I've been going to Phillips for over 20 years and I've been extremely happy with them. They are very thorough and trustworthy. And I am confident that they will make sure my car is safe to drive before I leave the shop. Thank you!

This was my first time at Phillips Auto Repair, and I am so beyond happy with the service they provided! I was nervous to look for a new mechanic because I have next to zero knowledge about vehicles, but my experience here took that stress away. I immediately called my husband after picking up my car, and told him that this is where we re taking our vehicles from now on! Everyone I interacted with was so kind and friendly, and you can tell they care about their customers. After looking over my vehicle, Brian called me and thoroughly explained what issues they noticed, what he felt was urgent, and what he felt could wait and for how long it could wait. He made sure to give me all of the information so I could make an informed decision about my vehicle, and you can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work. They completed their work in a timely fashion, and the prices seem very fair!! I cannot recommend this shop enough. Thank you so much for your help!

Was my 1st visit at Phillips. I was impressed by their service. I waited during my car's repair and heard Kathy and Brian treat each customer with respect. My old Highlander was also treated well and the repair cost was competitive and reasonable. I plan to be a return customerService: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

My wife and I have used Phillips Auto for a number of years. I have always been pleased with their competence, reliability and customer service. I needed a local mechanic that demonstrated professionalism and who could give me piece of mind when it came to our vehicles. Phillips has been great!

A a single diabetic Vietnam Veteran who has used this business before with no problem, I require a ride. I scheduled an appointment based on that premise and reminded them that I would require a ride home as always. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that I had been scheduled to "wait." I explained that that would mean I might have to wait from 0800 until 1700, They agreed that that was a possibility and offered to find me a ride if I could "hang out." I agreed, but not being told how long I'd have to "hang out," I mentioned that, and suggested they might have to call me a cab. I added that I had not yet taken my insulin. The good news was that my ride was ready, the bad news was that I made the mistake of suggesting a remedy by making note in their computer that I was a customer who always required a ride. I was told they do not, but I made the mistake of asking if there was any other way to avoid the miscommunication in the future. In the past, I had patiently waited months and driven over 100 miles, one way, to meet an appointment diligently working with their schedule to negotiate a ride. I did this because of the quality of their service but mostly because of the reputation ED Phillips had built within the community. In this case Phillips' son and presumptive owner only became irritated with me inferring that I shut-up and take the ride or he would gladly get me my keys and I could go elsewhere which he actually did. On the way out the door, I was told that I was not being very nice while they hadn't even bothered to express regret regarding their part in creating the situation to begin with. As I received my keys from Phillips' son, I was essentially told to leave, take my business down the road and don't come back. Their business model is clearly, and abruptly: Take it or leave it and for God's sake don't open your mouth. This young owner clearly recognizes zero reason to reconcile differences to provide better customer service as he and his associate appear tunnel visioned regarding their own immediate feelings over that of the customer particularly if that customer has special needs, is disabled, and dares to be in any way critical. Sadly, this reflects poorly, to me, on Ed Phillips who built the business, and it's not his fault. You may think I am angry, I am not, but as a decorated Marine combat veteran who has spilled his blood on foreign soil for this country, including those I encountered today I am grossly disappointed in the way we are still being treated, and that, in my opinion, is not only disrespectful, but it's not nice. I wish them well.

Phillips does an excellent job on any vehicle presented to them. 1978 Jeep CJ-5 in terrible shape, 2004 Mercedes Sprinter with major exhaust manifold issues were resolved at a very reasonable price. A new vehicle would receive excellent repairs or maintenance, like my new 2008 Honda CR-V with only 70,000 miles. I can not recommend this company more highly.

This is my first negative review I have left for any business. I m leaving this so hopefully it will save someone the time and headache that I had to go through. I took my car in to get a transmission flush and to check my brakes, I told them before they started working on my car that I wanted to see if it was safe to drive across country. Once they finished I had to ask if it was safe to drive because after they charged me I realized they hadn t mentioned anything about the brakes safety. When I asked the guy working there he said no way the car is beyond repair because of issues with the brakes, it s so old (1993 Lexus) that they don t make the parts anymore and I just need to scrap the car, and I only had 1000 miles left on my brakes. So first issue I have with this, if I hadn t gone back in and asked they wouldn t have told me how unsafe the car was and I would have kept driving it until my brakes just went out, second they charged me to look at the problem and tell me how they couldn t do anything, and third it was a complete lie. I got a second opinion from Clay at premier auto and he said absolutely he could fix the brakes. I took my car to him the next day and within a few days my brakes were fixed. Not only did Clay walk me through everything but he showed me the parts after and what he did exactly. I know hardly anything about cars, I m a female and hate to think I got screwed over and almost sold my car to a junk lot because a guy who I thought knew something about cars lied to me. Please avoid this mechanic. I would have respected them if they just were honest and said it would have been too tough of a job for them to do, but to lie and said it would be impossible and the parts aren t even available anymore is unacceptable and I have no idea how they can be in business. Take your car to premier auto if you want someone who will be honest with you and take care of your car.

Phillips Auto Repair diagnosed a problem that another auto shop could not detect. The bushings needed repair in our 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe. Shop was clean and personnel was polite and honest. We would recommend this shop.

Brian was very helpful over the phone, he listened to my story about my truck and quickly diagnosed my problem. Bad EGR Valve. Took it in the next day and had it replaced. Decent price, clean job and was ready to go as promised! I will go here from now on for any repairs.

Took my truck there to diagnose an oil leak, I thought it was the rear main seal. They diagnosed a leaky oil cooler and did that repair with my okay. It still leaked, so they replaced the oil pan gasket. It still leaks. So, $300+ dollars later, I still have a leak. They then suggested the valve covers were leaking. I replaced those gaskets myself. even though they looked fine. It still leaks.Took it another shop, guess what? It is a leaky rear main seal.Response to Phillips--you replaced the oil cooler seal not the cooler. Inv # 32204 2/5/14Oil Pan gasket Inv # 32282 2/18/14
