I cannot say enough good things about JM's Automotive repair! We had major car problems en route from Denver to Mazatlan, Mexico. We decided to stop in Green Valley, Arizona and have the car looked at. THANK GOODNESS we selected JM's Automitive Repair! The car had some major issues which could have delayed our trip more than a week. Chris took this project on with great tenacity! She ordered all the parts, expedited the shipping, did quality repairs, didn't rip us off and had our car finished 3 days!! The car drives like new! I highly recommend JM's Automotive for any Automotive issues. Thank you for keeping us safe on the road.

Very good shop. The manager, Chris, communicates very clearly. Fair prices. I m a snowbird from Canada. I was recently asked who recommended JM s to me. The answer is nobody. I discovered their business when taking my dog to a groomer who had a shop very close to JM s. I ve taken my car there for oil changes and more significant work ever since.

Took the ol beater in. I knew she d need some special attention, and they sure met expectations. The 04 runs nice and smooth. Absolutely exceptional mechanics. Never take your vehicle to a big corporation.

It is too bad. that JMs Aoutmotive Repair They don't have a 10 star review if it was. I will give 10 star. as you walk in Christina greet with a smile and help you. You can see her kindness and understanding. and put you at ease The service was excellent. The shop worked on my Porsche Cayenne And. Everything works perfectly. With reasonable prices. Their technicians are trained and very professional. If you're lucky take your car to this mechanic shop. You will never be sorry, just do it. And you don't have to worry about anything they're honest and professional.

JM s is the first shop I have gone to in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area. They took care of our Land Rover which has been a headache. The team is skilled and efficient. They are fair with their pricing, which didn't break the bank. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service and reasonable prices. New to the area so I was a little nervous finding a new mechanic. You can call me crazy but I usually just use the dealership service center. However, now that my car is older (above 115k miles), the dealership doesn't care much about it. I called the day beforehand and they took in my Volvo the next day. The Volvo is not an easy car to work with. They did amazing. Our car actually felt more powerful than it has in years, the funny smell from our AC is gone with its whistle, and we're off to a much much better week than expected.Work done: Replaced Radiator, compressor, oil change, and cabin filter.Satisfied: YES. Set the appointment time right at 7 to get a simple oil change done on my vehicle. They took my keys immediately and got right to work. The nice lady named Chris at the front desk is very welcoming, and helpful. Never had a bad experience previously, and don t expect any in the future.

I had struggled at another shop to get my van diagnosed and repaired so it sat in my driveway for 8 months. I called and Chris got me scheduled. They took their time diagnosing and communication was great. They made the major repairs and I am finally able to use my van! I'm taking all my cars there now for everything. I apologize in advance for the lengthy post, but if you're taking your car here, you need to know.I took my car in for a free oil change from a raffle I won, I bought tickets for a fundraiser. I was traveling next day and needed this done before. They were gracious enough to work me in, Thank you.About 30-40 min after I left car I get a call from them letting me know my front brakes needed to be replaced, brake pads, rotors, all of it, for one low price of $490. I'd had them replaced in May for about $280. Needless to say I was concerned. Because I was traveling following day, I told them to proceed with brake replacement. I asked my husband to call and he told them to stop brake replacement. While he was on phone with them they asked him where wheel lock was to remove tires. First thing that comes to our minds is "how did they check brakes to tell me they needed to be replaced if they hadnt taken off tires? I mean they were precise in how many millimeters.They tell my husband it was brake pads that needed to replaced, but couldn't replace the brake pads without doing rotors and everything else, whatever that involves. Their reason: they couldn't change brake pads only because they only had equipment to change everything out, related to brake replacement.I was livid! How are you going to tell me I need to pay almost $500 to replace my brakes when they really did't need to be replaced? I guess because I won oil change in a raffle, for fundraiser, they would charge me $500 to make " some" money off of me. That was the first one.They told me oil change included checking all the fluids and topping them off. The brake fluid was low the coolant was low, something else was low and there was corrosion on the battery cables. None of the fluids were topped off and none of that was communicated to me. They said they did check and top off fluids.They attempted to make it right by offering us a free oil change or returning to have fluids topped off. After the brake debacle, and attempting to upsell me on something my car didn't need, I no longer trusted or believed anything they said.Beware before authorizing any service with JM's Automotive. Get second opinion. I will NEVER take my car there again, I dont care of it's free. "Lo barato te sale caro." Never again.Small towns, word of mouth is primary form of advertising. You guys blew it with me and now I feel obligated to let others know so they don't have same experience.

Chris the manager always makes me feel taken care of, and secure that my car is in the best hands. Just got 4 tires on the car! She looked for best deal for my budget and current needs. I gave my grandkids her card and said if anything happens while out driving have the car brought here! I keep the card in my car just in case. They are trustworthy , efficient, and fast. I feel comfortable I am being taken care of like family. Many of the folks that work there, I recognize from years ago. It is good to know they have loyalty, that says something about a workplace, now!

I bought a used car in Phoenix and did not have it checked out before I bought it. I trusted the private-party seller. As soon as I drove back to Green Valley, I called JM's to make an appointment for a post-sale inspection and an oil change/tire rotation. The owner, Chris Gentry, is very knowledgeable. She impressed me from the start. I knew from other reviews here that she offered good service at a reasonable price. She did the post-sale inspection and noted for me a couple of things that would need maintenance over the long term. In the short term she said I needed to replace serpentine belts. That's all. In the past, in other cars and in other cities I have been held captive by service shops that told me that I needed a lot of service before the vehicle would be road-worthy. It's my fault for being too trusting. Now, I trust Chris to be very capable AND very fair. I don't have a way of comparing prices for her services, because I haven't been to any other garage in Tucson or Green Valley. I will continuing JM's Auto Repair for BOTH of my vehicles here. Thank you, Chris.

Chris has a great crew there. I had AC Charged and Rear Brakes all rebuilt. They treated my 92 hot rod with great care. Prices are very reasonable as well. Delivered on time.

My air bag light came on after my car was broken into in Denver. The thieves used a big rock that smashed through my driver's window and hit my passenger door on the inside. I've only lived in Green Valley for a few months and wasn't sure where to go to get the air bag light fixed. After reading many reviews I decided on JM's and glad I did. They diagnosed and fixed it quickly--(the rock hit the door with such force it unplugged the air bag). They were very reasonably priced, knowledgeable, professional and honest. I definitely recommend JM's Automotive Repair!

Chris and the extremely knowledgeable team at JM's never miss a beat! They are timely, affordable, and if by some random chance they can't get you in on short notice, they will literally give you names of other businesses to work with. Awesome customer service! These are one of the extremely few, if only mechanics I trust to take my care to. Now mind you, it's just a simply 2015 honda civic, but considering I live in Three Points, and drive to Green Valley everyday for work, I absolutely NEED this car.Christine at the front is always present, kind, courteous, and gets straight to the point as to what's wrong with the car. They don't try and sell me some story that 20 different things are wrong and that I need to spend $5,000 or else my car will die on the road within the next 48 hours lol. They give me a diagnostic run, tell me exactly what needs to get done, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. They are extremely easy to work with, and I trust my car in their hands.It also helps that they are right next door to my job so I can drop my car off before I clock in, and pick it up by the time my lunch break rolls over.

JM's Auto Repair is a 5 star business! I took my 2004 F350 to have a door lock re-installed after it had been removed and otherwise damaged by a thief. Chris was exceptionally helpful in getting me a quote and then completing the work on-time, in accordance with the quote, and in a highly professional manner! I highly recommend their service and I will definitely go back to them for future repairs!Service: Auto body & trim repair

A terrific experience at this auto shop. Our water pump went out during a trip to Green Valley on the day we were scheduled to start a 1400 mile return trip. Chris got us scheduled, fixed, and on our way. And for a fair price too. If we lived in the area, this would absolutely be my "go to" shop. Kris is the best!!!! I ve been coming here since I moved to GV. Besides being the nicest she is the most competent & I highly recommend Kris & her team for all of your auto repairs. Btw my battery just died & she was there in 2 minutes to solve the problem. Fortunately I was just at PT when it happened. They are now changing engine battery & key fob battery. What a lucky break. Right???

Fuel leak on 2006 Silverado 2500 HD diesel. Diagnosed as return fuel line chewed by pack rat. Had to remove bed of truck to find leak source.Fixed and at very reasonable cost.Highly recommended. Thanks Kris and guys!!

I made an appointment and dropped my car off for diagnosis of an engine miss and check engine light. Two days later I was advised that I needed a replacement engine due to a bad head and worn cylinders. They had lined up a used engine with 60k miles on it with a 50k mile warranty, installed was going to be "looking at close to $8000".I couldn't justify putting that into a 18 year old car with well over 200k miles on it. After negotiating down the over $500 diagnostic bill, I had it towed for a second opinion. Bottom line, it had a broken valve spring retainer. Now I'm back on the road, running as good as ever for about 1/10 the initial estimate.I was also disappointed to see how they generate such a high rating via Google reviews. A sign next to the register offers a $10 gift card in exchange for a 5-star review logged on the spot.**Edit in response to JM**I mentioned that the engine overheated, then began ticking (only to give background info). I had already replaced radiator and thermostat when you looked at it; the issue was the tick/miss, not overheating. Additionally, I don't care how you diagnose an engine miss, but if it's going to be over $500, that should certainly be made very clear up front- and I would have declined.

JM's saved us from a major transmission job we didn't actually need on our 2009 Chrysler Stow & Go Van. They also did a bunch of other things we did need at a reasonable price, and the car is now driving and handling great. This van is crucial to my ability to travel around the area with art work I love to do. Not sure I can replace even it with all the smaller SUVs around today. Hopefully JM's work will help us add another 50,K safe miles to our van's current 90K mileage over the next few years. It's scary and expensive to need major work on a car you love that's not still in warranty and we've all been taken. Not here! Christine will make sure you've got the straight scoop on your car's needs, options, and repair costs, and owner, Jim, and his mechanics will do right by you. JM auto repair replaced my water pump and replaced my transmission fluid. They were good at diagnosing the problems quickly. I got a very competitive quote and they did the work in one day. Everything is now perfect with my car. I've used JMs Automotive almost since I moved to Arizona 14 years ago. That's because from the beginning they proved to be honest and very service oriented. My latest example is when my battery gave out (Arizona summers are very hard on batteries) and Christina got me in the same day. After an amazingly short wait, my car was ready. When people talk about car repair and wonder where to go, I always tell them "JMs." They really deserve their 5-star ratings.Service: Battery
