The staff is Wonderful and so very pleasant!! Stayed here for 6 days in June. Nice spot in back section but hard to get in because almost all the sites are permanent RVers. Also make sure you look at spot before paying because the first spot given, there was No Way we would have fit. Also if you want to use the bathroom/shower rooms, you will need a key

The 5 star service has been super friendly both times I have camped there. The environment doesn't feel as "holiday-ish" as I would expect. It seems to be geared toward long term RVers and less toward weekenders making me feel a bit like I was camping in someone's back yard. It was very peaceful and beautiful and the grounds were clean. It's a good spot for home-base camping for touring around the eastern White Mountains. If your family or group is a lively bunch, this may not be the best suited place.

Used to be our favorite but too much construction now. Chopping trees all day and beeping vehicles with the mass expansion. Feel sorry for the wild horses. Very noisy now. Glad they're expanding and successful but we like quiet!

Price $ for over night camping was great ! We just spent one night on our way back to NM. RV park has really gone down since 3-4 years ago when we rode around the camp ground! Very dusty roads ! It would be a beautiful RV Park with a little TLC !!Food & drinks: Gas station, Casino with restaurants are very convenient! Just across the street!!

Just being honest here:Bath/Shower rooms were not cleaned the whole week we were here. Same full trash cans and dirty floors from Sunday to Saturday. They are also NOT secure when you are using them. You cannot lock the door from the inside. Only thing they have is a magnetic sign that says occupied that you stick on the outside of door. Keeps no one from walking in on you.Didn't get a key to the showers or internet code until day 2. (Note: We did arrive on a Sunday when office was closed but they 'could have' put both in the arrival pack in the mailbox)Directions and road signs are not very well thought out. Made it hard to find the spot we were assigned. You are on your own finding where you park. It would be a nightmare in the dark. Suggest making sure you arrive with daylight.85% of the park are full/part time residents with permanent RV's. I am sure that those residents are great people. Just making note that it is more of a trailer park than an RV campground.Park is not well groomed but at $29 a day, I can say that, for juat a basic park, it was worth it.

The park itself is nice - lots of trees, clean, quiet. A lot of full timers reside in the summer, very friendly, nice people. Our biggest complaint were the restrooms - the absolute filthiest we have ever experienced (and we ve been full time RVers)! We let the management know and they sent someone out but they didn t actually clean - just sprayed and did a quick pass. The toilets were caked and needed scrubbing. It was truly disgusting. We will not return.

The RV park is operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. It is in a descent location, only a few miles from Pinetop AZ. The good is the lots are fairly large, spaced out, and shaded. The bad is that it is poorly managed and maintained, the office staff is unresponsive and rude, and it is expensive unless you can get a monthly rate, which we could not. Most lots are bogarted on a long term basis by Phoenix Valley residents. The left over ones are the less desirable and are poorly or never maintained. The roads are mainly potholed and dusty dirt, with some cinders. We has an issue with no water pressure that prevented us from using our slide-out and only internal water for 2 days, with no compensation. Go elsewhere and reserve early for the summer, which we could not do. 2 stars for location and lot size only, unfortunately this is the current state of the RV park industry.

We were a little disappointed in this park. It was very difficult to navigate in the down pour of rain. And our site was between two tall pines, you could tell that others have had problems getting in by the amount of broken lenses on the ground. Escorted parking would be great for this park, who's roads are poorly marked. Roads really need an upgrade, new gravel or re-asphaulting would make a big visual improvement.Otherwise rate is good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights in Dec, 2021 in a 30' RV. Upon arrival to a 500 site camp, only 2 sites were available. One was too tight to get into and the other was far from the bathhouse. The place has a lot of fulltime empty campers from what we could see. The front desk gave me the wrong instructions twice for getting into the pull-thru sites. The place is full of lovely trees but this makes the sites very, very, very tight. The bathhouses have only two rooms for each section of the campground and they are very unclean. Very poorly maintained. The showers at the office close with the office and the men's was out of order as was the laundry. This was our 18th RV park in two months and ranks at the bottom of the list. We will not return and cannot recommend.

I purchased Propane here, across the street from their gas station. A friend told me about it, I've driven up here for gas and now propane. The office called for someone who came out quickly. The man was very friendly, enough that I felt a review was in order. He filled one tank and topped off my other tank but what impressed me is that when the first tank reach 7 he quickly turned it off, when the second he was topping off sprayed out again he quickly turned and stopped the lose. I have not had propane in a long time, this place that I'm in uses it and I can say for certain, I will make the small drive to be served like that again.. Service to me matters! Barry,

Nice, very large 500 space RV Park with laundry, bathrooms and showers. We stayed end of March so it was quiet. Many RVers stay the summer months and leave their rigs over the winter. Great fishing nearby on the many reservation lakes. Buy your fishing permit at the market next to the casino. Walking distance to Hon-Dah casino.

This is a great site with very reasonable price and surrounded by amazingly dense green forest. Almost all sites sites are under shade. Good facilities. It is huge place so you may get lost but even that s fun. People are very friendly and store items are also reasonable priced. Casino restaurant has the best pizza and price is very reasonable. It is close to lakes and other attractions in the Pinetop Show Low area.

The RV Park staff were friendly and accommodating. The cost of a nightly stay is appropriate. However, the original RV Park sites need some tender loving care. The water supply was brown water and took awhile to clear up. The site had not been cleaned of debris in a while. All-in-all a quit Park with gas station, restaurant and gaming across the street from the Park.

Nice..didn't realize how big it is..Prices are good. Stay as long as you like.Friendly...very quiet...no street lights...star friendly..showers clean..laundry mat.. having more water pressure in showers would be nice,,and would even be cost effective.. right in the pines...casino is right across street...full buffet...the employees are kind and helpful...close to safeway...restaurants.Love white mountainsENJOY

Great park in a great location. If you want swimming pools, shuffleboard courts, etc. you need to stay down the hill. Kelly does a great job running the office and as long as you keep your requests reasonable based on the size of the park and available personnel, they do their best to help. After four summers there, we couldn t ask for more. Looking forward to year five!

Absolutely do not recommend this place. If you get in after dark, plan on spending an hour to find your space. Most spots are not marked, those that are have the number at the back of the site, so if there is an RV in the spot you won't see the number, better have a spot light to read the road signs and well hidden space numbers, that is if it even has a number. The roads are horrendous. If there is ever a fire here, many people will perish from not being able to find their way out due to the poorly marked roads and exits. Our pad is on the same side and 10' from our neighbors with 6 kids. Got here and after looking for 1hour and 15 minutes finally found our spot only to find these same neighbors parked their car in our space, parked all the kids bikes and toys on our cement pad, had their water hose hooked up to our water. The ground is full of lava rocks all in the camp site, so all you have literally is a small cement pad, the spot your RV and extra vehicle parks on. See my Facebook post and picture on their page.Very, very disappointed.

On our trip through the southwest, we stayed here for one night because we wanted to support the Apache Nation. Our experience was less then good. We have a small 21' trailer. They put us in site 444, a back-in site at the dead end of a road with 7 other sites, all permanent residents. The map showed this road as being a cul de sac, which would allow one to turn around and back in. It was NOT. My husband had to make multiple attempts to turn around, and was finally able to get our rig positioned, but not without having to first remove a pile of debris with his shovel. The site was terrible! In addition to the difficult access and the debris piles, the ground is covered with lots of jagged gravel of varying sizing, making it extremely difficult, dangerous even, to walk around. There was also no WiFi even though we were given a password when we checked in. (The neighbor told us that the WiFi was down and wouldn't be repaired for a couple of days.) Beware of this RV park!

This park is really not available for overnight camping. Most all of the sites have been taken over by full-time residents. They have added sheds, decks, fences around their places. Do not bother trying to get in here to stay. There are no vacancies which is a shame because the casino is right across the street. It's too bad that they didn't save some spots for transients.

Let's be real, for you folks that don't know or are just starting out you might think casinos aren't bad. I retired 25 years ago and traveled from Phoenix to N Y during that time and there's very few people that have been in more casino than me. oh u might win a few bucks here and there but your not going to win like we did before the virus. Forget it your just not going to win like yesterday bottom line

R V Park is expensive to keep your trailer there and they won't let any 10 year old trailers stay there unless they like u, then your old trailer can stay

This was a second choice when we visited show low area, but turned into the best choice we have ever made.Truly the very best RV park we have ever been in, the cleanest and quietest.Every thing was laid out to accommodate our Rv, the cement patio was so very welcome and the help of the personnel was top notch. Randy and TJ super great. We wanted to stay forever, but had to go home
