Definitely don't use they have had my car for a month. Gave me different times to get my car and then the car is not done the parts not in the builder is in Mexico then they can find part and now they don't have a builder and they are sending it off. Too a different shop.... not worth the 4000 I spent not at all.Update. 4 /12 rocker panel has a gorgeous hole in. Messed up my lug nuts by not taking them off with the proper key and smashing what ever socket u felt like putting on it, at the same time completely scratching and removing the chrome around the area where the lug go's. By far worst shop ever ! Supposably lost a whole transmission, failure to finished their job when they say they will be done, lack of communication and are very racist & rude! Not to mention giving back a false core when the truck was brought in the shop with upgraded transmission parts. There are better AAMCOS this one is an absolute nightmare. Wish I could rate this place negative stars. Also they committed theft. Consider before trusting your vehicles here. *proof is available for this entire review* edit to response * the words lost when asking where the transmission was, was clearly used. You clarified on video you had lost the transmission. You have stolen property that wasn t yours to begin with. If this is how you treat customers I hope people consider going to a more responsible, respectful and organized shop. No one deserves this happening to them. Not to mention you are stealing a built and upgraded transmission for a stock. Very bad business.

Trash. They wanted to put an entire new transmission on my car for $4000 when all I needed was a torque converter replaced. They never even told me about the software updated my car needed either. Needless to say, they were trying to prey off of me thinking I didn t know anything about cars so I never went back. I got my converter replaced, software updated, and paid not even half what they wanted.

This Aamco location still continues to amaze me with their consistent service they provide. They always stand behind their work. I have always been treated fairly, they let me know what is needed, what may need to be done in a few months making sure my car gets the service it needs to it can keep me on the road with all of the traveling I do. I have been going here for about 10 years and will continue to take my car here when it needs any kind of service. I highly recommend them.

I was having trouble with my old hunting truck, it's a 1993 Chevrolet k-1500 and the transmission was flashing a little. They test drove it and went ahead with the premium service and after talking to the manager he told me that it was shifting okay and I should be fine, what a relief! I drove it home and it seems great! They are busy, which is a good sign for a shop, but it was done right on time. I'm going to drive it and hope for the best but I am thankful for a good, honest shop!Service: Transmission

We have been going here for about 12 yrs went thru all the owners from Kurt Larson on and never have we been dist like the newest owner claimed to call us back for a fuel leak didn't and we called again and were told can't get the part unless thru the dealer still claimed to call us back and never did our truck was repaired by another company and our loyalty to aamco is severed a fuel leak is something that can't wait

Awesome experience! We came to AAMCO after other shops failed to repair our car. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt cared for and confident in the team's ability to find the issues and properly fix our vehicle!A big thank you to John and Robert who went above and beyond to provide excellent total car care and customer service. Not only did their team find and fix the motor and transmission mounts that needed to be replaced, they also found and fixed a separate issue that no one else had been able to diagnose!Our car is now running smooth with no remaining issues. After my jeep was stolen and the transmission & clutch was completely trashed 1 call and AAMCO had a tow truck picked up my jeep and within a couple of hours they had it diagnosed and was already working with my insurance company. Very friendly a pleasure to have done business and will continue to use this AAMCO.Thank you again Kurt

This is by far the worst shop I have ever been to. I called prior to taking my vehicle in and they told me they were going to finish the job in one day and it took them 5 days to do absolutely NOTHING.They "diagnosed" the vehicle but another mechanic showed me the part they claimed was bad was untouched to be diagnosed.They wanted to add their own additional labor for a part they claimed is faulty even though it s part of a fuel pump kit that was already going to be replaced by my warranty provider.���Normally you would just pay for the extra part that s needed since it s already taken out of the vehicle because of the job already but they wanted to charge an additional 1200 just for the sending unit.However, they are very rude and unprofessional, they always seem to be in a rush to deal with a customer they can't even answer simple questions. If i were you I wouldn't waste my time or money with this company .

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We sent one of our transport vans to them for a transmission problem. They "fixed" the transmission and we picked it up and brought it back to our centera mile away. It immediately leaked out all the coolant into our parking lot. We called and talked to the owner who said, "what do you want me to do about it?" Very abrasive and rude he said to just send it back so he could look at it. Called back and said it wasn't his problem. I said, this van did not leak when we gave it to you and it poured out fluids when we got it back. It asked what I was trying to say and I told him I was saying it. We had a mobile mechanic come to our location and fix the issues. While we couldn't say 100% they caused this fluid leak, we asked for some consideration from the owner given our history with them and that we just spend over $3k. We asked for $350 towards the new repairs and the owner insisted he would not do it. Well, we have a new transmission mechanic for our 38 van fleet.

Took the car for a test drive after they fixed the transmission on my chevy spark and everything seemed fine. We paid and went back to the car to only find out the car doesn t turn on at all. They jumped it and we were told to drive it around for 30 mins to charge it. We did what they said then took it home and turned it off, tried turning it back on and the car does not turn on at all. Very frustrating.. can t even drive the car we just paid 6000$ to fix. Would not recommend!Service: Transmission

I had my oil/filter changed and the window rubber guards replaced. They did an amazing job! Not only were they quick but the people were really nice and I couldn't have asked for better service. I brought my Dodge in on Monday and I picked up my Dodge on Friday. Your service is fast and friendly and very knowledgeable. After dropping off my Durango for the 5th time for the same repair they called us to pick up our vehicle. They refunded our money and refused to complete the repair. Why? Because we filed a complaint with their corporate headquarters. Five times and over to months total sitting in their garage. They admitted that they never looked in the transmission to diagnose the problem, only plugged it into the computer end kept trying to blame it on a faulty censor. So if you want a transmission shop that has no clue how to fix transmissions, then this is your place! They deserve 5 NEGATIVE STARS!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair

My whole ac had to be replaced a tune up and a back window motor, I was ok with the price the work is always solid. Only complaint I have that I have never experienced with AAMCO was that they promised my vehicle date 3 times and failed to meet it. It took 2 weeks to fix my truck which again with ordering parts and labors I m not frustrated about. It was being promised last Friday COB then Monday COB then Tuesday COB I received it today Friday in the afternoon.

First off I want to thank John and Robert and his team for the excellent service. They were professional very friendly and super understanding. Long story short do not buy a car from New deal auto off of glendale and 47th Ave as vehicle i purchased needed a new engine within a week and told me go threw your warranty basically like o well not my problem so beware. But on the good side amcco kept in touch with me every step of the way. Once my engine got there they replaced it very quickly and professionally. I highly recommend them in you have any engine or transmission issues. Thanks again John and Robert's and all Amcco techs on 51 Ave and glendale.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

John B., Tony & Team at AAMCO 51st Ave. took great care of my car. They were able to take me in right away with a check engine light on. They kept in touch with how it was going and fixed the issue same day. Everyone that I came in contact with at the shop was very friendly and service with a smile. I will be a returning customer! My wife s car have been doing that hiccup thing for a while with a quick 700 bucks you were able to get back on the road. The car feels better than ever took a little longer because the car got dropped off on Friday morning. Got it back Monday morning, but all in all I m happy with the service.

Came here on a Sunday when no-one else was opened. On Monday I met with Justin who's a very nice guy. He gave me some options about my car and pricing. Answered all my questions,t explained the process thoroughly to me..and even helped me into getting financed to pay for my car instead of storing it till pay day. The team was excellent, great and efficient. The guys did an amazing job on my car. These guys took care of me, my car, my family. I recommend everyone to put your trust in AAMCO. You'll have an extended family for life.thanks guys.

We were referred to this AAMCO by locals, thankfully! We have had four vehicles serviced and a company vehicle over two years. All work has been completed to our complete satisfaction each visit. Justin at the front represents the shop flawlessly, personally attending to all of our vehicle repair needs. Stephanie is always aware, attentive, and helpful. Tony and all the shop mechanics are friendly, highly skilled, and hard working. Kurt is a complete professional who knows how to run the best shop going. It is not how they treat us that is so impressive, it's how they treat each customer with kindness and competence to keep people on the road in a safe running vehicle. The Best!!!

I took my car in Monday, because I was concerned about the transmission. After spending a few hours there (for which I was totally prepared to do). It was discovered I need to have the transmission rebuilt. Justin said it was good I came in when I did instead of waiting or it could have caused more damage. It took a few days to get the job completed and Justin kept in touch with me to let know the progress. Today I was finally able to get my car. They did an awesome job. My car has more pick up and go then it did before. I have been going to this location for over 5 years and what is great about this place as a women they do not try and take advantage of you. They are straightforward and letting you know what needs to be done and they do not try to get you to do work that is not necessary or needs to be done. They are honest and reliable. I will continue taking my car to them. Thank you Justin for the great Customer Service you and everyone provided.

I have been here a couple times and my experience has always been wonderful. They are honest and sincerely care out your well being along with your cars well being. Kurt at the front is very nice, funny, and beyond knowledgeable of everything. He did more then i could ask for today and made sure I left today with all of my issues taken care of. Stephanie at the front was also very kind. I called in and said I needed to come in asap and sure enough she got me in within 15 minutes no joke. Im am so happy with my experience today. This location has a great team. Thank you!

Kurt, Manny, and all of the other gentlemen working here at Aamco are absolutely amazing. I've brought 2 of my vehicles here, and they were professional and upfront about repair costs (parts and labor) both times. They also offer a financing option for the repairs- which I would have been lost without. Having that made fixing my major repair affordable. They do great work, and complete it quickly despite having a huge workload (because they're good at what they do!). They've even gone above and beyond their basic job description by helping me out when my car was running rough, and stalling. I merely asked them to check the codes, and what I ended up getting was a cleaning of some vital parts in my engine at no cost. It wasn't a lot of work, but their time is valuable and I'm incredibly thankful for such a small gesture from these guys. Now my beast of a car is back in shape- and running better than I'd have ever imagined!Beyond their mechanical service, they all have great personalities that don't make you feel like "just a customer." Every interaction I've seen between the customer and Kurt or Manny has been incredibly personable. They have definitely spent some time building trust and relationships with each person. They have created a very loyal customer in me, and I would recommend these guys to anyone.

We have been going to this AAMCO for years. We've had from everything from a simple oil change to a rebuild and installation of a transmission. Kurt and his crew have always gone over and beyond to take care of me. Especially Justin and Stephanie. Everyone there has always welcomed me, made me feel #1 and even at their busiest times they have found time to help me with my issues. I will continue all my repairs with Kurt and his team.

I cannot say enough good things about this Aamco location. Tony runs the front and he is knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Our truck was fixed for the price that was promised within the time-frame they estimated. This place is proof that good shops do still exist.

If you're looking for a great shop that will take care of you and treat you like family, look no further you've found it. The great staff here is exactly what you've been searching for. I took my Impala to them yesterday to fix my transmission and the staff there was extremely helpful and friendly, they fixed my car up at a great price and got me back on the road that night. Kurt that works there is an awesome guy he'll do you right, I highly recommend him if you have to ever take your vehicle to the shop he's a straight shooter and a great guy. I also took in my Titian in today to have some work done he got me in and out in an hour. Great shop great people. Check them out and I'm sure you'll agree this is the shop for you.
