My grandpa was friends with Mike a long time ago and he recently passed and entrusted me with his GTO. This car means the world to me and I know grandpa trusted him to take care of it so I brought it to Mike. Had it in and out in less than 2 days. Works perfectly and charged fairly. Thank you Mike and I will definitely be back.

I had trouble with my transmission while driving down the 40 going through Kingman. luckily I found these guys because they helped me out and went above and beyond and got me back on the road in no time. I really appreciate Mike's help He's the owner. Mike is a master mechanic. I am also a master mechanic, so I appreciate it when I find an honest,quality mechanic and I want to let everyone know.

Went in for motor mounts replacement which I was quoted to be a four and a half hour job by another business and Taflans said they could do it in one day. So I put it in their shop and halfway through the day got a phone call saying it was going to cost me over $800 when their labor prices were $105 an hour. Needed my car so I paid the price. But then today, asked about an a/c recharge and they said $180 and then came in a few hours later, to have them tell me that it was going to cost me a "couple grand" to fix it. Went online to find out that it SHOULD COST LESS THAN $700 LABOR AND PARTS!! Had to pay $156 to get my car back BUT WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE BACK TO THEM!!!

I ve been going to Taflans for about 10 years. Mike is honest and very competent. Always gets the car running in a reasonable time. My boy bought a car he fixed from him and he never had a problem with it. He s been around for a long time for a reason. Absolutely, a bunch of professionals. Mike, the owner, was a generous and great guy. Jerry, a mechanic, was a great recommendation. And Doug reassured me the professionalism that their shop represented. Great guys! Mike told me he could help me with my jeep as I was passing through from California to the east coast. Within the same day, within 2 hours, and some great pricing I was back on the road and ready to continue my journey. Thank you guys!

Mike and his team did a great job working on our truck. He diagnosed the fuel pump and repaired it in a few hours and got us back on the road. I ve worked on cars and motorcycles for almost 20 years and my father was a mechanic, and I felt that Mike was reasonable, trustworthy, and seems to enjoy his work.

Sooo happy I came here and got my overheating problem fixed without any fuss or drama. Mike Taflan was great explaining it to me step by step before and after, (I like to know). Professional and courteous; being a woman, and a senior, was not a disadvantage here. An added bonus was that he is $12 to $22 lower per hour than the other mechanics I dealt with. It's a refreshing change AND I'm back on the road again, with money left over. Go there!

These guys are helping fix damages done to my vehicle as a result of another local tire shops mistake. Great service, obviously knows what he is doing. Take your vehicle here for honest repair work. 6/5 stars all the way.

Helped my 25 yrold on a trip from CA to TX. Fixed AC and replaced battery. Ethically minded and professional. Didn t take advantage of a pass thru customer he may never see again. We appreciate his help and fair pricing!

Check engine light came on, I was on a road trip with my son, and happened upon them. They checked the code and informed me it was a sensor that was wasn't vital. So I was able to get it checked out and fixed upon my return home.Honest, fair, and great customer service.

We brought our vehicle here for a transmission issue, best decision EVER!The whole team is so awesome! Very personable, friendly, asked & answers questions and comes in to conversate with customers like everyone is family.If we ever are in the area again, this is where we'll be stopping.

My radiator died on a road trip between CA and NM, and I stopped at Taflan's for a replacement. They ordered the new parts and had them installed within a day. Further on down the road, I popped the hood for a cursory oil check and realized the air intake cover was missing! Sure enough, it was back at the shop. After a few back and forth calls with the owner, Mike, he offered to ship me my missing part (it was something I could install myself) plus to make amends, he included a generous gift certificate to the store of my choice. Now THAT'S going the extra mile!

Had an issue on our way from Phoenix to Vegas. We were blessed to make it to Kingman and find Taflans. It happened right as they were closing on a Friday, but Jerry, Mike and his wife stayed after hours to diagnose and order the parts. Sadly the part wasn't available right away, so we left ther vehicle with them. They took us to a rental dealership and had our vehicle ready on our return trip from Vegas. Also had them look at a few other issues and they were very fair and honest. Thanks for making a stressful situation a little less uneasy!

After one of these 2 guys spoke with my husband on the phone, getting specific details of what was wrong with my car. They knew exactly what needed to be done and got us out the door by closing time. The front axles on my car were replaced. They even loaned me a cellphone charger while i waited. Thank you for hospitality from youe staff.

Horrible experience Mike the owner talked to my wife and quoted her some astronomical number for easy job talked to him he told me he was going to bring it down when I went to go pick up the vehicle all kinds of extra stuff that was done to the vehicle that didn t need to be done and of course he never called and asked permission to do anything horrible Customer Service and very dishonest from the beginning he thought he could get over on my wife if you re looking for honest mechanic work I would definitely not go here especially if you re a woman he will see you coming from a mile away and try to take advantage of the situationService: General repairs & maintenance

Mr. Taflan and all the staff there are always great. Get my vehicles in and out quickly. Mr. Talfan keeps the old parts and shows me why it needed replaces or repaired. I will be back many more times.

My daughter and I were traveling from Avondale, AZ to Las Vegas, NV, when our battery gauge went to 0! We made it to Kingman, and stopped at Taflans'. They got us in right away and on the road in 2 hours! Very grateful for the quick and friendly service!

Mike at Taflans is fixing all the problems that Russell's auto hooked up incorrectly. After Russell's installed a new engine and unable to get it to run properly.

Work is good but way over charges. I bought alternator and oil sending sensor next to oil filter, he charged $162 for installing, credit card. But he charged another $70 to install sensor!!!!!!?????

We broke down in Kingman on our way to California & Taflans' quality automotive got us back on the road within an hour! They were very friendly! Thank you Taflans' for saving our vacation!

Being a mechanic myself I knew they were right in there assessment of my vehicles problems, however after a few hours of being told parts are hard to get and pricing going up and up I realized this place is a parts scam.i got the parts myself and paid one sixth the price thay wanted. Knowing price and availability helps .Buyer beware.

Just broke down on the freeway, pulled in, and they didn t even have time to even take a look and see what might be the problem. Poor service.
