We decided to try somewhere closer to where we live now, although we ve been super true to our place for almost 5 years, we needed something closer for convenience so we went in for an oil change that was scheduled, it was a long quote time and they were busy, they still had great customer service. Got a call prior to the oil change being done that several things were wrong and had concerns of us on the road if we didn t deal with it soon, and sent photos and with ALL the work they needed to do it would be done same day still and honestly a pretty reasonable price! We may have ran into a defective piece (it happens) with that they still had excellent customer service with the handling of it. Couldn t be happier with a first chance trying them, we will be sticking around. Sergio and Keith were great!

Really disappointed with my recent visit to Kerry's. Just wanna start off by saying the customer service was fantastic and it always has been. The guys up front are awesome and really make you feel like a valued customer. But the work done on my vehicle fell short this time. I got a full fluid flush that included brake, coolant, rear diff and transmission fluid performed on my Mustang for around $600 and immediately after I brought it back home I started noticing a puddle being left under my vehicle at home and at work, really anywhere that i parked for more then a minute. I first thought this was A/C condensation but it certainly was not after smelling it and seeing the color. My vehicle never leaked a drop of anything prior to this service so I visited a nearby lube shop and they told me that my transmission check plug was finger tight and leaking actively. They were able to tighten it for me and clean up the undercarriage. That being said I assume my transmission was overfilled if it was consistently leaking from my check plug. It's been a few days and it no longer leaks, thankfully, but i will be visiting another shop to double check the work and to make sure the levels are correct. As good as the customer service was, I cannot confidently bring my vehicles to a shop that cannot remember to tighten a plug or double check their work after a simple transmission drain & fill.

Had work completed several weeks ago and several days ago my chack engine light came on.They checked it, believe they found a valve that wasn't closed right in the gas return for the emission system. Tightened it and reset the code. The light went off no charge we'll find out when we make another 50 MI

The guy I spoke with on the phone told me he would assist me if I brought my car down quickly. As soon as I arrived the jerk behind the counter said that I would have to leave it over night and he wouldn't even touch the car for less than 170 dollars. Terrible service and terrible attitude. Sundevil auto is right up the road on 51st ave and peria and they are awesome.

Held my car hostage for almost a week for a same day repair. Lacked communication on what was going on with repair. Two days in to repair I get a call saying they are changing what is being repaired and ordering a different part. Was told not liable for time spent on incorrect repair. Picked up vehicle on day 4. Presented with a bill for over $1100 which itemized labor for incorrect repair and that part. Presented current VALID coupon I received in mail and was told by Cody that he wouldn't honor it because he had to "eat" the cost of correct part. So I pay for their error? I had an alignment done and a coupon for it but was afraid mention it as I was just shot down on using the other coupon. I guess the customer pays for Kerry's Car Care mistakes. I am thankful that the mechanic identified a critical repair needed for rack & pinion steering assembly. I'll be taking my business elsewhere to perform the $2400 repair.

The quote was absurd and over priced, but my larger issue was that it took 3 days to diagnose Spark Plugs and Engine Coils and the price was around 3000 dollars. When I arrived to pick the car up the car would not start. The electrical system was not connected and the engine cover was gone. The car would not start of course. The staff inside was relatively friendly I suppose, they were however more interested in defending the company than acknowledging the all time bad service.

My experience has been less than desirable. I towed my dad's vehicle, asked for an inspection on electrical problems, acknowledged to them of other issues but asked to concentrate on electrical. After 2 days was told the engine was the problem, even though vehicle was working fine when towed. Electric issues were not addressed, paid $201.00 for the diagnostic, the car was left with all screws disassembled, asked to put back and it was not done. My dad did not speak English, when got to tow, showed the crew one spark plug left out and screws, they laughed and that was it. Shame on the location and the crew, bunch of scammers, that do not represent the values of the old Kerry's business.

Kerry's car care and systemic racism in there automotive repair shop located at 4312 West Olive Ave in Glendale Arizona. This shop certified Technicians were very negligent with there inspections and they were negligent with the alledge repairs. Repairs, this shop could not and would not show me a receipt for the automotive parts that they bought with the money they charge me for automotive parts they install on my car. This shop mechanic and the people in charge of the shop, they never listen to what my concerns were. Like the front end shaking when I apply my brakes to slow down, a noise underneath the front end, this shop said that, I needed front suspension struts and coil springs assembly. These parts had nothing to do with my front end shaking when I applied the brakes to slow down. I had an inspection at a shop that do front end and brakes work on 10/4/2023 and the shop said that I needed front control arm bushings, and struts were never mentioned. I had another inspection at a dealership; the inspector at the dealership never said that the struts was a major problem. The dealership inspector said that the front control arm bushings was the problem causing the noise problem, and the bushings on the sway bar connected to the coil springs were bad and they need to be replace. The front end shaking was due to the bad brakes pads and they needed to be replace. This is negligent from Kerry's car care and negligent from the certified inspector and also negligent with the mechanic. There were no true safety concerns for me and my family. I am a disabled senior citizen. This is a serious problem, this is systemic and structural racism, this is not about racism as words said in a haters of race, kind of way, but this I society and it a structural behavior that is deep in our country, the norm, with the Jim Crow mindset deeply embedded in this country governments and society, so mostly it is a racial behavior against negros colored people and other ethnic groups, also some white people are caught up in this systemic and structural racism. Truth, The Most High God believers must call it as it is.Kerry's car care is using systemic racism in their shop against me a senior citizen and a biracial couples we and my wife are..Truth. Refund me my money, your shop was negligent and not truthful...

I will not return, I went in with a throttle body problem. Went in, $1613.25 later the problem still wasn't fixed. Looked closely at the receipt and was charged for things I didn't approve. Always read before signing anything. They had my car for 2 days, lost income cuz I needed my car for work as they knew, and another mechanic had my car for an hour with fixing the problem for under $300. I will not return

This is not a review I wanted to write because I enjoy writing positive reviews. This one is negative. In the past year or so, I had a few excellent experiences with Kerry s Car Care on 67th Avenue and Deer Valley, and I expected the same this time.About two months ago, I brought my car in because of the strong odor of gasoline in my garage. At that time, I was told that only the seal on the fuel pump needed to be replaced, but not the fuel pump itself; and I paid Kerry s $411.50 for replacing the seal. However, that did not solve the problem of the gasoline odor; so I brought the car in again on September 12, and this time I was told that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. I paid Kerry s $588.75 for that. After driving away from their lot, I noticed that the fuel gauge was not working. So, several days later, I brought my car in again. They repaired the fuel gauge, so I believed that the problem was finally solved. It turns out that the situation with the fuel pump is much better than before, but the repair was still not done properly because after I fill up the tank, there is a very strong gasoline odor in the garage until after I drive the car for about fifty miles in order to use up a gallon or two of gas. This should have been a routine repair, but Kerry s tried three times and still did not get it done right. This has been a time-consuming nuisance; and, to add insult to injury, I paid Kerry s a thousand dollars for what should have been a routine replacement of the fuel tank pump. Frankly, I cannot help feeling that I was overcharged.Even worse, when I went to pay for the fuel pump replacement, the invoice showed $928.75 for replacing the direct injection high pressure fuel pump. I bet that practically none of Kerry s customers know that there are two fuel pumps -- the tank pump and the high pressure engine pump. Had I not been aware of the difference, and had I not brought this discrepancy to the attention of the employee who was taking my money, Kerry s would have charged me for the expensive high pressure engine pump when only the tank pump was at issue. It was only after I questioned the invoice, that the employee changed the invoice to reflect the correct tank fuel pump. Frankly, this did not make Kerry s look good at all. Finally, Kerry s charge for both the pump seal and for the fuel pump was about $60 each more than my BMW dealer charges retail for the same parts. That, too, left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife and I have three cars, and we have brought all of them to Kerry s for service. We like the looks of the place, and we were treated well until now. We would have liked to continue to do business with Kerry s.We all know that the success of a car repair business depends on its reputation. Satisfied customers will give continued business as well as very valuable referrals and recommendations. By contrast, an unfavorable review on the Internet could be very costly.I explained all of this in an email to the General Manager, Matt Mercer, asking what he could do to help me to feel like a happy camper with Kerry s again. Unfortunately, he never responded and even refused to take my phone calls. This is not the way customers should be treated!Carl Goldberg

They completely left off all my exhaust bolts . Never bolted up the brake lines, and also put a used gas tank on my car when we more than clearly told them numerous times we wanted a new one . Was supposed to be a one day job and took two weeks. Do not use this place!

This was a terrible experience. Keith was rude and not helpful at all. I brought my vehicle in to diagnose the mass airflow sensor which has already been replaced with a Nissan official part. He assured me that their engine checker was better than AutoZone. I told him the issues that autozone told me was wrong with the car. 4.5 hours later he calls me to tell me the same codes I already know and to tellMe the exact same thing that AutoZone said. His solution was a third party part is not compatible with Nissan vehicles when I told him that it is not a third party part (proving they didn t run a full diagnostic) he said oh well maybe it s a faulty part then we don t know when I went to pick up my car I asked why I was being charged $200 when they didn t do anything I didn t already know. He said because we did the diagnostic like we said to which I replied you said you would find the problem and a solution to the issue, and your solution was wrong because you didnt find the right problem he went quiet and didn t have anything to say. I paid for my vehicle to get it back and will absolutely never be coming here again. It s a shock that you would train/hire employees that like to scam people without giving any sort of value at all for a service. Stay away from this place and if you go here I am sorry that they are scamming you and strongly suggest finding another place.

Will try to charge you as much as possible. They try to charge $190 before they even touch your car even if you know what s wrong already and just need them to replace the parts. They will tell you Just do it yourself then, you seem capable enough. , and hang up. If they can t charge you more, they don t want you there.

I was very pleased with the service I received especially from Sergio who waited on me. He recommended an alignment since I just had 4 new tires put on, but there was a concern with the left control arm. He followed up with my warranty company to see if they could repair the problem for me. I appreciated the extra time he took to get the job done right.

Jason worked VERY hard to get me my free replacement anyway!Jason also made certain that everything was electrically testing good before I left the shop.Thank you Jason, and thank you Kerry's, for ALWAYS taking such great care of me and my vehicle!

I would give zero stars if it was possible. I dropped my vehicle on 10/11/2023 which is a 1994 For explorer with Jason Telling Jeff and I they guarantee Kerry's car care will get my vehicle to pass emission's. While my vehicle has been in Kerry's car care, I was told I would receive update calls on any repairs needed or emission testing which never took place. I had to call Kerry's car care every time just to get the run around. So now I pick up my vehicle on 10/31/2023 with my emission even higher then when I brought my vehicle in, Also I was over charged for parts like $61.71 for a gas cap,$99.95 for a ignition lock cylinder, $89.96 for a ignition switch which was not hooked up properly, which I was told it was gonna be done so I didn't have to use the push button start anymore. I was also charged $77.75 for spark plug wire set and $95.70 for six spark plugs Granted THIS IS A 1994 FORD EXPLORER. So $1,783.73 later I have a over priced repair that wasn't even done properly to pass emissions that I WAS TOLD IT WAS GUARNTEED TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and used certain OME parts that I did not approve of without knowing coast, do to lock of Kerry's car care calling me like I was told. I was told there was a smoke test done and they said there was leaks but no emission hoses where replaced.

Normally I have good service here, but today was different. I have a prepaid oil change package. Today they charged me for an oil drain plug w/o talking to me. I came in with a plug, they are the only ones that I've ever had change the oil so..... I guess when my package is done, I will be too.Services: Tire rotations, Oil changeServices: Tire rotations, Oil change

The quality of work is good, but the price is unreasonable, I would not recommend Kerry's Car Care to anyone. For a third of the price Kerry's will charge you, you'll easily find lots of mechanics that will give you the same quality repairs and work.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

I used to take all my vehicles for oil changes here due to the convenience of their location. I have two business vehicles, and my personal vehicle. I'm 100 % convinced that they do not change oil on vehicles or that when they do, they don't do their job correctly. One of my business vehicles had an oil change last month, today I received a warning of low oil on that same vehicle. There is no leak on that vehicle. There is no reason it shouldn't have any oil, other than they didn't do their job during the oil change. Prior to this incident today, On Thursday, May 12th I took my truck in for an oil change in preparation for a trip to Payson on Friday, as I drove back from Payson my truck began to smoke like crazy on the highway. I pull over and realize there was a large amount of oil all under my truck and now on the ground where I pulled over. To my disbelief, the oil plug was gone/ completely missing. This only occurs when the plug is not tightened with the bolt correctly. I was now stuck on the side of HWY 87 needing a tow all the way back to their shop with hopes that my engine was not ruined. They looked at the truck and did the oil change again. After the incident today with my business vehicle, I don't believe my truck or any of my vehicles were properly handled. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, DON'T TRUST THEM. There are hundreds of good Auto Shops around, go somewhere else. I'm no longer concerned with the convivence of their location.

The mechanic never worked on my car, this was a warranty job too! I spent $1500 for a tuneup, was having an issue, so I brought it in. The mechanic informed the desk, "The key doesn't work for the car" and my car sat there all day. He was trying to open the door on THE WRONG CAR and decided to blow my repair and my whole Saturday off. I made an early morning appointment the day before. Un believable! So many lame.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

I am not confident, after my vehicle spent 6 weeks in the shop trying to uncover the reason it was overheating. The thermostat, fan, and regulator were replaced. Only for the problem to continue. At this point I have already voiced the opinion that there was nothing wrong with those parts. Maybe because I'm a woman, my opinion fell on deaf ears. AFTER 6 weeks, it was discovered that the wiring was fried. I asked why, as a person with an electronics background, why that took so long to figure out, since they knew both ends of the system were functioning properly, how no one tested the wiring between them. Again, no answer. Of course they feel justified in charging me another $800+, on top of the $400+ I'd paid on my first visit for the thermostat. So I was out of a vehicle for 6 weeks, $1200+, and life-threatening advice after my first visit. Yeah, not happy. Will not be returning.Service: Engine repair
