Title: Disappointing Service at Firestone Unjustifiable Warranty Denial and Rude BehaviorReview:I recently experienced an extremely frustrating situation with Firestone that I feel compelled to share. After purchasing a new set of tires from them, I noticed that one tire kept losing pressure every morning. Given that the tires were new, I assumed that this issue would be covered under Firestone's warranty service.When I visited the store to address the problem, I was met with an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. The sales manager on duty not only was rude and dismissive but also tried to charge me an unreasonable $35 fee just to re-examine and reinstall the tire. This was shocking, to say the least, as I had anticipated a standard warranty process for a clearly defective product.The manager's attitude was condescending, and the attempt to refuse warranty service was not only unjust but also a breach of customer trust. It's unacceptable for a reputable company like Firestone to handle warranty claims in such a manner, and the behavior of the sales manager reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.In stark contrast, when I visited another Firestone location, the staff there rectified the issue promptly and without any additional charges, affirming that the problem was indeed covered under warranty. Their professional and courteous service starkly highlighted the inadequacy of the service I received at the first location.This experience has significantly diminished my confidence in Firestone. While the second location demonstrated commendable service, the inconsistency between stores and the initial refusal to honor a legitimate warranty claim are troubling. I hope that Firestone addresses these service discrepancies and ensures that all their staff are adequately trained to handle warranty services with the professionalism and respect that customers deserve.

Terrible customer service! Booked an appointment online but because it was never acknowledged the rep refused to help me. I would've understood if they were completely booked and had no availability but the way he went about it was horrible. It almost sounded like my arrival bothered him so I ended up calling another location and they went ahead and took care of my oil change. So definitely do not recommend this location.

New Charger, first tire replacement. Two wheels damaged by Firestone Goodyear. Appointment on May 4, 2023 has all paperwork indicated no damage to wheels or anything else. Upon picking up vehicle small chip on front drivers side wheel, rear drivers side wheel has damage in center of wheel which appears to be caused be lack of clearance on their machine. When confronted about damage the response was insulting and denial was all that was received. Hard to understand when the pre inspection notes no damage but magically a set of wheels with 15,000 miles on them are now damaged. This could not have been caused by a curb, pictures attached speak for themselves. The lack of accountability, horrible customer service and sheer lack of professionalism has led me to not ever bring anything I don t want destroyed to a Firestone location. I wouldn t have this company work on my bicycle. I typically don t leave reviews but this has opened my eyes and I simply want to warn other potential Firestone future victims. Do you homework, read the reviews and if I was corporate Firestone I would quickly get this leadership team/management either trained properly or walk them out the door before your reputation is further harmed by horrible work, damaging customers property, disrespecting and insulting customers among various other complaints mentioned in the other reviews. If I had the option to give zero stars I would as I personally feel 1 star is giving this location too much credit after the experience I had.Service: Tires

I stopped by because the tire light came on. Jordan was the technician who helped me. He answered all of my questions and I appreciate how he was pleasant, professional and prompt. I will make an appointment at this location to get work done based off of his professionalism and demeanor.

The issue I have with Firestone service centers is the way they include warranty premiums and not present those charges as optional. I purchased 2 tires from them and had them installed. Buried in the list of charges was Road Hazard Protection which was 16% of the cost of the tire itself. This is nothing more than insurance on tire failures. Fine if you want it, but if you don't, they'd prefer you don't know it's in there. I was never asked if I wanted it. It was up to me to find it and question it. I didn't see it until I got home. So I bought tire insurance I never wanted.

I had an appointment at 7:30 AM to install new tires. They weren t finished until 3 PM only to realize they installed one of the tires backwards. I told them and they talked to me like I was stupid only to go look at it and see it was put on incorrectly. It took an extra 3 hours just to fix one tires. After that I noticed they had chipped and scratched both of my wheels. I told them and they said there was no possible way it could have happened, but I took before and after photos, they didn t look like this when I brought it in. Please if you read this never go to Firestone.They are extremely rude and do terrible work at an insane price.Service: Tires

Brought truck in there for oil change and tire repair etc easy stuff. A month later truck has a check engine light on, oil cap is gone and just a little bit of oil in the engine. That s one way to get customers to come back, sabotage them. Manage wasn t much help either, if you go here for service, plan on taking it to a real shop afterwards to verify the work was done and you get what you re paying for. Nothing like paying for work that wasn t done.

Friendly staff who were willing to talk and explain repairs AND were open to just chat in a friendly matter. No profanity, friendly to each other. A lot better than two other Firestone Centers that I have been to in the Phoenix area.

Recently had low pressure warning in two tires. They saw me right away and topped off the air in all four tires free of charge. Even better- super friendly customer service. These guys are the best!

Paul (at Store 330295): was so chauvinistic and degrading I was shocked by my experience at this location. When I asked about any discounts or promotions on oils change since I had an appointment, he response to me was: You know, I really DON T know, (laughed) and I really DON T CARE. The conversation only went downhill from there, to the point I walked out. I was the only customer in the Store. He was so angry and verbally aggressive, I wasn t comfortable waiting for an oil change and windshield wiper replacement, and very confused why this person was working in customer service and so angry towards women. I took my business to Store # 784294, they put on new windshield wipers for me, were very nice and professional. If you can avoid this location.

Do not get youre alignment done here because if you don't purchase the package for a year alignment adjustment for 200 something dollars and only get a one time alignment then drive off their shop only to realize that they didn't fix the alignment issue they will charge you for a new alignment. You can address that they didnt corrcet the problem and They'll say they don't care. go anywhere else but here. they do not stand behind their work and will charge you a second time to fix their error. Another fraudulent tire shop! Better places to go than here!

Took my Jeep in to have a nail removed from my tire and rotate the tires. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00. When I arrived, I was asked if I would wait or come back after the service was complete. I stated I intended to stay because I wouldn't think it would take very long. I then asked how long it would take. The attendant said "we are pretty backed up, and it would take 3 to 4 hours." Pretty backed up? it was 9:00 in the morning and I had an appointment. I told him I would wait because I had another appointment at noon. At 11:00, the attendant told me that one of my lug nuts needed replacement. I agreed. At 11:30, the Jeep was still not ready, and no one was actively working on it. I asked the attendant and he said they were waiting on the lug nut from another store. .... really? a tire place that did not keep lug nuts on hand. I asked how long it would take to get them, and I was told it wouldn't be long. At noon, I asked if I could take my Jeep to my next appointment and return when the lug nut arrived. Firestone agreed. At 3:00 I received a call that the lug nut had arrived. I went to Firestone and had it installed. This story is not over--The next morning, I went out to my Jeep and noticed another tire was low and had a nail in it. At first, I thought... what are the odds? I then realized it was the same tire. Firestone rotated my tires but did not remove the nail. I had to take my Jeep in again. Same attendant didn't remember me from the day before and didn't seem to concerned. When I recapped the situation and said they didn't remove the nail, his one question to me was... "did they at least rotate the tires?" .... odd question,.. sounds like this might be normal for them.

Appt for oil change and coolant flush. Kept vehicle for 5 hrs waiting on a filter. Was never notified of delays. When arrived to pick up car was not charged for coolant flush. When asked why I was told it wasnt done. Again asked why and was told I don t know, they just didnt do it. I dont work back there . Terrible customer service. I will not return in the future.

Been here twice and been let down both times. Waited four days for a tire to come in from another location. When I got here, the tire wasn t here. They never contacted me to tell me. Then they tell me that the tire doesn t exist in the state after making me come back again. Definitely will not come back here again.

Well I went into see how much it was to have my thermostat changed and flushed And he would NOT give me a quote until he did a diagnostic test and charged me $118.00 I explained I had 2 diagnostic test done on it a few hours earlier and both said same thing....He refused unless I paid him$118.00 First....So I asked him what his flat rate labor charge was to do something like that and he refused again unless he did one and charged me ...I explained to him how am I supposed to k ow if I can pay to repair it and diagnostic if I don't have a quote HE SAID AND REPEATED HIM SELF SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE COULD NOT HELP ME THEN AND SAID I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU......WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SEVICE IS THIS? WELL I WILL NOT BE FIXING MY CAR HERE AND THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ...P.S. WONDERFUL! Entire staff was great. We got a flat on our way to California. Called a few other locations that were giving us 90min wait times. This location took us in right away and had us patched up and on the road in an hour. Thank you to everyone! Wonderful customer service.

This place sucks, no management at all. When you call the place they answer by saying "one moment" then I was placed on hold and then hung up on.There are over 250 other tire stores in the PHX area, I will all one of them!

i was driving to work and almost lost control on the freeway. my wheel felt very wobbly and my tire light was on, i wasn t sure why. Maritza was able to help me and got me back on the road to work quick! we identified there was a large screw in my tire and she was able to get it patched and fixed! i m so lucky i found this place and was helped by such a kind young lady! i would recommend this place to anyone!Service: Tires

I got into my first accident and Progressive sent me over to them. They completed the job before the insurance rep. was able to come out and see the damages. Turns out they used the most expense parts and Progressive did not estimate the job to cost so much so I had to pay over $1000 out of pocket given that I was unable to get most of it covered by insurance.

GO TO A DIFFERENT FIRESTONE - I'm a long time Firestone customer. This review is about this location only on Pebble Creek and McDowell, as I have been to many Firestone locations and this is the only one that has treated me poorly. I purchased top of line 80k mile warranty tires from this location. I was so poorly treated then, that I refused to go to that location any more and have been going to a different location not too much further away since. 25k miles later, my 80k mile tires are about worn out. I figured the easiest way to deal with the warranty was with the same location. Without even looking at it, they refused to honor the warranty unless I could prove I rotated them every 6000 miles. No proof, no warranty. I do rotate every oil change but my oil change interval is more than 6000miles. Further, they are wearing perfectly evenly. I was about to swear off all Firestones but decided to give the one down the street a try first. Other Firestone, looked at the tires and honored the mileage warranty no hassle. They even suggested that I would be happier with a different tire that was less expensive because it was better suited for my type of vehicle then the super expensive ones that Pebble Creek location sold me. Go to Firestone, just not this one.Service: Tires

Each front tire had a variance of 3 pounds, as were the rears. That is a lot, but I can adjust that. Shouldn t have to though. Customer service is absent, nary 5 words spoken. I m okay with that, but a thank you would have been appreciated. Tires didn t fall off after 20 miles, and that s all that matters. 3 stars for that! This review is for Pebble Creek Pkwy shop.

When there to do a full review of what s going on with my car and they did a great job and answered my questions. No I did not leave with a high ball price I paid about 50 and only was told to replace a light bulb and the cabin filter and a few other little things. Over all I m happy with going to them because I like the way they understand I don t understand car talk but got me to understand what I needed to get done and told me what is a priority

Highly impressed with this location's employees!- I was a walk in customer, needing a wheel alignment before driving back home - out of state.They were very polite and willing to squeeze me in at end of day - they even sped up the process due to me needing to get on the road ASAP. (thank you)Maritza totally went above and beyond to make it happen.I wish I could remember the mechanic who did the work on my vehicle - but he was so kind and thorough.He sat with me and explained all details regarding my alignment - and even gave me paperwork to take back home to my dealership.I was so blown away with their kindness - and professionalism.The manager was really upbeat and friendly too.10/10 recommend this shop!THANK YOU AGAIN!!!Service: Wheel alignment

Made a appointment for an oil change and alignment two weeks prior to going on a Wednesday morning. They said the appointment would take an hour maybe two so we decided to wait. The appointment took four hours because they over booked and over promised. Not only with us, but for others needing service. Too much work for the staff they have and they couldn't keep up. They never told me that they couldn't do the work, but the communication to how long we had to wait and how long it would take was vastly overpromised. I purchased a lifetime alignment with them over a year ago and based on their service, I don't care to ever go back.

Do not even bother coming here! Waste of time.. went for a simple oil change in the morning, the manager is sitting down up front at the computer and waited about five minutes before addressing me (only customer standing in the lobby) and he tells me it ll be a 4-5hour wait to do an oil change, even with about six technicians in the back. So sad this place has gone downhill since the previous two managers left
