H&I auto has always taken care of me!!! They are honest and reliable. They even went above and beyond to send a technician to unlock my car when I locked myself out. Please use them for your automotive needs, you will not regret it!

This H&I Auto always takes care of me! They are friendly, super knowledgeable, and never recommend things I don't need to get back on the road. Very "no b.s." and trustworthy. Glad they are right across the street!

I was impressed. They send you a text diagnosis of the issue. Very thorough and standard pricing. Jon was super knowledgeable and took the time to explain what repairs I needed. Service was easy to schedule.

The staff is very friendly and polite, and I do not feel like I am being pressured into purchasing services that I do not need. The prices seem reasonable, and I am always happy with the work performed. Its great to have a trusted auto shop close by.

When I need a shop for something I can take care of in my own shop at home, I go see Jon at H&I Automotive. The guys down there live up to their name "Honesty and Integrity", and it's why I had them perform a pre-purchase inspection on my truck before we inked the deal - every inch of the truck was inspected with an unbiased eye. Their prices are more than fair for the market and for the work being performed. I recently had two alignments done their after I put new suspension on my son's car and my truck - end results were as expected.Don't waste your time at dealerships. If you can't handle wrenching on your own, go see Jon at H&I Automotive, and he will take care of you.

Had to tow my wife s car here on Tuesday morning and they were able to get right on diagnosing and repairing it. Super honest and great people to work with. I will definitely recommend and return if needed.

Unfortunately I could not be more disappointed. I will not be going back to this shop. And I would suggest that everyone that goes here to go get a 2nd opinion before you fork out money to them.I'm new to the area and was looking for a good mechanic that I could trust and use for life. I was charged over $300 for diagnostics and an an oil change. I knew this going in, they were upfront about it. They were quick with diagnostics and great about communicating and taking photos, etc. it was actually pretty impressive.I was told there was over $700 minimum in repairs needed for the a/c and blower that were broken. There was a drainage hose that was possibly unrepairable and could cost upwards of $2700 to replace that and the blower. At minimum it would cost over $700 to fix and clean. I was also told that my brake fluid, transmission fluid, and another fluid were all dirty and needed replacing. On top of that I was told that I ought to replace hoses and lines that were originals so they should be replaced. , etc. Etc etc. when all was said and done we were being quoted over $5,000 in repairs and services. Luckily I took it to get a second opinion.Blower is fine and working perfectly. There was a tiny bit of debris that was easily cleared out. There was a drainage hose that was disconnected so it was leaking into the cabin, easily reconnected. I told the shop to use their best judgment and replace any fluids that needed to be replaced and they let me know of the pricing. They said all of it was perfectly fine and needed no changing. At THAT POINT I told them that I was being told they were all dirty and was being told that this place was telling me to replace. They put on an air filter that was missing and changed the oil (which I didn't mean to have them redo, miscommunication between my wife and I.) So with an oil change, diagnostics, filter replacement and repairs, total was $153.With H&I it was over $300 and all they did was an oil change and diagnostics and nearly give me a heart attack. And it was literally double the cost.It s unfortunate that a brand new person in their system and to the area had an experience of nearly having to pay $5,000 for my first experience there.2 stars for quick response time and for detailed photos But super bad experience with pricing, and I d hate to say it, but I feel the photo of the fluids they sent were an old photo of some other car, because I looked at them myself and they look nothing like that. Very shameful.Beware.

I believe H & I does a great service for us. I was a little disappointed that my last service I wasn't offered any kind of discount based on the fact that I have been a very loyal customer as well as referred multiple referrals to H&I in Gilbert. Also we had our radiator replaced and they didn't clean up the windshield after the job was done. I took my Nissan through the car wash after I picked it up. Overall I am satisfied with the customer service and the work they do.Services: Auto water leak repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Ryan and John are super helpful. The shop is really clean and professional. They give you a really great assessment of the vehicle and do quality work. They told me what was wrong and what the recommended and didn t make me feel bad for not doing all of the services at once.

Ryan and his team did an outstanding job of diagnosing and fixing the issue with my older Audi. Everything was completed on -time and they also followed up after I picked up the car to see if everything was running well. They also provided a full set of documentation that explained in detail the work done. Highly recommend this shop.

We have used H & I for years but decided to make a change today. Although they are friendly and good at what they do they are very pricey, and I have never felt like I had a good relationship with them. Our latest encounter with them involved our van having transmission issues. They charged us for looking at the vehicle just to tell us that they don't rebuild them but only replace them. In looking for a place to actually rebuild our transmission, as replacement is very expensive, they all do this service for free. Also, the wait time for an appointment is pretty far out. I guess they are popular. Very disappointed, I was charged $303 for a part that should have been $28 plus mark up. I asked for the removed part to which I googled the exact part #. It's a small plastic windshield washer pump.

I really trust these guys, the customer service is over the top. I am alway given all details so I know exactly what to expect. I have used H&I/Gilbert a few times and have always been satisfied. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE H&I Automotive in Gilbert, AZI have a 2005 GMC Canyon Z-71 4X4, 111,071 miles on it. Always runs great, but got sluggish and was starting to run on the hotter side.Took it to H&I Automotive and they suggested $3,898.70 in repairs.H&I suggested replacing the radiator, the hoses, the thermostat, the fan clutch assembly, the front brakes, the spark plugs, the ignition coil, and a fluid and oil change. They said about my truck, I think we can salvage it .Being faced with a nearly $4,000 repair, I paid H&I $177.78 to get the truck out of their shop and took it to AAA Auto Repair in Gilbert, AZ.AAA replaced the catalytic converter and I literally saved thousands of dollars in repairs.If I had used H&I Automotive, I would have spent nearly $4,000 and still needed to replace the catalytic converter on top of that!!

Absolutely take your vehicle here!I am so impressed with the team at H&I Automotive. They have consistently gone above and beyond in terms of service and quality workmanship. They have been instrumental in keeping our old vehicle (300,000+ miles) and new vehicles running in tip-top shape.Additionally, they are excellent communicators, have given us options when appropriate, and are enjoyable, honest, and kind people to do business with. I have been to many different auto shops, none of which compare to H&I. This is hands down the best group I have ever taken my vehicles to and I recommend them without reservation.I never write reviews but thought that someone else could benefit from knowing that there was a trustworthy and skilled auto team in their area. If you are having any issues with your vehicles, I recommend calling H&I.

The people who work here are professional and have great customer service. They listen to my questions and concerns regarding my vehicle and safety. We do only the work on my car that is required, and performed in the order of needed maintenance and safety without over cost and non required work & cost. I will recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for an honest shop. Thanks guys for your help.

Excellent service. Would highly recommend as a service repair shop. Great communication and very fairly priced. Had a major engine repair of valves, lifters, and rocker arms on a 2013 Grand Caravan with 109,000 miles. It now runs like a new vehicle without any ticking or noises.Will definitely be using them in the future. I had been recommended by a friend to H & IAs a single woman I am always nervous about car repair business and costs honesty.The experience I had with Ryan and John was so easy. They are so friendly, spend plenty of time on the phone with me explaining things. They went above and beyond multipolar times.H & I changed my views on car repair shops ..I won t go anywhere else!

I stumbled upon H&I because my car wouldn't start at the goodwill nearby. They were kind to send someone to check my battery and after finding out it wasn't the battery, they got me in for a diagnostic test the same day. Jon was very patient to give us quotes and help in any way possible. Bless his heart! Very honest and kind autoshop. I live in Chandler but work in Queen Creek but I will definitely take my car to H&I when needed/possible. 10/10 experience especially during this stressful time. Great experience from start to finish. Clearly communicated what they would do as well as the price. They finished sooner than promised and prioritized all their suggested additional work along with clear itemized estimates without being at all pushy. Having worked in the business before I was very impressed with how they operated from start to finish. They weren t the cheapest quote but I had the most confidence in how they presented themselves and I don t regret spending a few extra dollars for this kind of service and quality of work along with an unbeatable guarantee to back it up. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would. My car had front end shaking. That can be a complicated problem, with multiple causes. They made a repair that didn't eliminate the shaking. I took the car back and they stood behind their work 100 percent. This time they found the root cause and fixed it for FREE even though it cost more than the original repair. No more shaking. I build commercial buildings and inevitably things go wrong during construction. What separates the best subcontractors from all the rest is how they take responsibility when things go wrong. Like my best subcontractors, H&I Automotive showed me who they really are when something went wrong. I'm a customer for life. Over-charge and under-perform. They 'use' the charm, but are not sincere...probably because they are insecure. There is NO 'H' or 'I' here...steer clear.*they also judge by the type of car you drive...if you get better 'service'...or not.

So happy to have stumbled upon this automotive shop! I was able to get a same day appointment for an oil change. Very friendly, honest staff and reasonably priced services! I love that they sent a digital inspection of my car (including pictures of the areas of concern or repairs needed) via text message and did not try to force the suggested services. I will definitely be back! Thanks H&I Automotive!
