I don t know where to begin other than Auto Rehab is fantastic. Derek, Daniel, and Troy are great additions to the community and are EXPERTS in this field. I brought my 2014 Ford fiesta ST in during the fall of 2020 for some welcomed additions to my vehicle, not only did they finish the very lengthy job within 3 days. They communicated every step along the way to make sure I knew what was happening with my vehicle.Several weeks following the work on the car I developed an issue with the fuel evap check valves in the car, they took several hours out the their busy day to diagnose the issue and guide me to the correct resources to fix it.The car community in flagstaff is incredibly grateful for this family, they contribute a great deal to keeping us together and on the road.Thank you Derek, Daniel, Justin, and Troy-JamesServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

I ve finally found my go to mechanics! These guys know their stuff and try to save you money! I feel they are very honest and I ve been through many mechanics in flagstaff. They are good at communicating and getting the job done. If it takes less time than expected they charge you accordingly and such friendly and helpful guys here! Thanks guys for fixing my differential cover and making it seem so easy and quick. It took four shops before coming here and I m glad I did! Two mechanics just didn t seem to want the job and another wanted almost twice what they charged here stating it was at least a 6.5 hour job. Daniel guessed about 5 and they got it done in four! No leaks now! Also I watched them with an older lady regular customer..She was treated with compassion like you would expect your grandmother to be treated with and not accepting anything more than necessary for helping her with a small job! I am impressed!**Update! They are still 5 stars after helping check a leak while they were very busy before I travel to South Dakota and found my water pump was going out! They fixed same day and now I feel safe going to SD in my van! These guys are incredible! If you are on the fence on using a new mechanic just pick up the phone and call auto rehab . You won t be disappointed!!!

I don't want to be biased since I work here, but if you're looking for a great mechanic shop with truthful service, honest prices, and trusted repairs, then look no further!! This is where you want to bring your vehicle for mechanical maintenance, repair services, or performance needs! The owner and his wife (Derek and Sally) are incredible people with hearts that genuinely care and want to help, which is one of the MOST IMPORTANT reasons I'm here. Of course, I bring my own vehicles here, my family brings their vehicles here, it's truly a place to bring your vehicle and have a sense of security knowing you're not going to be taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge. Thank you Auto Rehab and your team! Keep up the great work and repair services that you've dedicated to the Flagstaff community, and anyone who comes through your doors!

Updated Feb 2024: they reached out to me quickly and re examined my car and also insisted on refunding me. Very gracious. While we still haven't found the cause of the sound, they also did something to kinda test one thing. Very grateful.Original: from Jan 2024: TLDR: they said I needed new breaks and I've gotten two more licensed opinions, over the following 3 months, and those two shops said I'm totally fine and I've got a while. They charged me about $80 for their inaccurate assessment. They may have also missed an actual issue that another shop found. TBD on that.In Oct 2023 I brought my car by for a squeaky/squeely sound that had been happening for 2 months, usually upon breaking, on one of the right wheels. I said it doesn't sound like the break wear indicator noise. I dropped my car off before opening (8 am) for my 9 am appt. They called my oddly quickly after my appt time and said it's your breaks, do you want us to do them? I said no, I just didn't feel like I could deal with it that day and it felt weird they were done so fast. "Oh and we charge $ for an inspection." Well they didn't tell me that when I made my appt so that sucks. I talked them into a few bucks off. I wondered if they got to my car early, by it still seemed a little odd how quickly they were done. At the end I asked if the amount I paid did anything for the cost of the breaks. THEN they decided to tell me yes, it goes towards the cost of the job if I do the work in the next month.I got a flyer in the mail for free break inspection at Heath's. I went there in December, they informed me my breaks were at 60% and 70%, and they found another issue that doesn't usually cause a squeal noise, and said it wasn't urgent but before I do any long trips or in a few months I should get it fixed ($1100). I called my dealer for a quote on that and they said $1400-$2000.In January 2024 I needed an oil change so I went to Brake Masters since they do free inspections apparently. They couldn't get the sound to happen, but they said my brakes were 30% and 40% worn, so plenty of time left. They offered to do a clean and lube of my brakes in case they have cinders or dust, but it's cost is per axle and so it would be best if I can figure out front or back.Needless to say, Auto Rehab 2 totally scammed me by saying my breaks needed to be replaced. It's unclear if they looked at my car early or if they never even put it up and looked at it. They didn't give me % worn info on my brakes like the other two shops did.My guess is they figured I could be fooled because I am a woman. But the cat is out of the bag, and I want my money back. And maybe a free brake cleaning too. If I don't hear from you in a week or two I will dispute the credit card transaction.

Starting having trouble just outside of Flagstaff and a couple of friends recommended AR2. Good thing! Daniel got me in, assessed the problem, made a recommendation, all for a super fair price! Thanks for getting me back on the road team!!!

I was recommended to get my oil change at Auto Rehab from my garage in Tempe, American 5 Star. Wow was I grateful. Some how the plastic part for oil change area cracked . I am in an Older vehicle and camping north of Flagstaff in forest. Daniel at front office and his team found the part and replaced it with an even better quality part!! The oil change estimate and final cost was also under estimate!!! They were polite in every way too! Now I totally recommended Auto Rehab myself!

We switched to Auto Rehab, after years of going to another business. They were recommended to us by my niece, and we have zero regrets. Every time, they are able to get us right in, when they say they will, and take care of the vehicle when the appointment is scheduled. We are a one vehicle family, so that is very valuable to us. They don't over price, which I was shocked at the cost difference when I compared quotes from our long time previous mechanic. Most importantly, high quality service and respect. i brought my car in because of a bad wheel bearing sound and daniel called to let me know 3 of them were bad and quoted me for $1500. he then told me only 2 of them really needed the repair urgently if i wanted to wait on the third (my first green flag). i told him he could do all 3 to be safe and he called me a few hours later to tell me he replaced one and the sound went away and asked if i d still like any of the others done. i told him i wanted to talk to my brother first and he told me my brother could call him and he d explain it again to him! we decided to just replace the one with daniels guidance (saving me $1000). such an amazing experience with qualified and honest staff. recommending to everyone i know!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve had two clutches installed here for different vehicles. Both were timely, error-free, and the best price in town. Beyond that, though, we had an issue with our SUV after an instant oil change shop botched our oil change, leaving us with a blown engine. Derek took a lot of time to examine our car, give us quotes, listen to our story, and gave us the best price in Flagstaff to replace the engine. He inspected work that was done at other shops in the past, and offered to fix their mistakes for us. When we didn t take him up on engine replacement, he was very understanding, and didn t even charge us for all the time he spent diagnosing and assessing our issues. I ve only used this shop for my vehicles, and I can t recommend them enough. Derek is the best in town; do not hesitate to go directly to this (insanely busy) shop for all of your auto needs. Daniel and Derek are awesome over here! I love this place! They are honest, fast and holy god, the price was wayyyy less than I feared. So to say Im a happy camper is a vast understatement. Derek saw the problem right away and fixed it! Love love love Auto Rehab!Update: They always do an awesome job here, and my headlamps were no exception! Makes my car look brand new!See photos.

Daniel and Derek are great. I took my Suburban in there as it was having popping in the front end while driving at slower speeds. I had taken it to another shop and they did sway bar end links (which it may have needed as well), but it didn't fix they problem and they had said it did.Derek took a test drive with me so he knew exactly what sound I was talking about. Daniel was able to do some more checking and found that the sound was actually coming from the upper control arms. They were able to get both sides done quickly and a great price. This took the popping sound away completely and the suspension is now working as it should.Great experience and great people that work there. Actually taking my suburban into them again in the next few days for another separate issue. Thanks!Service: General repairs & maintenance

As a disabled senior I was impressed ...didn't have to sit or stand too long as I have a fractured spine and other disabilities from 2 autos hitting me ...was charged a decent price and have not forgot them ...I tell everyone

I was on my way to visit a friend in Albuquerque. I stopped in Flagstaff to get gas. After getting gas my car won't start. I finally got the car started and I went to AutoZone, since I thought it was the battery. The guy at AutoZone tested the battery and said it was good, but I needed a new alternator at the cost of $170. After driving from place to place looking for a mechanic who could replace the alternator, I stopped into Auto Rehab. Derek said they were book full, but he'd look at my 1999 Toyota Camry and see what was going on. After doing several tests he concluded the alternator was fine. He said the battery post just needed cleaning. Derek took the time to clean the post and then test the battery again. The car started again without an issue. I asked how much and Derek said no charge. I was shock, and so grateful for him taking the time out to help a stranded motorist. What a great guy - I can't thank him enough. My old Camry (369,000 miles) made it to Albuquerque and back to Phoenix with no issues. Again, I can't thank Derek enough for saving my day!!!!! I would recommend Auto Rehab to anyone looking for a great and honest mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Five stars!!Unfortunately, my AC in my car gave out on me and I was having to deal with some pretty uncomfortable heat. They made me feel as though I was top priority. My vehicle was in and fixed all in the same day. Daniel, Derek and the entirety of their staff that assisted me were incredibly helpful, professional and kind. My end price even came in lower than I had expected (which never seems to happen with automotive)!!If ever I need to take my vehicle in again I will definitely be taking it there. I have been to Auto Rehab a few times and every time they have been so helpful. I ran into an issue with my coolant fluid and Eldon really went the extra mile and came to me to help me bring my car to the shop. I would recommend Auto Rehab to anyone in Flagstaff.

I don t have a souped up racer or show car or truck, just a 23-year old Dodge pickup with 280,000 original miles. But I love the old thing. I swear, though, that whenever I drive into AutoRehab s busy little lot for repairs, I get the feeling that Derek, Daniel and every awesome tech who works on it treats the truck more as their own than I do. This is their level of care. This shop s prices are reasonable, and they bend over backwards to maintain a very high level of professionalism and workmanship for their customers. Can t thank them enough. Repeat customer for a reason!

I can t say enough about this shop!! After breaking down 20 miles outside of Flagstaff on our way home Christmas Day and being towed to Auto Rehab recommended by the State Trooper that stopped to help, they had the main problem, along with other minor issues, diagnosed and fixed by the next day! While the speed at which the repair was done was impressive, the level of service and honesty was far above anything we expected. Thank you for turning something that could have ruined our vacation into a easy and pleasant experience!

I have been to Auto Rehab three times with two different vehicles, and I have always had a great experience. They are friendly, honest, fast, and very reasonably priced. They do great work. I will keep coming back, since my wife's Honda Pilot apparently has lost its will to live and tries to die every month or so. Highly recommend.

I would give Auto Rehab 10 stars if I could! As a woman, I always dread going to auto shops. This is the first positive experience I ve had! Everyone was super friendly and treated me like an actual person. Their service was high quality and quick, and they went out of their way to help me with a bumper problem I was having. The guys at Auto Rehab 2 are awesome. They didn't charge for hours of inspecting my vehicle, and discussed avenues for saving money! This is very rare in the automotive industry. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and have excellent customer service!

I have been in Flagstaff for more than 10 years and have been trying to find a mechanic shop that won't over charge me and try to "get one by" on me. Auto Rehab is the only place that I have found that is honest and will do the work right, they have also done things extra and didn't charge me for the services. I take all four of my cars to them and trust them to the fullest. To me, honesty and integrity go a long way. Take your vehicle here if you want the job done right! Highly recommended!!

This is the best mechanic I used in Flagstaff out of several. They were quickly on the job, and had it done faster than I expected. Not only that, they managed to fix some things that other shops had not been able to diagnose/repair properly. In addition, they stuck to their quoted estimate of the repairs even though they ended up doing an entire extra repair for me while they had it in the shop. These guys are the real deal.Honest, friendly, very knowledgeable.Trust and honesty are hard to find with mechanics and I was happy to find these guys while on my road trip. They could have told Mr I needed a while new radiator and instead, they fixed the leak and got me on my way for a great price and complete fix. I want to move to Flagstaff just to be near an honest and trustworthy repair shop. Recommended 100%!

Derek, the owner is very helpful! I've been to this shop on several occasions and for several reasons. Weather I'm just dropping by looking for intellectual assistance because they are very intelligent and mechanically inclined. The guys have done everything from minor repairs to installing performance parts on my go fast cars! One vehicle of mine after the next, from small issues to larger more time consuming jobs, they do it all and they do it very well! Always honest, always dependable, and always making me feel like a member of the auto rehab family! I've used and had experiences with many shops in Flagstaff AZ and although there are a couple I may have yet to try out that could have potential, my search ends here at Auto Rehab!
