Bill, at get in gear is the man! This is my second time going to him! An he never fails! Beats everyone s prices! Not just that! The efficiency in getting the job done was incredible! The guys at Get it in gear rebuilt the transmission on my work truck. It was done quickly and I think professionally. A small problem developed about a month later. They took care of it immediately with no issues. I found them courteous, helpful, and people that"do what they say they are going to do". Highly recommend Bill and the group at Get it in gear transmission!

Be aware of this shop, they are a rep-off and they make you believe and make you pay for original factory parts and the use after-market cheap parts.

My wife an I had arrived after10 hour trip from CA. on a Sunday and our transmission started slipping. We went to the only open place and were told the solenoids were bad a very expensive repair. The next day my wife wanted a second opinion and called Get it In Gear. Bill, the owner, had us bring it up and after he scoped we were told nothing was wrong. He said sometimes the ATC causes a trans to slip and then correct. Bill saved us thousands from a bogus dishonest repair shop diagnosis and did not charge us a penny. Wonderful to find such a respected, honest business.Service: Transmission repair

Took my 67 Chevelle in with multiple problems on a new transmission that was installed from another shop. Bill and Rob figured it out within a few days and had it working like its supposed to work! Great guys and they do great work!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Very rude and full of themselves. Unreliable and I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Went across town and was treated with respect and very fast trans rebuild instead of insults. Was told as he told me to take it somewhere else, "I'm the best in Havasu!" Right, it depends on if your family, apparently. Serviced sucks !Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I want to send a big thanks to Bill and his staff. My transmission went out on my Cadillac one day before we're supposed to head back to Phoenix. I got a referral to bill from a friend Bill told me he was extremely busy but he would try and work with me. Of course it had to be on a Friday afternoon when I got the car to him. By Monday at 4pm I had a fully rebuilt transmission and I recommend his shop greatly. They also fix some other issues they found and stayed with the agreed price he gave me on Friday. Thanks again guys you saved the day I will always recommend you as the go to transmission shop in Havasu.

Great shop! He towed my truck in for free. Had me in and out ready to go with no problems the next day. He had the transmission I needed. If he doesn't have a transmission build for you he will rebuild yours for a good price and he builds it with quality. He lets you know everything he is doing and has done to get the job done. I would recommend Bill to anyone friends family or anyone who has transmission issues. Thank you Bill!

Bull really helped with my Ford Expedition issue.With all of his years of experience and trouble shooting he knew right what the issue and problem was.Saved me hundreds of dollars based on his advice and solution to fixing the problem. I highly recomend Get it In Gear.

This is a great shop, took care of me and provided excellent service. Price to rebuild a 4l60e was great and he even went above and beyond for some internal hardware. I am going to have Mr Powell do all my work.

The reviews are right stay away from this place. The first time I had my jeep in there they had it for 3 weeks and when I finally got it back it still wasn t fixed. So I took it back never heard from them. Called several times and they said when we got to it. Finally got it back and was charged an extra 400 dollars. And the next time I talked to them I was told that they didn t remember me .Service: Clutches & transmissions service & repair

Absolutely wonderful!!! We were here on vacation when the transmission went out on our truck as we were trying to leave to go home. Bill was great! Quote was WAY under the other shop in town and a better warranty much faster!! They took so much stress away. Noticed a couple of other things and took care of those for us also! Thankyou thankyou for helping us get back on the road! We will definitely be back next time we have a problem!

Had my transmission rebuilt at Get It In Gear recently, and driving it home we noticed a leak from the transmission. Upon further inspection we noticed the vent line on top of the transmission was broken off and hanging down along the side of the transmission, and the gasket on the drain plug was cracked and leaking as well. We took it back to Get It In Gear and the owner Bill said they would take care of it free of charge. When I picked up the vehicle I was told it was all taken care of and ready to go. After we got home, I looked under the Jeep again and noticed absolutely nothing was addressed. Still leaking, same exact gasket on the drain plug, and same broken vent hanging. It's rediculous we were bold faced lied to by this company. I now have to find a reputable company to fix the work of this shop. Buyer beware

Best transmission shop around, I have had Bill build my transmissions for the last 15 years and will continue to bring all my transmissions to him. Actually driving down from Vegas today to bring him another one! Thanks Bill for the awesome builds, your trans builds are beast!

Had problems since day one. Job was never finished to specifications, had to ask for a list of what was done and a tiny note on the work order was all that was provided; which was of course missing items I prefer to have installed during the operation.Brought it back and was told there was nothing that could be done.I guess it's good that the transmission didn't blow up yet though?Brought it to my guy in Las Vegas and he told me that in his 30 years of experience he is never heard of someone blaming such hard transmission shifts on a supposed shift kit and that continuing on with this current issue will most likely break the motor mounts. I tend to agree because I feel like I get rear-ended every time the vehicle shifts. I would avoid this place, maybe go to somebody in a reputable town rather than Havasu where you have to beg people to do bare minimum work.

My husband and I just moved here from California within a couple weeks our transmission went out. Called around and came across Bill. He had the the best prices and got us back on the road quickly. By far the best. Thanks Bill!

Full rebuild 5 hour same day turn around. Came in on his day off the day after thanksgiving. Updated everything with good products. Clean build room and very friendly owner. Very fair price.

I have used "Get it in Gear" several times and I am very happy with their service. I have a BMW that I would not trust just anyone to service the transmission and drive train. They also exclusively service my Denali. Get it in Gear came highly recommended from BMW service centers as an alternate source for service. I would have to rate the service and quality of work as excellent.

Well I took my suburban to have my 4L80 E rebuilt. Took about a month. Charged me 2400 dollars. Lasted about 7200 miles. Started slipping and no reverse. Took it back and he rebuilt it again 2nd time. Charged me another 1900 dollars. I asked him why it ran so hot. About 240 degrees. He said the guage was wrong. Guage was fine. Told me I should sell it. Would not give me a waranty. Said it was electrical. Now I give him about 5000 dollars and now I have a truck I have to part out to sell. I wouldn't take my bicycle to him to fix. That place is a ripp off.

Top notch work from these guys. Brought my Ford diesel stick shift truck in with a bad gear noise. They told me what to expect beforehand. Consulted with me as the trans rebuild progressed and finished on time as promised. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Awful!!! What I got was not what was promised. Note: Make sure BEFORE you do any business with them or anyone to have a quote written down on paper. This is a must since they will not do what is promised. I had some work done on my transmission, no shift kit was installed nor was another part connected to my transmission. Horrible, payed $1000+ for a transmission I HOPE even works (with no shift kit that was promised to be installed) and not to even be installed the correct way. As you can see he responds to negative remarks with much customer satisfaction and respect "XXX use your real name you spineless fool" That does not sound like a smart business owner that appreciates a customers business! When I called to notify that the transmission had parts not connected the correct way i was then threatened to be beaten up. REASONS LIKE THAT ARE WHY YOU'RE NOT IN THE BBB..

We would again like to thank you for every thing you have done and showing our boys that their are still pepole that have the same values as us, Get it in Gear Transmitions is a honest hard working shop who cares for the cuomunity they gave us a nice break on all the work they did on my tahoe and after being riped off by Aamco in lake havasu Az. it was so great to find a shop who truly listened and cared for their customers they rushed to get our Tahoe back in only Two days and did a complete rebuid on our transmition and it runs so sweet. Thank you again from the Clubbs.you truly have no idea how much we are greatful for what you have done.P.SHire more Mechanics cause were sending every one your way:)
