I've lived in Phoenix for over 50 years, and I've been to a lot of auto shops. The following are the things that are the most important when shopping for an auto repair shop to bring your car to.# 1 The owner and employees must be honest# 2 They must have full knowledge of all vehicles# 3 They must charge a fair price. Not the cheapest, and certainly not the highest.# 4 They must do the work quickly and efficiently# 5 They must stand behind the work they doI was referred to Ramseys Auto Center, in Glendale, AZ, from someone who had been going there all of their lives. They've been in business since 1977.I wish I had found them back then, but I'm glad I found them now. I'll never go anywhere else, and I'll also let all of my family and friends know about them.They deserve to be honored and rewarded for the way they do business.It's a rare thing these days.Thanks to everyone at Ramseys Auto Center.Allen

Had a hard time finding trustworthy mechanics, but I have used Ramsey's several times and they always give me the best price and service! I have referred several others who have also used and returned to this place because you get an honest answer every time. Super professional and fair, no sneaky tricks to try and hike up the bill with unnecessary services or repairs, and they get my car back on the road quickly. Thank you Ramsey Auto Center!

I was having issues with my car, and I didn't have much confidence in local service centers - so I turned to Ramsey Auto Center. Wow! The entire team at Ramsey did a great job. I made an appointment for an oil change about a week in advance. I showed up and they got my car in on time and I was back on the road in 50 minutes. I needed a new air filter as well, Larry showed me the old one and asked me if I wanted to replace it. As dirty as it was the only answer was yes. I have been to Ramsey Auto Center three times now and they always do fantastic work. Entire staff is friendly and effortless to deal with and are always happy to answer my questions and work around my schedule.Their mechanics are old school guys that are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Exactly what you want. Their work is top notch and repair estimates have all been spot-on.I originally brought my 20+ year old car in thinking it was probably on its last legs but it feels almost new again after just a few visits. I consistently prioritize safety by replacing my tires just before winter, as I know that summer asphalt can accelerate tire wear. I was surprised when I scheduled my appointment this morning, and they managed to fit me in within the hour for a tire change. After a negative first experience, I thought I would give this place a try in hopes of a different end result. That did not happen.I contacted them to see if they could help with a transmission issue I am having and explained in detail what I know and what friends had suggested for possible fixes. No one has diagnosed or even looked at the vehicle for what could be the real issues and whether it can or cannot be repaired.The reply "Hello Stacey! Thank you so much for reaching out. We can absolutely take care of this for you. Would you like to bring it in on Monday?". I stated I would need to know more information before committing to anything. The reply "Haha. I wish I could give you more info but that s almost impossible without seeing the car. Thank you for your time and good luck with your vehicle endeavors. God bless. ". I simply wanted to know how much the transmission fluid exchange and filter replacement would be. More information like, what is the diagnostic cost, etc.I know they could not tell me what was wrong with it without looking at it but to flat out shut me down without any information being extended, what pretty much enough to allow me to say it is not even worth it. Two seconds to ask what I was wanting to know seems to have been too much to ask for. I have checked with another place and they had no issues explaining what they would do to diagnose the issue, the cost and that if I went through with repairs, the diagnosis cost would be applied towards the repairs. Pretty simple, right? Sometimes convenience location only as they are only open 8-5 M-F is not the best answer when simply trying to resolve an issue and concern.Reply - You did not mention anything about diagnosing the vehicle. You simply wanted me to bring it in without my knowing what you would be doing/charging. You did not mention the diagnosing being free or an oil change either. This is you doing damage control. Your response time after my reply at 10:06 am was at 10:09. I replied at 10:13. You did not even look at the reply until you saw the review which is when you decided to respond on Messenger and providing an excuse of a family member being in the hospital of which you did not mention in your reply here. I was not expecting a reply until Monday when you would be open again. As I said in Messenger, perhaps a family members well being and in the hospital should take priority if you are not going to be able to respond. I know you can't do anything with a vehicle until looking at it first. I was not born yesterday and obviously understand this as I have had the vehicle for 17 years and have incurred other failures. She is old and reliable all of which was shared and up front.

HONEST SHOP!!! We took our daughters car in for AC compressor replacement and for new brakes. They told us over the phone there were two different AC compressors, a less expensive one and a more expensive one. They wouldn t be able to tell which one we needed until they looked at her car. Once we arrived, and they entered the VIN they told us that we needed the less expensive one. They didn t have to be honest, but they were!! THEN . I thought she needed new brakes but they called and said that her brake pads front and rear were in excellent condition. The brakes only needed some additional grease which they added at no charge .Once again they didn t have to be honest. They could ve sold me brakes and I would ve never known the difference. They won my ongoing business and I will shout their praises to anyone that will listen! It s super hard to find a trust worthy mechanic shop! Look no more .YOU FOUND THEM!!

I want to thank Ramsey Auto for hiring a gem of an employee "Larry". I was told about this auto service by a wonderful AAA driver (Jason). I took my van for an alignment at a shop that specifically does alignment. They couldn't do it because of my van needing bushings (upper arm) and breaks and rotors. I got a quote from the alignment shop but was weary, because I just had my vehicle serviced at the dealership with a 26 point inspection. I couldn't afford the $179 wheel alignment from the dealership. I called Ramsey Auto and Larry answered the phone. Even though I wasn't his customer yet! He listen to me and gave me great advice, which I followed up on.Thank you Larry, you saved me thousands of dollars because my vehicle is still under warranty you had me take it back to the dealership. I will be coming to Ramsey Auto for my other vehicles.By the way, the dealership wouldn't even give me a ride home or pick me up to get my vehicle, they only offer a $10 Lyft coupon.

The guys here really went above and beyond. The day before my appointment our ac went out and anyone in Arizona knows that s a negative. After realizing the extent of the issue they worked swiftly even going as far to allow to technicians to work on my vehicle to ensure it would be done by the end of business day. Then when it was ready they sent someone to pick me up so I didn t have to walk back. I recommend this shop to any and everyone. They really make you feel human and not like a check. Had the cam sensors replaced in my 2008 Nissan Xterra. Larry was a gentleman who was straightforward and communicated everything that needed to be done to my vehicle. It was an expensive fix but Larry worked with me on the price and I really appreciate it. My truck is running strong thank you Ramsey's Auto. Ramsey Auto is Awesome!! My car was overheating and I had taken it to someone close by because I did not want to have it towed. Big mistake!! After more than $1000 worth of work my car was still overheating. I finally had it towed to Ramsey Auto where Larry and his crew figured out that the air in the cooling system had not been properly removed. They could have easily started replacing expensive parts, radiator, water pump etc etc. But Larry researched the bulletins from Nissan and found the problem there. This says mountains about the Professionalism and Honesty Ramsey Auto showed me. I was only charged for the tests that were performed while trying to figure out the overheating problem and my tow bill. Thank You Larry for being a Professional and Honest Human Being. People like you are certainly Few and Far Between!! And special Thanks to Network Alignment for recommending Ramsey Auto to me!! The customer service was excellent. They kept me updated almost everyday about the work being done to my vehicle. I gave it a one star because the mechanic handling my car didn t handle my vehicle with care. I didn t notice until the following day the damage done to the bottom of my bumper. I take care of my vehicles and I don t appreciate someone else just damaging it and not even having the good will to let me know what happened. Of course I didn t even bother to notify the shop because I know they are just going to deny it. Always make sure to check your vehicle before and after you take it to this place.Service: A/C installation & repair

Aye I have to give this place sooooo much credit! How kind and professional these guys are! You guys help me figure out every problem I've had. I had a breathalyzer installed and these guys know the ins and outs and have the patience! Without a doubt this is my #1 place to get all my cars worked on and recommend them to everyone! We have taken multiple vehicles to Ramsey and have had a wonderful experience with each visit. Everyone at the shop is knowledgable and friendly and they have consistently followed through on their word. If there were ever an issue they always make sure to make it right. They even went as far as to take our vehicle to emissions for us after fixing it due to our inability to get off work in time to do it after completion of repairs. They have always went over and above for us and they are the only shop we trust to touch our vehicles. We are blessed to have a place we trust to take our vehicles for repairs and recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Larry at ramsey auto is amazing and Mike they are fast and efficent . Larry always make sure that he check in with us about everything's with our cars.. Been going there for 2yrs . I RECOMMEND 100% FOR QUALITY REPAIRS. Ramsey has great mechanics never had to take any of my cars back after the work was done. Secondary the always have my car towed the same day.. I wont go no where else.

I needed 2 tires replaced on my car that was towed there over night. I had run over something on the highway and it flattened my tires. I have never used this garage before. It was close to my moms house and I read reviews. I spoke with KC first and was told they would look at my car. Then Larry called and gave me a quote. I went and picked my car up. Larry was so friendly and nice. And the price he quote me was just a little less can t beat that. Although I had to have my little car towed. It was a blessing in disguise because I have found a good trusted garage I can take my little Fiat to and know she will be in good hands. Thank you LarryTresa with eyelash car

Honestly best shop in the valley. They were able to diagnose what was going on with my expedition and fix my air conditioning!!! Since the day after I drove my expedition off the car dealerships lot my Air conditioning would blow out all the coolant and blow hot, I spent tons of money at other shops replacing lines and fans etc and never did it ever fix my problem,so for 6 years I have delt with these issues ... Taking my expedition to Ramsey was the best choice I ever made - the guys took really good care of my car and not only does my AC work but my car runs better then the day I bought it! No Cap

Triple A brought my mother in laws vehicle in and said they would do a discount to get it repaired there. After we got a quote of nearly 1k for just a radiator and 2 hoses we told them we would like to pick up the car. Then charged us for diagnosis even though we had already told them what we needed done. They rip people off. Not even the dealership quoted us that much. Definitely will not ever recommend anyone to these hustlers.

I have taken my car to them a few times now. Their service is great. If I had to leave my car overnight, they gave me a ride home. They seem very honest about what is wrong with my car. I feel pretty safe in knowing that I'm not getting ripped off. I think this is one of the best auto shops I've been to.

My 2015 nissian titan was failing emissions due to p0456 code which is very small leak in evap system. I try finding the leak my self and keep failing emissions. Lonnie from network alignment Recommend ramsey auto center said he's been doing business with Ramsey for years .Mike from Ramsey auto center told me about a emissions program called v.v.p where state cover a thousand dollar Towards the bill.Ramsey auto center performs a smoke test and find my leak and replaced evap hose on top fuel tank . They passed my truck thought emissions and check engine light has not came back on .no pending codes .I will be recommending Ramsey auto center to anyone looking for a Honest mechanics. Could not be happier big thank you to Mike and the guys at REMSEY AUTO CENTER.
