I specifically called to see if they had plowed the snow from the recent storm. They said they had. When we arrived, none of the roads had been plowed (and I could see that all of the neighboring campgrounds had plowed). To top it off, there was a giant pine branch hanging right in front of the dump station. We were lucky to get out of there without damaging our RV. The young woman in the office was nice and efficient.

I would just like to say that out of all the campsites, me and my family have visited this one is by far one of our favorites. It is impeccably clean and have all the right accommodations and not to mention the staff, Anthony and his wife they are so incredibly friendly and amazing. Thank you so much for helping me and my husband. My husband and I drove out from Los Angeles and stopped at this campsite. On our way to Tennessee and it made us feel so comfortable and had all the right hook up and although local amenities were nearby within a minute. I will definitely recommend this campsite to all of my friends and family and we will for sure be returning in the summertime to enjoy the hot weather and this campsite again, thank you so much I can t stop staying enough good things about Woody mountain campsite. Thank you again for being a part of our trip, with loveTodd and Liana and Jessie

We were here overnight after a long hot drive through the desert in November. It was nice to be at a higher elevation where the air is cooler and there are abundant pine trees. However, the noise issue as others have stated is a large con. There are long cargo trains going through about every 15 minutes across the already busy highway that itself is noisy. This RV park is rustic. The sites are not well marked and we never found our site. We deduced it from numbers that we could find. Road in is very dusty and sites are all either gravel or dirt. The bathroom house with showers is old, but has been renovated inside. They are clean, the shower stalls (2) are very small. The water is hot. It appears they took a site and set up a common area that has a number of propane bbq's for use. I would say this RV campground is rustic and evolving. Not much can be done about the trains and hwy noise.

Booked a one night stay with our 5th wheel. But because of bad weather and highway travel warnings we decided not to risk travel. We called for a refund and were told sorry we're keeping your money. Make sure you read the cancelation policy before you book. Their rules are more important than your safety on the highway.

First thing to highlight here is that it's a GREAT location. You are right along Route 66 and not too far from Downtown Flagstaff, Sunset Crater, the Grand Canyon, etc. The issues we had... We got in late on a Friday Night so our reservation was on the board when arrived. We had paid for a pull through and they switched us into a back-in. The spaces are really uneven. Big challenge to level out. Never got it perfect. The next day we kept getting messages about fresh burritos starting early in the morning. OK we decided. Let's do that for breakfast. My ex walked over to get a couple. . Needless to say they didn't have any. They weren't out. They just didn't make any. That was entertaining.

This is our 2nd weekend in a row camping here. The first weekend we used the hook ups and this weekend we dry camped. The location is perfect. The grounds are well kept and the spaces are easy to back in/pull thru. The staff is amazing!!! Samantha is an absolute sweet heart! She s a definite keeper. She makes THE BEST carmal macciattos! The wine and coffee lounge is so cute and welcoming and just a nice relaxing spot to enjoy your coffee/wine. They even have a general store that has almost everything you need and some!!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!!! Definitely recommending to friends that camp up here! Thank you Samantha for your great customer service!!!!!

We stayed only one night in January in a campervan so our experience was unique to most campers that visit this site with snow on the ground, freezing temperatures, and restricted amenities due to the winter weather conditions, however the campsite was cleared enough for us to easily navigate our campervan in and out of the park, the online check in process made our arrival seamless. We also thoroughly enjoyed the adorable gift shop, coffee shop, and wine bar they had on site.

The stars given are honestly out of the owner s hands but I want to give honest feedback for the sake of the people looking for a place to stay. I am unsure how it is visiting here with an RV or staying in one of the lovely rooms but what I can say is it isn t amazing to tent camp here. The bathrooms to us are very nice, the staff is amazing, the scenery is great, and they have some of my favorite things! Wine and espresso. They also have food, ice and even rent out a fun little propane fire pit. Everything is wonderful but here are the cons:-Although the train is silenced at night, it is still pretty loud for a tent camper. It does however start sounding at 7 AM.-The tent sites are really actually RV sites. They are super tiny and hardly enough room for your car as well.-The guests here seem to all have dogs that bark whenever and often.-The highway noise is obnoxious at best.-I didn t realize there is a lot of crime in this town until I heard the continuous noise of sirens every night we are here.I feel bad that this company has these issues because they seem to really be trying to do an over the top job which I appreciate but unfortunately because of situations they cannot help, I don t recommend tent camping here.

We stayed here mid October 2023 for a wedding at the arboretum (which was right up the road), our site was great, we felt like we had privacy, and the little shop with coffee and wine was great. The hiking trail was great for our dogs and the trees still had some color! We were super close to flagstaff downtown and still within a nice drive to Sedona. Laundry room was also very clean and fair priced. Would def recommend!Only thing to note is that you must decide if you re going to rent a propane fire pit early in the day, you can not rent after hours so ensure you call and request one ahead of time! :)

*This review is based on my experience tent camping (with electric hookup)* edited based on response.First off, staff was extremely pleasant at check in and it is a nice campground (we took advantage of all the shade for a few walks and had a good time). I just have a couple gripes that made this a not-very-enjoyable stay for tent camping, and maybe folks will consider their options before setting up here.*1. Originally was about the 30amp electric hookup in a tent-site, but that's what's advertised and they offer adapters so I just wasn't perceptive or resourceful on this one.2. The shower situation is just not good. There are 4 shower heads (2 men, 2 women) for the entire campground. Being in a tent and having this as your only option was not very fun. Had to sit around for 15 minutes at 5am waiting for one of the 2 showers to open. Happened every time regardless of the hour. The condition of said bathrooms leaves a lot to be desired as well. Feels like an older State Park facility and could really use updating.I say all this to say, if I were there in an RV with my own shower/bathroom setup, it would have been just fine. It was a nice place (wee-bit cramped), nice staff, and great shade from the Summer sun. Just really not great for tent campers. I've had enough really great experiences for roughly the same price or else I wouldn't be writing this. Easy fixes!

First off make sure you pick enough room you need for your trailer and vehicle. On the website. Two different location restroom but one spot to shower but roomy. Was told in November first 6 spots by entrance is open. Because restroom and shower will be closed.Trailer is Taxa Woolly Bear if y all are wondering. Took A1 spot if you look on the map.

We thought this campground was great! We stayed two nights and the site was just a tad tricky to get into but the air smelled like pine that emanated from all the trees that shaded our campsite. We took our full day there to site see and then got back and enjoyed a wine tasting. The next morning I got two muffins that were excellent.Nearby activities: Drove up to the Sunset Crater Volcano and Wupatki National Monuments. The Lava flows at the Crater were awesome.

We camped here for one night with a same day online reservation. We arrived early because we didn't realize there was a time change. After viewing the map, I asked if we could switch sites. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The grounds are very well kept. The bathrooms are pristine and modern. I love the old school Route 66 feel with all the modern comforts. The office/store/coffee shop is fun to browse. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

We came up to take our son to NAU for his freshman year and stay at this lovely campground. We tent camped and it was vey comfortable. It was very clean, convenient and quiet. No loud generators. No loud neighbors. Wonderful dog park. Amazon coffee. Willow, the manager, was kind, helpful and informative. Definitely will come back and stay in the new bed and breakfast Noteworthy details: Lots of attention to detail and decor was very chic. The store was well stocked and the wine collection was unique.

While the grounds are kept up and it has a nice laundry room I cannot recommend this campground for tent campers or those wanting to use the bathhouse. From what I could tell there is the only one bathhouse for this entire campground and it was used heavily while we were there with insufficient maintenance. On the Saturday of Labor Day weekend I had to call the office to have the toilet paper replenished and the feminine hygiene receptacle emptied. Any Saturday should have regular maintenance but especially a holiday. They have signs all over tell you to keep their newly renovated bathhouse neat and clean & they have a fragile septic system yet they don't do their part and they almost always smelled. I don't appreciate being "yelled at" every time I use the facilities. The female side of the bathhouse is the most "unuser-friendly" one I have ever experienced. There are no hooks to hang things on except one inside each stall (only 2 showers and 2 toilets and one remained clogged until I again called the lack of attention to the office *sigh*). The only shelf is very small, holds very little and is positioned about 2 feet above the low sinks so you have to duck you head under the shelf to brush your teeth. Also there is only one outlet - yes ONE - and even that has a dehumidifier plugged into it. I spoke with more than one woman how frustrating this setup was and we all agreed this reno was probably designed by a man. Plus if you are in a tent these grounds are very loud. The highway and the train will keep you up all night.

We LOVE Woodys and plan to stay here 3 times this summer. The staff is so friendly you feel like family. Yes, our dog gets a little dirty, ( in response to previous review), but this is camping! The beautiful pine trees and spectacular weather are incomparable. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are very clean. I highly recommend you stay at Woodys!

This place is terrible! I am not sure why there are so many good reviews. We just stayed here for 10 days and I am totally disappointed. First off, the shower/bathrooms smell sooooo awful. It actually made us sick!!! The sewer gas is leaking up from the drains and it does not seem safe. I plan to call the city next business day. Second, there is zero grass anywhere, it's like a big dust bowl. Our camper was filled with dust and had to be wiped down daily. Our dogs were so gross from the dirt we had to wash them before leaving town. Third, the playground is a complete joke and not safe for children. A park in the projects would be safer. We will never come back. Take your money elsewhere... especially for the price they charge for a RV spot. The only positive thing about this place is, how close it is to town.

There were a lot of people RVing but it was quiet in the park. For me the parking was tight but manageable because of all the trees. Definingly anything bigger then a 34 footer tow behind will have some issues with maneuverability. The whole lot is brownish/rust like dirt so I suggest taking off your shoes when getting back into you rig and the dust will kick up when disturbed. Overall a good quiet stay. I did not use any of the facilities so I cant comment on that. Water pressure, 30 amp, and waste hook ups were in good condition.

The camp host was rude. The site was really small for 156 dollars. Nothing special that s for sure. Worst camp ground I have ever been to. Very small site. The park also smells of feces. This could be do to the 50 year old septic. Will never stay here again, will make sure to tell people to never go there. Thanks host for the worst camp experience ever. I forgot to mention that there are no light , so if you have to go to the bathroom at night be careful you could easily fall down the stairs. Pitch black at night and scary especially for a female going to the bathroom Alone. Can t believe there hasn t been a lawsuit yet. I m a female and you should be ashamed that your too cheap to put a light by your bathrooms. Looking at stars and trying not to break a leg in the middle of the night are two different scenarios. We were not playing loud music and your camp host is extremely untruthful.

Nice treed sites with lots of space. Staff was excellent and the restaurant had the most delicious food. You have to try the French Toast. We didn't use the restroom, showers or laundry that's why I could only give it a four. Would definitely stay here again and again. Still a great campground and enjoyed staying here again 10/12/23.
