The new location is nice and clean. Staff is knowledgeable and nice. I needed a new battery. They offered to install it as well as offer tools it but I preferred to do it myself and had my own. I wish I could remember the name of there person who helped me he was amazing. The other worker was helping an old man install something in his car and came over to see if I needed assistance when he finished.

This store is full of knowledgeable employees. Rodney was very kind today and helped me find a part I needed. He did all the work and I am very appreciative! Thank you for the great service!

The manager, Jeremy, is a horrible communicator and less than honest person. After 3 attempts he interviewed me for a part-time job. He told me I was hired on a Saturday at the Porter Rd Maricopa store, shook my hand and told me he would call me in 4 days. I spent $90 on new black pants and a belt as he recommended. He never called me so I called the store and was told he was "on vacation" and to call the Coolidge store on the following Monday. I called the Coolidge store and was told they had no idea where he was. I called the Maricopa JWP store and they said he was still on vacation and would call me the following Monday. (I gave the store my phone number a third time. I had given my number twice to Jeremy.) Jeremy did not call me on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday so I called him at the JWP Maricopa store Wednesday. He said something about talking to the new manager at JWP Maricopa (who he had hired) since they hired too many people! He promised to talk to the new manager and call me Friday. On Friday since it was close to noon and I hadn't heard from Jeremy he told the guy who answered the phone at a Casa Grande stote that he would call me in 15 minutes. That was 6 hours ago. What a lack of customer service / people skills Jeremy exhibited. I stopped looking for a job for 3 weeks based on his hollow promise. I'll be buying my parts at O'Reilly's from now on.

New manager at this store is awesome. I was there night he was promoted, saw him again the other day and he's still going Cabo e and beyond to help people which is nice to see.

I've been shopping for years all over the country here and this location is, by far, the worst location. I will drive to Casa Grande to avoid this location. On dozens of occasions I've been in and ignored at the counter when I walk in, the parts aren't in Stock, the counter person just doesn't want to try to help, they didn't place an order several times, then never cancelled an order, I'm on hold for 30 to 60min sometimes, I've been told my vehicle doesn't exist, I've been forgotten at the counter, I've been spoken to rudely, I've had my change pushed AT ME instead of handed to me, I could go on. I even spoke to the store manager and he just nodded his head and didn't say much. Poorly run store. Oscar is incredibly rude and lazy. I have a commercial account and trying to use it here is a bigger nightmare than just being a regular customer.

Although Auto Zone isn't usually my first stop, I have appreciated the help I get at this location. They hold true to their warranties and sometimes have oem standard parts for cheaper prices compared to other places.

Sunday afternoon 10/19/2023 6:30pm, I was in the #3381 Maricopa store to swap battery, the guy told me that the battery had to be charge for about 3 hours and if the car didn't start my alternator was bad. He didn't know what he was talking about, and the truth is that he didn't want to give me the battery, that by the way was under warranty. I pickup the battery later and my car didn't start until I jump it again, the battery was dead, because the Gilbert store confirm it and change it in less than 30minutes. Great customer Service!The Maricopa store do not care if they leave people stranded in the middle of the road, you need knowledgeable people that can do the job and want to help customers. Horrible service!! and hope that doesn't happen to another customer. Make sure that went they checking something (battery) they show you the result of the test.

Autozone worker Jeremy the manager was so so helpful with our van that got broken down in a circle k parking lot came to help us right away and jumped into our car and completely fixed whatever had happened to our car that completely broke down in the parking lot. Jeremy was a miracle worker and so sweet and we even offered to pay him and he declined, couldn t have done it without you Jeremy!!

5 years, I avoid it only when I must go. And almost each time reminded of why. Not all, i stress, but high percentage of rude and condescending individuals employed that have me not want to come back, quite honestly if it was 30 years ago I would have lost my composure. And today I did on the phone with an employee. Right now, Id have to say this is last time I will ever walk in or any other near location .

Good place and clean, fully stocked.My only complaint is their attitude on used oil returns, almost like they don t want the hassle and didn t want the container.

Store was overall amazing! Customer service is outstanding. I went in for a battery and was able to receive help right away. Not only did they help me locate a battery but an employee by the name of Drake offer to take me to my vehicle that was about 3.5 miles away so I didn t have to wait for a Uber/walk to my vehicle. AutoZone should be proud to have an employee with the values that not many have! Thank you drake for you service and everyone at the store for your help while I was in need. PS- my wife and son were also thankful since they were with me and notice the amazing help received.

AutoZone makes it very easy to grab what you need when you need it. Especially if you know exactly what you want.Simple turn signal bulb replacement So made for a fast trip to the parts store.

This review is a bit long but my experience was awful.Husband originally came in looking for something to assist with a battery that was too small for the bay. We were just looking to purchase and leave but the associate decided to help by jamming a piece of wood under the battery as a favor instead of just recommending something for us to buy. Uh ok. *Surprise* It didn t work.I went back with my husband the second time looking for spacers, a bracket, anything. Again, someone decided to come out and do us a favor by inserting the bracket. Until the manager came out, didn t listen to a thing we said and, started to lecture us about how they don t do that here and the person who did it was wrong and you shouldn t expect this every time. The manager was unprofessional, rude, and not open to listening to what we actually wanted.I don t know why we were flagged as people looking for free services, when we were honestly coming in to purchase an item to bring home and insert ourselves BOTH VISITS. I m not exactly sure what happened here but I will never come to this location. Luckily I don t need to as there are multiple car shops and similar places right down the road.

I called them ahead and gave a very detailed description of the part I needed before getting cut off asking year make model I know exactly what I need don t waste my time if I ask to grab a part , please get what I ask for, not what you think is right, I ve already made 3 trips back and forth and I live 20 minutes away, I couldn t go back a forth time and my family who s unfamiliar with the part picked it up for me from whoever I spoke with on the phone ,and gave them the wrong part . Drove back 20 minutes to me for no reason. please fix the customer service details are very important I m very disappointed and will only be going to oreilys now.

If I could give a 0, I would. I ordered an engine 9/2022. I found out 12/2022 that it is lost. It is now February and they still have not found the engine. Now I have to ask for a refund and start back at step 1 with another company. This is a major inconvenience and fail. How does misplace an entire engine!?!

The service member quickly diagnosed my battery and replaced it with no additional cost. I was in and out with a new battery in less than 15 minutes. Good customer service.

These guys are great, Gilbert knew his stuff and I wouldn't be back here without him. Spencer and Hunter did a great job replacing the battery and testing alternator, hope Spencer finds a home at the new store in Maricopa. Thanks all.

The employees were helpful when looking for certain items such as the right bulb for your car.. hardly anyone in the mornings. Which I prefer is the best time to go.

I would give a 0 star if I can. I just bought oil filter wrench and it doesn t work for my car which I bought it in the morning and return it at afternoon. I have a receipt and everything is in the package. The manger was rude saying it s already used and won t refund it. It s only $15 but I can t use it and I won t use it in future. I ve been auto zone s customer for years. Never been experience like this management ever. The manager is not professional and no sympathy to customer. I won t return to that store and would not recommended at all to all my family and friends. When you see this review better to go find somewhere else to buy your stuff.
