Just moved to Laughlin from San Diego and my 2015 Camaro RS with 133,931 miles transmission started to hesitate to go into gear. Searched and found American Transmissions. Butch and Michael fixed the transmission in less than a week and I'm a very satisfied customer. The price was very reasonable, less than what I expected. I highly recommend this shop for transmission needs.

I only tried to get a quote from this place. When going over my issue the person behind the phone was quick to bad mouth other shops, Then he couldn't even find my transmission in his book. It's a 2012 f150 xtr. Pretty common. I cannot comment on the quality of work.

American Transmissions is a wonderful shop. Butch and his crew are Honest Friendly professionals that care about their work and customers! We took our truck to them and they did a great job! Butch and his son Michael are the best mechanics in our area,they did an excellent job replacing my Fiat 500 clutch assy and flywheel, also went the extra mile and replaced the engine and transmission mounts that were worn while they had the transmission out,would highly recommend them to anyone thanks guys.reasonable prices too

Im a black guy with a black 65 c10. I say that because a few places that ive talked to mase me feel uncomfortable once they hear d the African american in my voice. That wasn't the case at AMERICAN transmission. Anyways I cant get my truck into 3rd gear. They where supper informative about what it could and couldn't be. Before dropping my truck off they told me I should have the steering column looked at first. THEY WHERE NOT INTO JUST TAKING MY $.If something is wrong thats where I am going.

My transmission on my Chevy S-10 truck went out on a Saturday morning. American Transmissions was the only shop open on Saturday and they had great reviews so I called them and got my truck to their shop. They did a complete rebuild and I was able to get it back in a few days. Butch and his son Michael did a fantastic job! The truck drives like a brand new vehicle. They are efficient, affordable and I thank God for directing me to the best transmission shop in our tri-state area. I highly recommend them for any issue you may be having with your vehicle transmission.

Butch and his son are the two main people to talk too. I had a problem with my transmission that I tried to rebuild on my own. It was making a noise that I had Butch listen to and he knew what it was so I ordered it and made a appointment with him and he had it back together within an hour. So I put it back in my explorer and no more noise what a great American transmission place to go to highly recommend seeing them in person.Service: Transmission

Butch and his family were great. My car broke down unexpectedly and he started the repair as soon as I got the vehicle to him. Everything was done without me even having to leave my home; besides the tow. I definitely recommend this place for any of your transmission needs. Trustworthy and efficient service.
