On a Saturday I had to come in and yet 4 new tires and spent over $1500. I asked about a front wheel alignment and was told I needed to put in a new steering box before they could do it. I went to my friend who's a mechanic and found out it was not the stirring box it was a loose pinionarm and we tightened it up. On Tuesday following that Saturday I went and got 4 new tires for my dump trailer and spent over $500 and that's what I asked about getting the alignment done on my vehicle. I was told the guy who does alignments was out sick. I called the next day to see if he was available and was told he was still out sick. I called Thursday morning and found out that he was finally in working and I told him I would be down to get my alignment done. When I get there I am told there are 3 vehicles ahead of me even though I have been asking 43 days to get my alignment done and having spent over $2000 on tires. I have been a loyal big o tire customer for over 20 years and they have disappointed me like never before. I regret buying my last 8 tires at big O tires. I do Thank God there was a break masters across the street from big o tires I went there got right in and got my alignment done with no problems take that into consideration everyone.

Horrible! Horrible! HORRIBLE!Will never go back there.Should be zero starsWent Wednesday to get oil change. Told me I had to come back another day. Couldn't do it Wednesday or Thursday. Showed him my coupon for $16.95. Told me to bring it to appointment Friday and they would honor it.Went to appointment and David told me I couldn't use the coupon. Had to pay either $34. OR $49. I told him I was going to report to better business bureau and he told me then he wouldn't do the oil change. I finually agreed to do the $34 oil change. After they pulled my car back he came into waiting room over 4 times wanting me to pay more. Told me I had to pay $5 for 1/2 can of oil cause coupon was for 5 cans & my car took 5 1/2 cans. Then came in 2 times wanting me to pay $75 for air filters. He wouldn't take NO for answer. Then came in another time wanting me to get over $400 of work done. Does this guy work on commission??After car was finished he said bill was $41.19. But my receipt shows he charged my card $48.11. That's ridiculous. $48 for a $34 oil change. No where on my receipt does it show $34. Charged $27.45 for parts, $9.99 labor, $3.75 waste disposal, $$4.02 for shop supplies and $2.90 tax. Why have a coupon for $16.95 if they are going to rip me off for $31.16. Very poor customer service. Fraudulent advertising and service.

I came in today because I had a flat tire on my car. Being a 20-year-old girl who does not know much about cars and is out in Arizona for school without my family, I was nervous to come in by myself. LJ greeted me with excellent customer service and came out to take a look at my car right away. He was honest and did not try to overcharge me or get me to purchase unnecessary services. He spoke with my dad on the phone to explain what he would recommend and got my tires ordered to be delivered within a day. I appreciated his help even more because I came in very close to the time they were supposed to close, yet he took his time and was willing to help me even if it meant sacrificing him getting off of work on time. My car ended up having to stay over night at the shop and while my ride was on his way, LJ told me he wanted me to stay inside and wait for my ride so I would be safe (this caused him to close late). He was very friendly and made small talk with me while I waited. He was just genuinely a nice guy who wanted to help. 10/10 would recommend coming here for car issues, and LG is your guy!

The service was okay. I was a little annoyed that they kept me waiting for over 2 hours just for an oil change and there was hardly anybody there. Plus, like any other mechanic shop, they ll try to convince you that there s other issues with your car and it s important that you should get them fixed just so they can make a buck. Also, I don t appreciate the employee who kept coughing in front of me without covering his mouth. Are people forgetting that COVID still exists?

The coupon they send out did not work for me according to them. However the coupon never stared that and their for I paid more. That's a downside. Service need to improve as I know that my vichle need some things. But the never mentioned them. Whihc leads me to believe that their 21 point inspection is never done or they are slective to whom they do it for. I left and my car still needed coolant and wind shield wiper fluid. They did took care as a walking.

I'm new in town It's a clean comfortable organization the manager Phil provided fresh coffee and a comfortable waiting area.The oil change and courtesy check was performed by Bradley with friendly and professional service.They are happy to receive promotional coupons and its best to make an appointment because its a very busy shop. thanks alot

In both of my visits the mechanics forgot to put parts back on my vehicle, my first trip the mechanics disconnected my EGR system and vacuum hoses were laying down. They also stated they did an inspection and my vehicle was only having an issue with the left boot being ripped. A few days later my vehicle was running horribly and shaking, I called and scheduled an appointment. By the time I was able to make it 10 + days after the service the mechanics at Pep Boys reattached my hoses and also noticed a cracked motor mount where my engine had started shaking. They also did not reattach my air filter Housing (Which was broken open) or its bolts. One of the guys also busted his finger up and I assisted him medically, they still charged me full price for an oil change and did no alignment or rotation. I felt so bad for the mechanic, nobody paid any attention to him and he sat there being told to wait and that he was fine. He has major damage to his nerve in his finger and told me he still has loss of sensation . Luckily one of the guys decided to take him in his own vehicle to the hospital. That occurred on December 29th.The second trip after I had a mechanic at Pep Boys diagnose and reattach the hoses and my air filter to my vehicle the manager at Big O Tires offered to do another oil change free of charge, I stated to him do not touch any filters please leave everything as it is because of what happened already. At the end of the oil change the mechanic brought to filters out and even though it was clean and new 16 days ago it was covered in black dust and they told me I needed to buy another one. I left the shop after everything was finished and the mechanics called me stating they had my air filter still. This is the most unprofessional shop and service I have ever received in the state of Arizona. I frankly believe them disconnecting my hoses contributed to my cracked motor mount as well as other issues due to my EGR system being disconnected. I cannot express my frustration any more than I have. I am very disappointed.This is by far the worst review I have written for Google Maps, sadly I will never return to this location.I routinely visit Sears for my oil changes but due to their store closures I gave Big O Tires and opportunity. Last month Sears replaced my air filter and inspected my vehicle, yet somehow a boot became torn and an EGR system became disconnected, and my air filter became filthy. I called at 7 am if they had any availability for an oil change today. Was told yes, that it would be about a 2 hour wait. Arrived at 7:30 and asked again for an eta, was told I would be out by 945. At 10 am, I asked if everything was ok with my car. The guy at the counter laughed and said my car had been moved at 9:15 am to the bay Area, but they won t get to my car until another 3 or more hours. Got a ride to go to lunch at 1015. Came back at 12. Was told they still had just made several new appointments and they were ahead of me. Finally finished at 305 pm. I asked why I was quoted 2 hours when it took 8.5 hours. Was told that they had taken several online and over the phone appointments since I arrived at 7:30 am and that I should have phoned ahead. I asked why did the new appointments take priority since they made them after I had arrived, was told they have priority. Would not recommend

They awrvices my vehicle in a timely manner. Best of all they were honest about their services and what needed done. They did not try to pressure me into doing all recommended services and were honest about timeframes in which those services should be complete. Their building/waiting room was very clean so it made it comfortable environment to sit and wait. I'll will definitely return.

Rude! Walked in to get my tire checked since light just came on and this location was close. He asked for my #, not is his system because I didn't purchase from their location, was told I need go to the location that I purchased tires from. No worries on his part to make sure there were no issues with my tire.I thought Big O tire had a "Nationwide Limited Repair Warranty honored at 1200 Service Central Locations". Apparently 51st & Peoria location is not part of that 1200.Maybe they need to take notes from Northern & I 17 location. They will take care of anyone anywhere.

((Untrustworthy)) 3 years ago I had a bad experience with thier service. But now 03/31/19 I decided to to give this store location a second chance. I dropped off my truck for a routine oil change and tire rotation but one thing I do before dropping off my vehicles is numbering each tire with a sharpie pen. After paying my fee I walked out and noticed that my tires were still not rotated so I walked back in to ask why? They told me that the tires were too low on air...so I told them to air them up and that I would even pay the difference since I had already paid for the full service. Then the guy in charge told me that the tread was too low so we both walked out to my truck to inspect the tires. He was totally silent looking at my tires as I told him that they were in good condition with plenty of tread. I told him that in my profession of 15 year's as a truck driver it is my job to inspect my tires for safety on the road ...so I took my truck to the boys at Discount Tire Co. and was told that my tires were at 11/32 tread depth with years of life still left in them. Besides being cheated by BigOTires was the fact that they were actually going to allow me to just simply drive away trusting them thinking that they had performed all services that I paid them to do. If the lies that BigOTires told me for not rotating my tires were true...it would mean that they would have let me drive away with tires that were endangering my safety and the safety of others on the road instead of warning me or offering me to purchase a new set of tires instead they were more interested in saving time to crank out more vehicles by skipping services and thus making more money from innocent unsuspecting victims. These boys at BigOTires on 51st Avenue and Peoria ave cannot be trusted. I included photos of my tires so everyone can see all the good tread they have and not the lies they claimed and I also included a photo of service rendered after paying them which includes (tire rotation). Had I not numbered my tires they would have fooled me into trusting them that they rotated my tires and driven away and also destroying my tires. They pulled the same exact trick 3 years ago which is why I numbered my tires hoping that just maybe they possibly just had bad apples working for BigOtires at that time but this practice obviously still goes on at that store! I would avoid this store or at least keep an eye on thier service to make sure that they do not cheat you too! ((Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...shame on me.)) Well it's been three years since my last visit and thought I would try these guys again ...still rude and even hung up on me when I asked for more questions about some tires for my trailer. I'm not giving them any business but they deserve another honest review for customers to read...buyers beware.

Went in for an oil change and called them 3 times every time I called they said it would take 30mintues. Finally arrive and pay 40$ To discover oil on my engine and they couldn t even reset my oil light so I finally fixed it after putting 20miles on it.

Horrible service! manager is rude and not helpful at all. Was told I had a 3 hr. Wait & not a car in the bay!!! manager was just sitting on his phone when I walked in. Plenty of other options out there don't bother with this dump!

Almost two hours for a simple oil change is bizarre, never have I had to wait so long for this. Would have saved so much more time going to jiffy lube or elsewhere. Gave two stars because they were nice and offer free water and coffee

This shop is amazing!!! I read a lot of bad reviews and couldn't understand why?...so i decided to check BigOTires out for myself. I have a 2019 Hyundai Sonata and my tire size is 205/65 R16 95H, I spent hours searching up a good company with great tires at an affordable price and warranty and kept getting ridiculous prices from big companies. Well baby let me tell you I received outstanding customer service..superb workmanship by the crew...fantastic tires..a great deal and some funny jokes . Victor Diaz took very good care of my car. The tires selected were Aspen GT-AS...so far so good they sound amazing on the road and they feel comfortable on my car as I am driving. I was in and out within an hour!! Great work BigOTires love you guys

Bought the 3 year alignment plan. If you ever have a 'curb check" you should bring your car here. They recommend I come in every 6k miles. It's included in my price so yes please sign me up for maintaining my suv. Thank you for being so helpful

I took my gf here as I had had good service here for years. She got 4 new tires on Monday. On Thursday 2 of the 4 tires popped. Got the car towed to big o and was told she ran over something.. no holes in tread and the tire separated from the rim. Rims scraped up pretty bad..And she had to rent a car to get to work . The new joke is we can't go more than ten mph around any corner or the tires will pop..I've gone to this store over many years...NEVER AGAIN. they should stand by their work and not sell the warranty. This was entirely their fault. TRUST ME SPEND THE EXTRA $ AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE ON EARTH!!.PEACE OF MIND IS PRICELESS!................. responded to the message below with pix and a phone number....no reply....also sent pix and this review to the phone number listed....no reply...this reply given by the big O robot looks great on paper but as of 8-29-17....no reply from any communication I've sent with receipts and invoices....as of 9-13-17 no response from anyone..as of 1-15-18 no response and the "New" tires loose air pressure constantly.

Experience was acceptional, however, employees that are on the job should refrain from talking about other coworkers and their problems in front of customers because it looks bad to others and may cause a bad review and loss of business for the company. It was acceptional because I came for an oil change and I got one.

I pulled my car out of the garage after reconsidering the price. I intended to use the super saver oil change coupon for $20, but there wasn't non-synthetic 5w-20 for my 2007 Camry and I would have to pay about $45 for the synthetic oil change. Wish it could have worked out with the coupon.

Scheduled an appointment online on March 17 for the 31st, I received a confirmation email for the appointment, good thing I called because they couldn't find me in their system. Had all 4 tires changed, guy told mechanic to check alignment and if it's not good then fix it, he says. It it's already 5:40. I think mechanic was rushing. When I left I got multiple errors about my traction control being off, and something about stabilizer. I called and since it's past 6, they told me to bring it back the next day. My husband brought it back and advised them about what happened, my husband was waiting for a while, I had to call and they said they completely forgot about him. Husband left and all lights came on again, so he went back , was told they might need to redo the alignment . I don't understand why they can't do it right the first time

Only reason for two stars is because they were very nice I was considering getting the work they recommended but I was first appointment of the day checked my car in 7 am and took back immediately and came out 8:30 a simple oil change is all. 1 hour and a half and nobody before me. No respect for anyone s time I could have saw a whole movie in that time.

This place is horrible. They took 8 hrs to put 1 tire on a rim that I dropped off. Then tried to rip me off by overcharging me . They changed their tune when I presented them with screen shots from the online transaction.

Came in for a brake inspection but dude just did everything to not check them and just gave me advice instead if you advertise brake inspections why not just inspect the brakes instead and see if you can find something needs to stick to being just a tire place but even then discount tire does a better job at that :)

My wife and I have been taking all of our cars to this location for nearly 3 years. Victor and Phil are always very informative in what is wrong with our vehicles, the typical reasons for the issues being presented with the vehicle, and the different price options. The customer service and quality of work is fantastic. Always a pleasure dealing with these guys. Keep up the great work BIG O!
