Long story short, I can t tell you how great Ron and Rhonda are. They went far and beyond, on a holiday weekend at that, to help us out and provide prompt and super service. They pretty much saved our vacation. Can t say enough good things about this business. My faith in the goodness of humanity went up a few ticks after my experience with these immensely kind individuals.

Our 94 Suburban broke down with transmission failure on a trip from Table Rock Lake, Missouri, to Page Arizona. The tow company recommended Big Rhonda's Transmissions.The service was outstanding! They started working on it at about 9 am. They had a 4l60e transmission in stock that they rebuilt. The quality of work is great, and they were thorough. Those ladies had us back on the road by 5 pm the same day. The price was very reasonable along with superior service.If there's anywhere to get your transmission fixed on route 66, it's Big Rhonda's Transmissions.

Super friendly and professional ! Deserves a 5 star Not only were we warmly welcomed after office hours but we have been helped beyond what we could expect ! Ron offered us hospitality, identified our problem and went out of his way to find a replacement piece to fix our gearbox issue so we could continue our adventure! He was so friendly and helpful that we were speechless by his kindness !We definitely recommend Big Rhonda s Transmission as a place to go if you have any transmission issues ! Doing a road trip from Houston to Oregon and in the middle of our drive our transmission went out. Big Rhonda s was genuinely a god send. Not only did they do everything they could to accommodate us, they went above and beyond as people to ensure that we were taken care of. I would seriously consider driving all the way from texas for all my transmissions needs for the rest of my life. Rhonda, Ron, and Sky know what they re doing and are such a great team. Ron and Rhonda aren t just great mechanics- they re great people. They were able to replace my transmission quickly and get me back on the road within 24 hours. They were also incredibly kind and helpful during my unexpected stay in Holbrook. It was really a lemons to lemonade situation thanks to them!

I apologize for my earlier review. I shouldn't have given a bad review based on second hand info. Ron and his wife actually brought my dog Otis home to me one evening after he got out of the yard. I know this isn't transmission related. But it goes to show what kind of people they are.

This place deserves 5 stars all across the board! My family and I broke down going through town and they took our car in very last minute and did absolutely everything they could to help us. I want to say a huge Thank you to Ron, Rhonda, and Sky( who I didn't meet but she works there). My sons truck was delivered to me in Nevada by a transport service from Oklahoma, as my son was being sent to Germany( military) to be stationed. It arrived not able to drive forward, but only in reverse. So here it has sat for 2 yrs not being driven. So I was referred to Big Rhondas by Darren, the owner of Kustom Kolors, here in Pahrump. Explained everything to Ron, had it delivered to them from Pahrump. They has my sons transmission done in no longer than 3 days. Drove out to pick it up and Ron and Rhonda took the time to show me what the so called mechanic had done to totally destroy the trans even more than the damage it already had. Got in it and drove it back home with no issues at all., with Ron even called to check on my drive home to make sure all was good,( the tires are pretty sun damaged and partially bald).They did go above and beyond and made me very appreciative that they fixed it. They were very helpful in explaining and just all around great people who own a great shop that actually cares about the quality of their work. Runs great not to mention their shop is so clean never seen any shop like theirs, and I can not forget the dogs who are so cool and nice. SO AGAIN, THANK U GUYS A MILLION for caring about your customers. Please don't ever change the way you do things.

By far the best company i ever used! I blew my transmission and they got a new one installed quicker than I thought possable. They gave me a great deal and went above and beyond. On a road trip when our newly serviced Accord's splash guard began to fall off, scraping down the highway. It was like audio waterboarding. We had no way to get it off and after trying another auto shop in town and being told to "come back in two days," we went to Big Rhonda's. The difference in service, attitude, knowledge and kindness was night and day. So wonderful, in fact, I started crying. They are Good People and although I live in Albuquerque, when the time comes for my Silverado's transmission be replaced, you better believe I will travel to Big Rhonda's. STAY AWAY! I've never seen customer service so horrible! ESPECIALLY YELLING IN FRONT OF MY FOUR YEAR OLD WITH EXPLICIT LANGUAGE! Ron I know you are overloaded with work, but that should never transfer to you being extremely rude to customers. Especially in front of children... I appreciate their HONESTY. Seems what I thought was a transmission problem, they discovered it was actually afront wheel bearing problem. They suggested a local mechanic, which fixed my problem. I highly recommend BIG RHONDA'S TRANSMISSION

Good quality work and cleanliness noticed right away with the thread holes cleaned out and no dirt, grease or grim anywhere with a nice paint job ! Answered all my questions I had and gave me tips for install and how much and what type of fluid to top it off with ! Thanx Ron and Rhonda can't wait for the street build on the C6 for my sons Torino !

Great service! Clean shop. They really know transmissions. The rebuilt transmission upshifts and downshifts exactly as it should.Update: It's been over a year and better than 12K miles since the transmission rebuild. It still works just like new.Service: Transmission
