Great overall experience! The shopping experience was great, the staff was very helpful too. The sales team was great. Marcus was very helpful and courteous. First of all, let me start by saying this, I love Volvos, I previously had an S40, now I drive a 2023 C40 and partner drives a 2011 C30.**This post is about the 2011 C30**In May 2023 Courtesy Volvo of Gilbert had the 2011 C30 for sale which I found strange because it was so old and had 108,869 miles Typically I would stay away from vehicles that old and with that many miles, however the service history on that vehicle was impeccable, the sales guy, Jeremy Horstman walked me through all of the repairs the car previously had, all repairs were done with Volvo and everything was documented, the one repair that caught my attention was the AC compressor, per the service history it was replaced in September 2022 at Volvo of Gilbert when the vehicle had 106,160 miles. Anyone living in Phoenix knows if you re gonna buy a used car you need to make sure the AC system is in good working condition due to the +110� summers so when I saw the AC compressor was replaced at the same Volvo dealership where I was buying the car from it eased my mind. We purchased the car on May 22, 2023 with 108,869 miles.Fast-forward to April 12, 2024 The car now has 110,500 miles . Made an appointment at the Volvo of Scottsdale because the AC was not cooling, it turns out the AC compressor is bad and needs to be replaced, the service advisor showed me pictures and it was very clear that the car had the original compressor as it was old and rusted, so it turns out compressor was never replaced as noted on the service records with Volvo. This is unacceptable and I need somebody from Volvo of Gilbert to make this right.*****UPDATE 4/18/2024*****On Monday, the Director of Operations for Volvo of Gilbert (Mark) called me to get clarification regarding the air conditioning issue and to discuss possible solutions to get it resolved. I'm not gonna lie...I was upset, frustrated and not afraid to express my disappointment in the Volvo brand, I did keep it professional but my tone was not something I was proud of, regardless Mark seemed to understand the situation and was very receptive to how I was feeling.Mark suggested I bring the car in to get a second look and see if the diagnostics from the other Volvo dealership checked out. Yesterday I dropped the car off to get it looked at; when I first arrived I wasn't sure how I would be received...evil stink eye or welcoming smile..... well.....I'm glad to say I did not lose hope in humanity lol the Service Manager (Mitch) was very courteous and understanding....After a few hours Mitch and I walked back to where the car was being worked on by the mechanic, to my surprise the A/C compressor did NOT look rusted (like in the picture) and it had a BIG sticker with manufacture date 09/2022...immediately my stomach dropped and felt ridiculously stupid, now because of the misinformation I got from Volvo of Scottsdale I looked like a crazy person trying to cause drama, super embarrassing.Now that the manufacturing date mystery was solved Mitch was still willing to help me figure out why the AC was not cooling, so I left the car overnight to give them more time to troubleshoot the cooling system.Unfortunately this morning I got a Call from Mitch letting me know that the mechanic confirmed the AC compressor was bad but to my surprise Mark, Mitch and Volvo corp got together and decided to make an exception to honor the warranty to get the AC compressor replaced. I'm very grateful to Volvo of Gilbert and I sincerely apologize for my assumptions.I have definitely learned a lesson today.. always get a second opinion before drawing up your own conclusion.

Recently we bought an XC90 from Volvo Cars of Gilbert. Jeremy Horseman made the process simple and worked with their inventory and our budget to help put us into exactly what we were looking for. I think it's safe to say I'll be a Volvo customer from here on out!

I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from a salesman named Jordan. He was phenomenal in finding the exact type of car I was looking for. He was thorough and knowledgeable of the specified car. Even when I told him that there was another competitor I was looking to potentiallyfinance with, he continued to exude exceptional customer service throughout the entire experience. He was never pushy or salesy which I appreciated. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new Volvo to go to this dealership. And ask for Jordan to help you!

Had a wonderful purchasing experience with Julie, walked in looking for the XC40 and left with a beautiful XC60. Julie helped with all our questions, which made financing such a breeze with Nelson. Definitely purchased the upgraded warranty gives us peace of mind. Thanks again Nelson! Shout out to Randy for dealing with our sarcastic humor. The Volvo Service team just saved my vacation! My credit card had slipped into a tiny crack in the center console & disappeared!! I leave for vacation tomorrow & couldn t go without my credit card. Within just a few minutes, they were able to retrieve my card & send me to vacation! Thank you to Mitch & Alex for their humor, speed, understanding, and caring service!

We spent several weeks working with Ross at Volvo Gilbert. He worked really hard on finding us an XC40 that would meet our requirements. After visiting the dealership, and meeting with Ross, Jeremy, and Nelson, we were extremely happy with our decision to lease from Volvo Gilbert. The team was low pressure and very professional. Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable with all the features of the car. The store itself is amazing, well equipped, and a service center where you could eat off the floor..:-). We highly recommend Volvo Gilbert, and if you re in the area, you gotta see the store!

Made an appointment to see a vehicle @1pm same day. Drive an hour to see the car. Sales manager claimed it was sold that morning, which may have been true. But they made no effort to contact me with this crucial information which would have made my two hour round trip unnecessary. They then tried to interest me in the same vehicle for tens of thousands more. This is the kind of bait and switch that gives car dealers a bad name. Unforgivable in this day of instant communication.

Buying a luxury car brand is not just about the car and it's about the end to end experience. I walked in to this showroom after some very poor and interesting experiences in a few other places. I was really pleased and impressed with how Kim and Timothy represented Volvo and their dealership. Their approach felt very consultative than pushing to sell a car. The end to end call purchase process as well as followup post the purchase was awesome. Their service coordinator Mike was also very helpful. Where needed the showroom manager also reached out to us to give us insights and confidence on Volvo brand.

Dealt with Ross Miller as my salesman. He does not know the meaning of customer service. He made multiple false statements around their oversea delivery program that we participated in. While he may not have been equipped with the knowledge to sell the program, I was more disappointed with his lack of communication and follow through.Also, when I picked up my car finally - there were oil stains of the driver side door and steering wheel.Gary, the General Manager, did his best. But received more continued lack of follow up from his service team.If you re planning on buying a luxury car and want a luxury experience, I would look at another dealership.

If I can give this company a negative star I would...My experience with Volvo Gilbert has been extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it to save others from a similar ordeal. I initially communicated with Sales Manager Justin Shannon, both over the phone and via email. Upon visiting the Volvo Gilbert office to explore an electric car that seemed suitable for my needs, everything appeared promising.We spent a considerable amount of time at the dealership from 10:30 am to a little after 2 pm. Initially, all seemed well as they ran my credit and provided an initial approval. I literally saw my approval on paper and they began to charge the car that worked for my deal. After about a few hours Justin walks up and says I need money down when the deal was structured with no money down. As I was disappointed about that I asked if they had other incentives and they lacked the urgency to check or do what ever to lower the amount of money down.It's like they don't care about selling you a car. We even saw a lady come in and walk out after they tried to low ball her on her trade. That should have given us a sign to walk away and not deal with them. With dealing with Salesperson Brandan Moriarty he seemed ok at first but the lack of communication from him saying he never got my text messages as well as him always sending me over to Justin does not make sense.. I felt like Justin ran this entire place. It's hard for me to trust people as not everyone should be a sales manager and I let my guard down with this place.With he situation taking a turn when the numbers changed after my credit check, and I had to sign various documents. Feeling uneasy about the sudden changes and hungry, we decided to take some time to consider the deal.The same day, I reached out to Justin and Brandon via email and text to inquire about potential missed discounts, receiving no response. The next day, I sent a follow-up message and received an unpleasant email from someone named Randy (Randall Watson). This encounter was quite discouraging. Despite multiple attempts to contact Justin and Brandan, no one responded, and I felt left in the dark.After nearly a few days of back-and-forth, accusations regarding my trade ownership, and wasted time and gas, I provided proof of ownership for my trade. Shockingly, I received an email, not a phone call, stating that I no longer had car approval with Volvo FS. This lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable.The fact that Nelson in finance and others would not address my concerns over the phone, passing the responsibility to Justin, further added to my frustration. The absence of a GM's involvement in this situation was puzzling, and the entire experience left me stressed and disheartened.It's disconcerting to have to chase down a sales manager or salesperson just to complete a deal. Volvo Gilbert lacks transparency, honesty, and effective communication. This was my first time considering a Volvo, and I regretfully cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. I value reviews, and I hope my experience serves as a warning to others, helping them avoid unnecessary stress and credit inquiries.

I m sure the finance folks don t get much reviews, but wanted to give a big shout out to Nelson Eger, Finance Manager. Most recently, I worked with Nelson to resolve a minor issue and he was very friendly, responsive and professional. I would recommend him all who are needing finance, etc. Thanks again Nelson!

I've had not one, but TWO fantastic experiences with Volvo Cars of Gilbert!!! Easiest car buying experiences of my life and would highly recommend not only the dealership, but also a Volvo to anyone! Both purchases were for my children who were new drivers at the time, so the confidence in the safety aspects of the brand was important. Ross was very helpful and made both experiences (one 2.5 years ago and the other earlier this week) very easy and pleasant.

This was our first visit with our XC90. Turning in the vehicle was easy, the waiting area is clean and fully stocked, we were given several different options of service, the garage bay is clean and visible to all, and they had it cold/washed and ready for us to leave quickly.We will be back for all future service appointments.

Stopped by there last week to look at a used Honda CR-V they had for sale. Less than a hour later we drove that car home! Jeremy and the team at Volvo of Gilbert were super easy to work with. Also, and this is key, no games or gimmicks. Way too many car dealers love to play games and this was a refreshing change. I highly recommend checking Jeremy out if you re looking for a new ride!

He gave me his honest opinion which is what I wanted in a big purchase like this. He also was like a big brother to my 5 yo son. Thank you so much for putting me in such a beautiful car! Do not take your car to this Gilbert Volvo! Last week the start/stop button on my Volvo S80 got jammed, leaving me unable to start my car. I didn t want to get it towed for a button so I ordered the part from Gilbert Volvo. When I dismantled the car to reconnect the new button I noticed they sent the wrong part even after saying they based it on my VIN number Okay, so now I have to get it towed to the dealership over a button I get there and the service department says it will be $330 to fix this, no problem. Later in the day I get a call back, telling me it will be over $900 dollars instead! How did they get those numbers mixed up? I started looking for other mechanics to take my car to when I m told regardless of whether or not my car is fixed there, I will still have to pay for their diagnostic fee. So I decided to avoid towing it somewhere else and just have it fixed there. Soon after, I called the service department to talk about the price change and asked if they waived the diagnostic fee. They said they don t normally waive fees but he would look into it for me and give me a call back. Which they never did After 2 days of no response I called the general manager to address my concerns. He told me that typically diagnostic fees can be credited back to people who have their car worked on at the dealership. He then said he would talk to the service department and get back with me. Which he ALSO never did A week goes by and not a response from anyone until finally this morning I get a call from the service manager, telling me they are willing to give me $100 in-store credit for my next appointment! Haha! I ll never take another one of my Volvo s to this dealership so their store credit couldn t mean less to me. If I could rate 0 stars for this experience I would Also, after a $900 dollar button repair and the dealers complimentary car detail they couldn t even reattach the steering column panel and left dust throughout the interior.

Where do I even begin! First off I ve always had problems with my Volvo. I just replaced the AC! I have to replace the battery at least once a year. This time my car just wouldn t start and come to find out, I needed a new ignition switch. So Volvo dealership is the only one that can fix that so I pay to have a tow truck come get my car. A week goes by, which by the way, who can survive without a car now a days. They don t call me so I called them and ask if they have started on my car. Which they told me they are still waiting to diagnose it. So a couple days later I called again and they say they re still waiting to diagnose it. They finally call me back the next day and say that s going to cost $1800. So I tell them that I don t have that kind of money just laying around so the guy said he would talk to his boss and call me back later. He never did. So I called the guy again a couple days later since he never called me back and he says they made a mistake and charged me extra for something and because I am in fact a student they can take $100 off so now my bill is $1300. He said they hadn t started on the car at all because they are waiting on me! The next day they call me and tell me my car is ready so I go to pick it up and I look at my bill and they charged me $200 for something that says tow truck. When I asked the guy what it was, he said that s the diagnosis charge. So I asked if take it off since I am having it fixed at the dealership. And he said it was his mistake and he would take it off so now my bill is a little over $1000 but he s guaranteed that everything was fixed now. So I drive my car away and as I m driving the 30 minutes home I realize my check engine light is on and my coin box is missing. I can t find it anywhere and I know I left it in my car, so not only did they steal from me, who knows maybe it s the car washers, but they also tried to rip me off multiple times and my car is not even fixed because the check engine light is still on. Never buy a Volvo! And when we tried to call them to complain, their customer service review guy never answers the phone. I ve called multiple times and left a message with my name like the voicemail says and nothing! I can t wait to sell this piece of junk that I have to drive. I won t even sell it to my family or friends because I don t want them to have to deal with Volvo

Great experience at Volvo Cars Gilbert. As a first time car buyer, I spent countless hours at dealerships looking at a wide range of vehicles. I was in and out in a timely manner. They also had everything prepared including service records available immediately upon arrival. This is the most transparent and communicative dealership. Make sure you ask for Julie! She is paving the way to change the narrative of exhausting dealership experiences.

I recently visited the Volvo dealership in Gilbert and had an exceptional experience with salesperson Lullian. He was knowledgeable about the features of the car that I was interested in and patiently explained everything to me without being pushy. I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to answer all of my questions. Overall, I had an excellent experience and I will definitely be back in the future. Wow, don't buy used from this dealership!!!!! first of all the salesman John Sendik just pushed the papers to me to sign with out going over them.. I dint have any idea what I was signing..asking what my payment would be...he didnt know....I asked for a better price nope, I asked for oil changes for 6 months..he said I will be laughed out of the office if I do that...sound like he's working for me??? NopeI was there for 5 hours waiting for the finance papers.... no owners book with my 2021 car so I called and asked for one...Nope they don't have one too bad...all they wanted was for me to sign the papers and get out of there. I would never go back!! No customer service there at all just the almighty dollar for that dealership!! I should have walked out and not signed anything!!

Worth the drive to Gilbert:) Sales staff are quick to respond to questions and patient. I found pricing to be very competitive when comparing other local dealerships. My sales rep accommodated a recent injury that prevented me from picking up the car. She drove the car to my house to drop it off and finish signing paperwork.
