We (a family of four) only stayed there for one night about halfway through our 16-day road trip. It's a great starting point before seeing the big sights like Las Vegas, Death Valley, or Route 66. Lorrie and the boys have only recently taken over the campground and have put a lot of time, energy and, yes, love into it. The hookups are largely flat and level, the connections new and stable. The details make all the difference: insulated water outlets (not so bad in April) or simply a few paintings on the wall in the sanitary facilities. The WiFi runs via Starlink and performs well. The toilets/showers are nicely furnished and very clean (the ladies loved it) and the whole facility makes an open, friendly impression. Chloride itself is within walking distance and, unlike the surroundings of most other RV parks, has a "face" - there are a few nice tourist highlights and some liveliness in the place. We can recommend the park without hesitation and wish the team all the success for the future

Such a great little campground, well organized, clean, nice management, and very peaceful the two weekdays I spent there. Totally relaxing and around 4,000 ft, so cooler than surrounding areas. The town is fun to explore as well as hiking high into the mountain range to the east. Found some old mines and open mine shafts. I left going north and not far to more hiking right near the Hoover Dam and then into Vegas. Great little hideaway, I'd stay there again anytime.

Be warned they re cash only, however this RV park still exceeded our expectations. Super friendly and informative staff. Owners went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Bathrooms were super clean and the dog park looks like a fun and safe place to let your pup run free. Can t wait to go back and stay longer :)

What gem! If you need a place to overnight, do laundry, get a shower, dump, this is the place. It s clean and well maintained. It s not fancy but for $25 (dry camp) it is a bargain. Will definitely use it again when we travel this way.Fast WiFi down by office.

Amazing place to camp, pretty and quiet, with very good facilities. The lady of the place was also very nice and talked about a mural nearby that we would never get the experience to see if it wasn t for her. Lovely place, had a great time!

We stopped for one night on our way through. Very nice place. Clean facilities. Reasonable prices. Jackie went above and beyond to help us out. Friendly people. We highly recommend. They have full hookups and dry camping. Also water and dump station. Nice laundry and bathrooms. Wish we could find a place like that every night!

We just spent over a week at this park and can't say enough nice things about our experience. The owners, the manager Jackie, the workers including Jerry and Mark, and the guests were all so helpful and friendly. They have a great dog park, a very nice laundry room with the most reasonable rates and the cleanest restrooms we have ever seen. The town of Chloride is adorable and very historic and again, the people are so friendly. We loved our stay here and will be back.

The laundry, shower, and restroom facilities were nice and clean. Didn't feel comfortable using shower due to lack of ability to lock a door (only separated from public restroom by curtain).Host Jackie very friendly and helpful!Be sure to visit the Roy Purcel murals as well as take a walking tour of this artsy town.

Just visiting a family member that live there, it's not a bad place to visit it's kind of boring, but they do keep it the grounds clean.

This place is something...though I'm not sure what. At first glance it looks a bit like "whoops wrong spot" but it is a friendly place with sewer, water, electric (we use 30 amp) and clean bathrooms. Those that run the place are friendly and knowledgeable. This place also has fairly good internet but in our case at least, you have to ask. Friendly little town with one restaurant and no operating gas station. It is within range of Hoover Dam and Las Vegas and reasonable. Yes, I would stop there again.

Jackie is the epitome of hospitality! This was a great place to dry camp! The bathrooms were the cleanest I ve ever seen , you could eat off the floor! We had so much fun in Chloride and this RV park was the perfect base camp. They even have a dog park. Just two things I would point out, there s a bright street lamp over the dry camp area. It s good cause you can watch out for critters and see where you re going. It s quite bright though so bring an extra tarp or something to make your tent darker or just pull your beanie over your eyes like I did. Second, remember the desert is a mysterious creature and does mysterious things ..if you re going out and about tamper that tent down with railroad spikes and heavy rocks or you may come back to find it way up on the hill just as peaceful as a peach. A random dust devil or ghostly gust must of come through. Thank you Jackie for helping us find it. I will never forget it or stop giggling about it. We had pillows and an air mattress in there and there really wasn t a wind to speak of. I still have no idea how it managed to take flight . Dry camp has everything you need and the perfect fire pits. We can t wait to come back. I envy the people that live there. I sure didn t want to leave. See you soon

Stayed 1 night and it was awesome! Have a few spaces for overnight, most are long term. Owners and woman in the office were very nice. Walked to the mural 5 miles RT. Will stay again.

The manager was outstanding in showing us the area for dry camping. Good solid flat area, 2 large party areas, dumping station on site. Unfortunately no trees for shade or internet. Be nice as a stopping spot for dry camping. The RV Park itself is always filled. Only 20 minutes from Kingman AZ.

Yes, there are over night camping spots. I just moved here a month ago and am perfectly happy with the large spaces, the quality of my neighbors and the helpful and friendly management. I'm only sad that i spent a month in Bullhead City, up the road, paying far more for far less.

Best little RV park we have been to ,and we have been to our fair share. The price was 25 a night cash preferred. We stayed in short term which was small space up near the front of the park entrance. This was fine, because being our first time we wanted to be near the exit, when we got set up the assistant manager Rob who was a great host helped us get our power cord that had gotten wedged inside the wall. After that we had chance to go on into the small town of Chloride all looked like when it did back in the miner day.... loved the quiet star lite night and having the feeling of being nowhere but still only 30 miles from Bullhead city. That next morning after a peaceful sleep we awoke to the roosters and the sun coming up. We loved it so much that we opted to stay another night. Spent the next day sightseeing....not to far from the Grand Canyon also. Used the laundry facilities to our surprise 1 dollar for a wash and another for the dryer. Very clean and well kept....Great job...We are definitely coming back to this little gem...

Looking for late evening overnight stay. Scruffy, okie manager and his clone buddy told us they have not taken overnight guests in 2+ years. Despite RV Life app saying so with 4 star rating. Don't waste your time driving 10 miles round trip from highway. Went to Kingman KOA. No problems.

Ade, Liz Bradie & Brett SW tour July '18We loved this rustic little park and its people. Rick the manager was super friendly and helpful. The site was almost level and had full hook-up. Facilities were simple, clean and tidy. A big storm had taken its toll on the gravel but the owner was doing what he could to rectify. I wish that we could have stayed another night but the timetable was against us.Chloride was utterly charming, very authentic and populated by people who looked like they genuinely cared for one another in the face of adversity. The RV park had several really interesting Snowbird/retiree characters who were brilliant company. Have a good one guys.......We wish that we too could retire there, but its 5600miles from home........
