Bought a new transmission for my 2017 Silverado, from a company in the midwest. They recommended this shop as one that was close to me.They were much less than many other places and these guys did a great job. They were fast, very friendly and of course did a great job.I have other vehicles I'm going to be bringing to them. But as someone who's seen many mechanics that overcharged and did a bad job, I'm glad to say that I highly recommend for several reasons.

This is the best, most reliable, and on time shop I have ever been to. I have had the best service for my truck in Arizona. Even moving out of state, I wait until when I come back and visit and have them work on it.

Bruce and Mike are really good. Any car troubles I have they are able to fix it at a good price . This is the best shop around. There is a good reason it has 5 stars. Bruce is an amazing mechanic and a good and honest man. My family has been taking our cars to him for 20 years now and he is always fair and honest with us. He's never going to over charge you, scam you or make you feel like you're stupid. Any time my car has an issue he takes the time to explain to me what went wrong, why it went wrong, and how we can fix it.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Took my 67 chevelle in after taking it to a few guys that ended up messing it up. They got it back up and running again! they took care of me, very reasonably priced! We have a few vehicles and we take all of them here regularly for oil changes and normal maintenence. It doesn't matter how big or how small the job is, the qualility of work is exceptional. They are fast, accommodating and very trust worthy which is hard to come by these days. Prices are cost-effective & reasonable.

when I first moved to Phoenix I had no idea where to go for my vehicle as I had driven it from the Midwest over 2000 miles and was in desperate need of service! I went to brakes Plus and they immediately quoted an insurmountable amount of work done and over $1,000! I didn't nearly have that kind of money my sister recommended desert winds I met Bruce and I have never needed service from anyone else! Bruce has nearly become a member of our family because that's how he treats you! He is honest and his work is 2nd to NONE!!

Absolutely Amazing Customer Service!! I have never had a problem with Desert Winds. They are more than fair and always deliver. I have been a customer for 2 years and will not go anywhere else! Bruce is an honest man and has provided me and my family nothing but excellent customer service!

I had some warranty work done on my vehicle, Bruce was knowledgeable and very helpful, very easy to work with and was able to coordinate an appointment quickly and work was done in the same day. No problems or concerns, I am very thankful for his service!

i have been going there for a few years now! after my first visit i was hooked, i will never use a different shop! they are honest, quick and dependable. they do what is best for the customer, and their vehicle, my mom is very skeptical of different mechanics and she herself has chosen to only go to this shop! i promise you if you went to them you would make the change as well! AND THEY ARE NOT OVER PRICED LIKE MANY OTHER SHOPS!!!!!

The only place where woman are not looked down up.Bruce took off a faulty part showed me mine & then showed me what & where my part was faulty.I would recommend to everybody that needs an honest mechanic & good prices.Thank you Bruce & Desert Wind!!

I love Desert Winds....Mike is extremely knowledgeable and will tell you upfront what is wrong and what the repairs will cost. He then will let you decide what you want to get repaired now and what can wait for awhile longer. That way I didn't have to pay for everything at once, but I was able to get it all done at my own pace and budget. Thank you Desert Winds!!

These guys are busy ,because their good. Very professional, organized They don't have time to answer phones most of the time. They not only do what they say. They go beyond what they say there going to do.That kind of service is rare today.

I took my pickup to get an oil leak repaired.1200.00 dallors and four trips back to desert winds auto and the oil leak is still leaking and the pickup runs terrible.Mike suggested I have someone else check it out.I did. I took it to two other mechanics, they both said I needed a new engine.Why desert winds auto couldn't figure it out is beyond me.When I asked for a partial refund, mike said no and that he wasn't in the business of ripping people off.Well you could have fooled me.I have lost all confidence in Desert winds auto.They ripped me off.

I have been going to Desert Winds Automotive now since I moved to Phoenix in 2013. I don't know why anyone would take their vehicle anywhere else. In my lexus I had to change the rack and pinion. Every place I got a quote was $2400-$3500. Desert Winds got me back on the road for under $1200!!!! ThatsT over 50% lrss than the cheapest quote. They are also HONEST! YOU CAN'T PUT A PRICE TAG ON THAT. Make sure you take your car into Desert Winds Automotive for your next oil change or repair. IpromI pr you won't be disappointed.

I went in with two concerns about my automobile. They had my car for 4 hours and reported back there was nothing wrong, and no bill. It is so rare to find this kind of integrity in auto repair. I will be back

I transported a customer's vehicle and they tipped me for putting it away in a safe place and taking such good care of it something the customer will never see and doesn't have to pay for it
