to learn my driving style. I called a few more times over the next few weeks continuing to express concerns and was told the same thing over and over.At approximately 1500 miles the truck had to be towed to Phoenix to the shop because it leaked nearly 4 quarts of transmission fluid all over my driveway (which is now ruined). I got my truck back once again and the same issues continued, high transmission temps and shifting problems. My truck didn't even make it 4000 miles before the transmission completely failed. I was driving through town, parked and then couldn't get the truck to go forward or in reverse. I called A2Z and was told the truck was 1 month out of warranty so they wouldn't do anything about it. I was told I could figure out how to get the truck back to the shop and I could paid to have it rebuilt again.I have spent $12,000 in 13 months on a transmission (it was rebuilt by a different shop the 2nd time around).I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and quality of work I received from A2Z. I would not recommend A2Z unless you want to throw money away and just have it redone later.

They help me , change fuel for diesel but after 150 miles I have to call towing in Holbrook NM because the line from injector nr 4 was not tied good and loose fuel preasure in fuel system.The another shop need fix this.

Joey personally ensures customer satisfaction here. I wouldn't say they are the least expensive but I feel they are very honest. That alone is worth it's weight in gold.
