Had complete engine rebuild at this shop after first day rear seal was leaking..shop owner said he offered a six mo. Or 6-k mile warranty..I asked Joel if he used silicone sealer on the end tabs of the lower seal..his response was not necessary..Joel..google proper engine rear seal replacement on a 4.0 Jeep and you will see the proper way..so now I have a engine leak with NO WARRENTY..everything else appears to be done properly..I would not have left this negative feedback had he acknowledge the warrenty..no communications what so ever..Joel..thanks for the deal ..customer beware..get the warrenty work in writing..!

Joel is knowledgeable, does great work, and is priced very fairly. I say this as a repeat customer. Joel did the machining, cleaning, and much of the assembly of the first engine I rebuilt (shortly after he opened), and 20 years later I m back, enlisting his help on yet another engine. Clearly I think great things of Flag Engine and Machine - it s hard not to when Joel does such great work for a great price.

Not a bad little shop. I dropped off my engine, I can only wait to see what happens to it next. They have reasonable prices to get my engine rebored and pistons installed. Almost 300 bucks but it's for a V6. Joel was excellent explaining what I needed done to my engine.

Flagstaff Engine & Machine built many engines for me and my family over the years. If there was ever a problem with an engine they built, they stood behind it. They have always helped me. Best machine shop I have ever been to.

Outstanding experience with Joel. He did the machine work on my 4.0 Jeep rebuild and provided me with a quality rebuild component kit. Couldn't have gone better!
