After breaking down in Eloy yesterday, these fine mechanics were kind enough to help a couple of touring musicians get back on the road. I am forever grateful!!! Lady Psychiatrist's Booth loves you!

I brought my truck in to check an oil leak. I spoke with Steve originally over the phone and he told me itd be a 1hr job to look at at $120 an hr or something like that. They claim to have put my truck through thorough observation for +5hrs and determined I have no oil leaks. I left my truck with them on Monday the 28th of November and it took all of the next day for them to tell me they couldn't find any oil leaks. I paid $250 and that's them giving me a deal by knocking off 3 hrs because "I took their technician away from doing other jobs just so he could stay with my truck and observe an oil leak. I should really be paying for 5hrs".As you can see from the pictures below I do have an oil leak and it was a mistake for me to even come to this location in the first place. On top of that, upon arriving to their location I find my tractor hooked up to a random trailer almost as if they ran some loads with my truck.I should've just brought my truck to the dealership instead. I give them 2 stars because Steve was a friendly guy until the end and they could've been crooked and told me I did have a leak and do some bogus repairs because I did have a warranty on the truck but he was being honest... or atleast I hope he was. Therefore I give 2 stars instead of 1.

Friendly and honest service. Has a place to park your trailer across the street. Hotel is next door if you have to wait for extended period of time. They are open to suggestions to what YOU want to fix on YOUR truck. Some shops like TA will not. They took care of my truck quickly and got me back on the road.

Steve is an awesome person and runs a great shop, Midway Diesel in Eloy Az.. I called on Friday when we had issues with an air pressure leak around the turbos. He told me to come in on Monday at 9:00am to look at the truck.I did a lot of research over the weekend about the turbos, wastegate that was added, and possible items it could be. I narrowed it down to the wastegate that was added and the plumbing for that. Could not find anything.Monday I showed up at Midway Diesel and was told by Alex that I am scheduled for Wednesday. I told him I talked with Steve on Friday and he said bring it by on Monday at 9:00am. He walked into Steve s office and asked if I could wait a few minutes for him to finish what he was doing? I waited a few minutes and chatted with Alex. Steve came out and we walked to the truck to look at it.I opened the hood and showed him what we connected and had to tighten and what I researched what it could be. I told him I like to research problems to learn. He laughed and told me to start the truck. I told him it needs to be above idle to hear it.I was pushing the pedal so the leak could be heard and he looked for maybe 2 minutes and said I found it . He said turn it off but he still can not get to it till Wednesday as he is booked and he was as I had to park way off to the side as he had 4 big Semi s in front of the bays. Then he said it looks like the fitting needs to be threaded back into the body, but you have to remove some hoses and couplers to get to it.I told him to hold my spot and I will give it a shot.Took it back to the Silverado and waited for the engine to cool off. Took off a few hoses and the intercooler hose to get access. It was tricky getting the 45 degree fitting threaded into the intercooler body. Then put all the other pipes and connections back for the wastegate regulator. Decided it was a beer break . Then I installed the hoses and couplers that I had to remove, put all the tools away to make sure none were left in the engine compartment.Called Midway and talked with Steve and let him know I was able to fix it. Asked if I could buy the shop a flat of beer? He said no, because he wanted his boys to show up to work tomorrow . I told him, when we get ready to head back to Canada, I will have them do a oil change and service and thanked him again for his awesome help and guidance.

These guys are great! We stopped for fuel close by and noticed a problem with its tires on the left side. Come to find out we had a broken leaf spring hanger. We were told about Midway by the people at the TA travel stop and we're ever so glad they did. They got started on the job first thing in the morning and we were back on the road by 2! Btw, the hanger wasn't available so the just fabricated it on the spot!

Great shop to deal with! I truly can't say enough good things about these guys. Knowledgeable. Fast. No goofing around.I showed up at 4:10pm. Bad bolt on fender bracket (loose) on frame. Anthony got right on me before they closed at 5pm. As always, it took longer to fix bc the bolt was froze. (That's trucking) Steve, the owner, jumped in to help get me fixed & on the back on the road. I go above highly recommending this business for ANY of your repairs... they do it all!!!! I'd give 10 stars if I could....Steve from Maryland.

Truly professional service. I broke down on i-10 exit 149. Called loves road service. Their Lazy technician did not want to work and tried to convince me to tow it to freightliner. He diagnosed leaking main abs valve on tractor and called freightliner (supposedly) , was on phone for 10 minutes and then told me its on back order for 3 weeks. He charged me $325 and left reminding me not to tow it to their loves/ speedco shop. After he left , i called and checked with all 3 freightliner dealerships in area and all of them had abs valve in stock.I called midway and talked to steve. He knew exactly where the problem was and what part had failed. He diagnosed failed abs return/ release valve. Sent out the tech in 30 minutes. The tech very quickly changed the part in 30 minutes, charged me less that what i paid loves for doing nothing and i was rolling again in an hour. I wish all the repair shops and techs were as honest and knowledgeable as Midway s crew.

We had 2 hub seals leaking on our trailer. It was a previous problem the old owner had fix at a TA (in wheel ridge, California) 4 months before we purchased it. Well they did the job wrong and forget to put the seal gasket on both of them and they were leaking grease. TA across the street told me he found metal scraps in the oil and that axel spindle was damaged and it would cost thousands of dollars to have it repaired. I declined the job and found Midway Diesel they fixed the true problem only costing me $145.00. I was able to pass my DOT Inspection and make my delivery on time. I haven t seen any leaks and they work on APU systems too. Thank you guys for saving my butt. And yes it s tractor and trailer friendly you have a Truck across the street you can drop you trailer there or they have a dirty load. We have done both.

While travelin in my RV, engine coolant problems occurred...a small leak only under pressure while driving. Several searches could not find problem. Midway tech found it within 15 minutes...small hose leak that expanded and leaked at water heated up the hose. They fixed, tested and had me on my way in 90 minute of arrival. Was very pleased with their work and efficiency...and reasonable cost.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My inverter had blow a fuse. The chain truck stops who sell them don t install or fix them. The TA in Eloy told me about Midway Diesel. So I called the day before and spoke to Steve who told me they could help. The next day after inspecting the inverter it was dead. So between the time I got there and the new inverter was installed was about 1 1/2 hours and I was on the way. I was also charged at least 1/2 the price I would usually be pay for the installation. The staff is friendly and the other drivers that were there said they got quality work whoever they brought their trucks in.You got ann B problem with your truck? Steve and the guys can take care of you . Thanks!

steve with midway diesel is our hero! Trailer wheel and tire came flying off my travel trailer on a Saturday Morning and his shop was the only place around that would help. He drove around town hunting down the parts we needed and had us back on the road in a little over 1 hour. And his prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much Steve for saving our vacation!!`

These guys are awesome. My front differential planetary fell apart, literally. They were fair on pricing, up front on labor rates, answered any questions I had and allowed me to watch and ask questions as repairs were being made. The guys in the work crew have great attitudes, obviously enjoy their jobs and work extremely well together in helping each other get the work done.I highly recommend them for any heavy duty semi work that needs done. If I have any problems in this neck of the woods, I will happily use them again. They made a stressful experience much easier to deal with.
