So, I know it's a motel not a hotel, but that means it really is too expensive for what you get.Pros:Bed was clean and comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator worked well and were clean.HVAC worked.Nice view of mountain.Cons:No one is at the front desk so you have to wait after pressing Ring doorbell for them to drive over.Bathroom was not clean and the shower water temperature was cold.TV was tiny.General disrepair: Coffeemaker did not work properly. Dirty shelf over kitchen-style sink hanging by a couple of screws. Table taken apart with broken legs kept in closet that had no hangers. Bedside lamp turned on but wouldn't turn off (had to unplug it).P.S. There is no lake nearby.

Overall, fine place. We did have some issues, though they really weren't that big a deal. Everyone was very nice.We arrived a bit after 6 and had to wait maybe 10 minutes after pressing the ring doorbell for anyone to come. I think we just got unlucky with both employees being busy. But then our room hadn't been cleaned yet, so we just went straight for dinner at the restaurant next door. When we got back, the bed was made, but the floors were very dirty (like you needed to wear shoes or socks or you'd feel little bits of stuff on your feet after a few steps). The shower was out of body wash and hot water only lasted about 5 minutes, though it remained a little warm so could still shower without significant discomfort or anything. So overall, certainly works, but it was just missing some of the expected minor comforts of staying in a motel (compared to a hostel or camping).

Do not forget that it is a Motel, once this point is remembered, I can tell you that the registration was very fast, by a very kind lady, at the time of registration there are several printed notices, indicating among other things: the WiFi , the very basic products of the store (snack), as well as the rules of permanence, at the end of the registration they gave me the key (which you have to deposit in a mailbox at the end of your stay). There were two small inconveniences which, if they were detected in time by us, I'm sure they would be corrected immediately. 1. there was no toilet paper, 2. there was a coffee maker inside the room with 2 servings of coffee, but there was no bottled water or glasses, by the time we realized the reception was already closed and 3. when we used the oven microwave to reheat some burritos, there was a kind of blackout, the power went out, leaving only the air conditioning working, unfortunately as it was very early (the next day), there was no one to help us at the reception, but I repeat, I'm I am very sure that there would be staff available from the motel, this would have been solved immediately. Now, for everything else, it is more than excellent, the bathrooms are clean, the rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning and heating work perfectly. It has WiFi, cable TV, there is also a menu of nearby shops which can deliver to your room between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. m. to 8 p.m. m. If you go to the great canyon, it is a good option to rest and be one of the first to reach it.Rooms: Limpias y cmodasNearby activities: Restaurantes, caf, plaza local, gasolinera, sper.Safety: No advertimos nada extraoWalkability: S, para conocer los locales cercanosFood & drinks: Hay de todo

Nice little place. Agree with others that the setting might be a little off-putting, but fear not. Quiet, pleasant, and clean. The fixtures and amenities inside are up-to-date, in great condition, and pleasant. It IS small, but uses the space quite well. Cramped for a family of 5, but I was impressed with the use of space. Also loved that the shower has a fold down bench. Beds and pillows were quite comfortable.

We made a reservation through the company's website (not a third party) and called to let then know we'd be a late arrival. To our surprise, there were no rooms available, as they were apparently booked for a wedding. We were told we shouldn't have been able to book, since they're sold out, but our card had already been charged.Completely unprofessional and we felt blamed for their mistake.

We paid over 170 for a dirty MOTEL.yhe ac didn't work the shower floor was filthy and floors needed to be swept and mopped and the baseboards and back of rr door were filthy. Plus there were so many bugs in the rr. At that price you should get complimentary breakfast. And the recommended restaurant is awful. Bring your own food and blankets. There is a nice family dollar here though we're you can pick up some food to microwave and get some blankets. But there is literally nothing else.

This morning was fantastic. The rooms were clean and recently updated. The shower was tall and had good pressure. AC was on when we got into the room. A little remote but the drive was nice and it was a breathtaking view at sunset.

Room was dusty, which exacerbated my allergies. Area under the bed had a thick layer of dust and trash from previous guest. Counters and coffee maker were sticky. TV & AC did not work. No soap. Mini refrigerator had mildew. No front desk staff available to take corrective measures. Rather expensive rate to be so lacking. Wish we would have driven to Flagstaff, as it was equally priced.

Rooms are nice, the bathrooms are wonderful. The beds are memory foam and quite comfortable. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms are. The management was nice and helpful, she told us about local places to visit and eat. Great experience overall!!

This motel is a very good choice to stay close to the Grand Canyon. Laura ,the owner of the motel was very kind and helpful . The room was very comfortable for a Motel Meaning it's not super fancy but very clean .Matress was super comfortable. But by far my favorite part was the water pressure in the shower was amazing !!!!!!. We would totally stay here again ;) the area is very isolated so bring some food or snacks . the view at night was amazing u can see lots of stars and in the morning it's also a breathtaking view .The only thing I would suggest is some hooks around the room to hang things (I'm a huge hook person ) keep up the good job Laura and hubby (sorry I did not catch his name)

On our way back from Vegas my wife and myself needed a room for the night because we were hitting the Grand canyon Zipline the next morning. Amanda the the manager was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. She recommended a bar and grill right down the street. The people there we're also very very welcoming as well. The fish and chips we're great. On our way out we ran into the owner of the Hotel who Insisted on paying for our meal! He told of all the great local near by places and invited us to come back next month for the opening of his restaurant, Texas style BBQ!Honestly the hospitality of this small little town hotel was 100 times better then our Vegas hotel experience. This is the place to stay

Great Experience at the Meadview lake Motel. There was an issue with our room as it was not ready when we arrive. The reception called the person to clean the room asap and give us a discount for the delay. He took the time with us to explain were we can go to sea the lake. The room was really nice, clean and fully furnished. Recommend ++++

What a gem!! We stayed here last week, drove in late at night, and didn't even realize until we woke up that we were sleeping in the Grand Canyon! The gentleman at the front desk was great, the rooms were newly remodeled and darling! There's a lovely restaurant right across the road that is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I loved Meadville so much, we can't wait to come back!!

Their accommodations were nicer than we expected! Our host was also super responsive whenever we needed help, no matter the time. We forgot our laptop and they called us in time for us to come back and get it. Would recommend staying here when needing a friendly place to rest on a trip.

This is a well kept motel. The rooms are roomy and comfy. My Mom and sister are in town to visit and this place is perfect for them. The shower has a pull down seat for those that need it. Especially great is the fact that it's just across the road from the Crow's Nest Cafe.

Laura and Robert, owners, are incredibly nice and friendly. Excellent amenities, clean, comfortable. The view of the Grand Wash cliffs at sunset is incredible! Close to food, cocktails, and a store. Within a half hour from Lake Mead and The Skywalk at the Grand Canyon. We can't wait to go back!

The rooms have very comfortable beds. The owner/manager is named Laura and she brings some of that down home hospitality to her motel. We had a beagle with us and she put us near the dog run. Veery quiet clean rooms with a beautiful view.

This motel is fairly clean, has comfortable beds and included a large microwave, larger sized mini fridge, coffee maker and a nice walk-in shower. The TV was a little small but, other than that, no complaints.

Carol is an absolute sweetheart! Just an amazing smile to greet you when arrive to the Grand canyon. The hotel is a little small, maybe 8 rooms. But its under new managament and is getting an upgrade. They do have a restaurant but its currently closed. Other than that it's nice quaint stay.

Pretty clean room with comfortable beds. Larger sized mini-fridge, large microwave and kitchen sink were very convenient. The TV could have been larger but worked just fine.

This motel is very quiet and the new owners and staff are very friendly. Pets welcome, and handicap accessible. Is currently being remodeled but still open for business. WiFi, flat screen TVs with cable, coffee pots and hair dryers in every room.

A diamond in the rough. If you are headed to the West Rim this is the perfect place to stay for the night. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and amazing showers. I havr spent significantly more on hotel rooms and gotten significantly less. The town is a bit run down, and we saw a couple of coyotes running down the main street, but this hotel rocks!

When we first got to reception to ask for a room to sleep, there was a dog that came and barked. The owner lifted the dog by the scruff of the neck which I didn't find acceptable in front of guests. We asked if there was a kitchette and they advised there was. They also let us know of a couple of places to get food which was great but as we were tired we just wanted to quickly cook and go to bed. Room was very pleasant however there were absolutley no utensils. Not even a spoon or a plate. There was only a coffee machine and 2 paper cups. There was a microwave but no way for us to cook any food what so ever. Renovations in the room next to us started very early in the morning so there was no chance for a sleep in. $89 + tax is a rediculous price for literally a bed and a kitchen to look at and not be able to use.

Drive to Meadview is unreal.Shoutout to Larry at the front desk. What a helpful gentleman. And possibly the best head of hair west of the Mississippi...! Will visit again for sure.
