Matt and James are two of the most communicative and helpful individuals I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. My 2012 Audi Q5 had unforeseen difficulties with a turbo replacement, and they went the extra mile to make sure the highest quality of work was done. They are also great when working with extended warranties. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could!

We found Apex after discovering that the car we bought through Carvana had some issues that we wanted addressed. The team at Apex was responsive and super helpful from the start! They put in time and energy to help us work with the warranty company to make sure that we got the quality parts and service that we wanted. They were very communicative throughout the process and seemed invested in making sure that we had a positive experience and that our car was assessed and fixed. We are very grateful for their services, recommend them to anyone interested in quality care, and will definitely be coming back for any other issues that we have with our new car. 10/10.

Apex has done repairs on 2 of my vehicles. First one was a 2010 Mini Cooper. They ended up repairing at a price way less than anticipated and it runs great! I couldn t be happier.I took my 2012 X5 in for a check engine light and will continue taking it in as needed.Apex explains very well the problems the vehicle is experiencing. They stand by their word and don t charge for unneeded repairs. They have called me after to check and see how the vehicles are running and take pride in their work.Apex has tons of integrity and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Apex did great with my toyota highlander. They were super fast and accommodating to my busy schedule. They also kept communications open and updated me every step of the way. They even gave me a follow up call 2 weeks later to make sure my car was still running well. 5 stars would recommend.

If a place has all 5 star reviews with not one person saying anything that could be improved upon, one might be suspect. My Son in law was driving our bmw to Phoenix when the serpentine belt broke. Had it towed to them. Turns out, they said, parts of the belt were sucked into the crankshaft bearing causing timing belt to jump. They said there was no compression anymore. Well, I m way up in MN tied up, so I can t go down and check things out. Just have to trust. They said the engine is ruined. Would be 9-10k for a new one. It s an older (2009) car, so not worth putting a new engine in. So I had the local salvage yard go pick it up. Apex ended up charging me $20 a day for storage?? Who does that?? I can see doing that if, after a week or two, no action has been taken. But for a few days?? What a joke! I would not go to these guys for that reason alone. It feels like they were taking advantage of a passing-by traveler who got down and out on his luck. Total bill to tell me my engine is ruined - $120.

These guys work on cars that still under warranty, they told I should scrap my2002 BMW, there great for newer cars , but am a purest, I love the car,I want to upgrade grade my car, I didn't ask for they're opinion,and the money don't matter ,I want my car done the way I want it !!! Don't care why he wouldn't do it. BOTTOM LINE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO WORK ON MY CAR ,BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND THE TIME DOING IT. NOT A PURIST SHOP,QUICK MONEY WARRANT ONLY SHOP .UNLESS YOU 4GRAND UP FRONT ,THEY ' LL TAKE THAT

I know Matt for several years from his previous workplace, always liked how courteous and professional he was. He also demonstrated vast knowledge fixing my Europeans (Saab s & Volvos). When I learned he opened his own shop I had to pay a visit. I had only but a great experience there, the new place is amazing. Wishing you a successful new endeavor Matt

My daughter's car recently broke an AC/alternator belt. We made the mistake of taking it to another shop nearby her apartment. I told her, "you are a 19 year old co-ed, the problem is relatively simple, but don't be surprised if they try to up-sell you on service and diagnostics you don't need" She told them what the problem was and that she needed those components addressed and when she didn't want the 15 point bumper to bumper once over, they claimed that they couldn't "guarantee their work" I suppose in retrospect, this should have been the point where I walked away and found a different shop, but I knew how easy the fix was, I just couldn't run up there from Phoenix to do it myself.They "fixed" it, but a few weeks later, the belt blew again and when I called the shop to find out if they had anything to say, their response was to remind me we declined the 15 point bumper to bumper inspection so they would not stand behind their work. I told them that they either put the belt on a faulty idler or installed it incorrectly and were now acting as if this was an acceptable way to do business. I reminded them that there is a difference between fixing a problem and "ignore the cause of the problem" and that if they had found the source of the broken belt to be bad bearings or a bad idler, I would have 100% green lit the cost of repair. They still accepted 0 responsibility.After doing more research and seeing that this shop had a bit of a reputation for garbage work I was referred to APEX by another shop when they told me that they specialize in European autos.From start to finish, my interaction with Henry at APEX was aces! He was very honest, patient, and detail oriented. He kept me informed along the way as to his progress and repair and presented me with a number of options for now and future service on the vehicle. He mentioned that google and yelp reviews matter to his business and that he is proud of his 5 star rating, but it was his honesty, integrity, and attention to detail that DEMONSTRATED how much he cares about being respected in his industry. I have told my daughter that as long as she is attending NAU that she should be taking her car to Henry over at APEX Automotive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Helped me out in a pinch while traveling through the area with my Land Rover Discovery TD6. We were supposed to be heading back home to Colorado when my DPF system started acting up and threatening to shut down the car because of a sensor misreading. I thought we were going to have to spend the next few days in Phoenix at the LR dealer waiting on them to overquote me on the work needed, but I called in and these guys were able to help me out that day with a couple fresh gallons of DEF and their code reader. Instead of being stranded we were able to continue on with our trip back home and my DPF system is working without issue, though I will take their advice and look into replacing the injector once home. If I was in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Fair pricing, very professional and personable.

Apex Automotive is top notch. Was on a road trip when BMW malfunctioned. Matt stayed open late and was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem for an unbelievably affordable price. I've taken my Audi to them several times and have had nothing but the best service from them. They are the most trustworthy auto mechanics out there and are very knowledgeable with Audi's. The service and professionalism of this shop is fantastic. My Mini Cooper broke down driving on a road trip, I found the shop online and they diagnosed the problem quickly and got factory parts overnighted and vehicle was repaired and back on the road the next day. During a cross country move, the water pump on our BMW went out leaving us stranded in Flagstaff. Matt was amazing! He was prompt, kept us informed and even washed the car. I whole heartedly recommend this shop to do work on your vehicle. Matt got us back on the road and on our way in no time.

My BMW broke down near Flagstaff and had to be towed to Apex Automotive since this Mechanic shop was the only one willing to accept a not running BMW within a 150 mile radius.Matt was very helpful from the get go, from helping the tow truck driver unload the car, to giving my girlfriend and i a ride to help us find a hotel since we were from out of town.He correctly and quickly (next day) determined that my car needed a new engine. I verified the reliability and truthfulness of this diagnosis when i had my trusted Mechanic in El Paso inspect the car a week later.Matt adviced that my best option was to transport my car home and have the engine replaced there even though he could easily do the job himself.My experience with Matt showed me that he is a very capable Mechanic that will give the customer accurate and honest service.

I feel SO fortunate to have found such a trustworthy and reliable shop in town that services Audi's. It is clear that Matt takes great pride in his work, truly going above and beyond a basic repair or service. Matt is transparent, honest, and restores my faith in mechanics. Matt and Henry have worked on a couple different family and business vehicles for us. Some standard work, some custom. Best service experience I've ever had. Matt (owner) and Henry are more helpful than you can imagine. Even though my car couldn't be fixed but they did everything possible to help me while I was stranded traveling from California to Kansas. I would recommend them 150%.

It s a little late, but Matt and his wife were very welcoming when I had my car towed over to their shop! It was about 1-2pm and Matt was able to find the issue that 3 other shops could not find; only took him about 2 hours to identify the issue and I m very appreciative. Just bought a new/used audi and brought my vehicle in for an post sale inspection. Matt Seemed to be very thorough as he identified a number of issues and had them addressed within a few hours. I felt the svcs. he provided were timely and the cost to value ratio seemed fair. It is very hard to put your trust in a mechanic anymore, and I have always been forced to do my own work on that account but, Matt has done well to restore some faith in that respect and show that he can extend the same care and love to my vehicle as I would. Road-tripping from LA - CO and the Mini Cooper breaks down a few miles out of Flagstaff, where only 2 mechanics would even see European cars. Matt and his team took care of me like I d been living down the street my whole life, trying to nurse my dog from a cold. They fixed my car for an incredible price, at an incredible rate with spectacular accuracy. Don t go anywhere else! These guys are smart and thoughtful, not just experienced and hardworking. GO APEX!!!

We were excited to be one of the first cars in the door at Apex. It's been a struggle to find someone we trust with our Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagon and she's got all the quirks of a 16 year old, high-mileage, German car. We love our import car because we know she's going to last (350k miles and counting), but it took us awhile to find a European/import mechanic in town that we trust, especially since our car is a diesel. Matt went above and beyond for us... Literally to the ends of the earth, calling my brother in Antarctica to make sure we were taken care of. His prices are fair, his judgment is sound, and he's honest--a man of integrity. We're so happy to support this local business!

Matt is one of the most honest, straightforward guys I have ever met, and a hell of a mechanic, too. No question I would trust him with my car. He s going to tell you what you need, what can wait, and call BS on the extras the other guys will insist you need.I was broken down a hundred miles from Matt at 6:30 on a Sunday night. Matt did a phenomenal job on a VW Jetta TDI for me. It's high-mileage, and had a list of headaches that he handled well and kept me informed of as we went. I'm about to set off cross country and am quite pleased with the work from Apex. I took it for a shakeout to Colorado Springs and back. It went from limping below 45mph before to gliding up Pike's Peak after. Thanks!
