This was my first and last time proceeding with Gerber Chandler. I was in a collision last fall (2023), and I was referred to this location by the other parties insurance. Unfortunately, I was meet with a great amount of delays and unprofessional service. There were be times where I would be waiting for my appointments for more than 30 minutes past the scheduled time, there were notes and comments that were not communicated within a timely manner. I received faulty parts. I was also informed after completion of the repair I owed a deductible despite being informed that I was not required to make payments because I was the injured party during the collision. After the vehicle was repaired I began having electrical issues and I had to take it to another shop. Lone behold the shop informed me the electrical issues were caused by a pinched wire on the side that was repaired on. Do not recommend vehicle repair here.

BEWARE Don't go here, if you do make sure you have your car Jack in your vehicle upon receiving it, make sure they didn't ruin anything else, make sure they clean the interior might be dusty (oh but they cleaned the outside), make sure they put your vehicle decals back on if that is important to you!Might want to double check if you have your spare tire just in case and your user manual, antenna, anything they can pluck off that they find worth it to them.

dropped off my car on Wednesday and got it back Friday, everything s good with it and they worked hard to get it done by the weekend for meoffice staff are great! they have a sweet snow queen pothos in the lobby that looks amazing tooGeico picked me up for the rental and I dropped the rental car back there, super easy experience over all

Week 2: Told our car may be ready as early as Friday. but they'll call us Thursday either way to let us know. No callback, car not ready, we had to call them for an update Monday morning.Week 3: GUARANTEED there was "no way the repairs would go past November 4th" (end of week 5). The repairs are still not done as of November 12th.Week 4: Told our car may be ready as early as Friday. but they'll call us Thursday either way to let us know. EXACT SAME SITUATION AS WEEK 2.Week 5: Told Monday morning that all repairs were done and that they needed to do an alignment and some tests that should take a couple days. I called at the end of the week to find out the repairs were not all done, and that they ordered more parts the same day they told us repairs were done.Week 6: No update.Next week is week #7 and I still don't have my car, or an estimate on when it will be ready.Yes, they are busy. But they have reviews from 7 months ago saying the same thing. I've posted a picture of my vehicle damage to show the level of work needed.7 WEEKS, NO ESTIMATED COMPLETION, NO ACCURATE UPDATES.

Emily, Bonnie and the big boss were fantastic. Can t forget the true worker bees in the behind the scenes magic They listened, acted and treated me with the assurance my vehicle would be put back together better than imagined. DON'T GO HERE. This location is severely understaffed" (as they kept reminding me), and the staff they have is incompetent. Let me be your cautionary tale. I should've read the other reviews before taking my car here...-Though "no appointment was necessary", the shop didn't give an estimate for 4 WEEKS.-Claudia, the receptionist, is dismissive. She even laughed on the phone once when I asked about my car. She told me they have "hundreds of cars", she can't be bothered to "keep track of all of them", and that they've "had cars waiting for repairs that were brought in five months ago". (Probably shouldn't be taking any more cars? Just a thought.)-The actual bill was $17,167 for repairs, and I suspect they significantly overcharged. The pic of my car is below. You be the judge.--They were a month past the latest date they said they'd be finished by with zero apologies, and only one phone call to update me during the entire 12 weeks. The mechanic told me this job was "a nightmare". (Um, yes. You're telling me!)Services: Painting, Auto glass repair, Body & Trim, Welding

After over a year and a half wait for my side mirror to be replaced, it was quickly and efficiently taken care of by the new general manager Mallory. I had been given the run around by several apathetic, unconcerned and uncaring staff prior to her team taking over. Mallory listened, did not try to divert, and followed through perfectly. I had specifically picked this location as I had wonderful experiences in the past up until my last issue. Mallory and her team have completely turned it around again! Enitre office, including Management Emily and Zack were friendly and exceptional to work with. Restored front collison damage on a 2010 white Mercedes s550 to new. Big accomplishment on a complex and high-end vehicle. Thank you.

Poor body work as they installed a frosted left headlight along with a misaligned bumper to where the left side is lower than the right side bumper... This business mut be held accountable to correct the work without additional cost!!!

I had an appointment scheduled for this place for about one week. Monday morning i got a phone call from them 30 minutes before my appointment requesting to reschedule due to staffing shortages . The earliest that they would reschedule me was three weeks away and the lady, Gia was very rude. Instead of apologizing about the situation, she started arguing with me saying April 11th was two weeks away when i told her it was 3 weeks away. I dont know how good of work they do, but not worth going through them in my opinion just based on this.

this location is busy busy busy but, as long as you are a decent person with reasonable patience, you will not be left disappointed with this staff. lovely people, all of them are so pleasant. they are quick and efficient without sacrificing the quality of your interaction with them. i have great expectations for how the rest of my business with them will be

Vehicle was in for a lengthy repair after a collision. The parts for my vehicle were on back order which lead to the delay and were understandable and not the fault of Gerber.However after collecting the car in 1/11 I noticed several issues including overspray, and fender flares not being fitted correctly. The car was retuned on 1/30 to get these parts corrected and collected the car on 2/10.After collected the car on 2/10 the passenger door did not open from the inside and the window did not go down fully, and there was still overspray on the windows. Reported the issues again and scheduled to return the vehicle in March.Returned the vehicle on 3/10 to get the window/door/overspray issue fixed. Went back to collect the car on 3/24 only to discover it had been damaged again whilst parked in the Gerber parking lot.Spoke with the GM Jim Jorgensen on 3/24 who assured me my vehicle would be a priority and offered a dealer inspection and that he would follow up with an update. I never received a call back from the GM, who I was told left the company and the dealer inspection was never scheduled until I requested it again.Current status, the vehicle is still in line at dealership awaiting multipoint inspection. Still waiting for a call from the new GM.

The staff was friendly and the body work job was satisfactory. However, I was charged hundreds of dollars for a specific and unrelated repair that was done without my explicit permission. It would have been courteous for someone at the shop to have had a conversation with the car owner before proceeding with repairs.

Don t even bother to try this place. My mom has been waiting for this part (tail light) for almost 7 months now. We recently called and the front desk lady told us that the person that took care of us resigned and he left before ordering the part that we needed, and that she was going to order it for us and call us once its ready. I have not gotten a single call since then, like its honestly unbelievable. I would not recommend!

Rudest people I have ever met. Receptionist gave me a dirty look and asked what I was doing there. Said I had an appt and she said I didn't. Turns out their system was wrong. Adjuster did poor job on estimate, didn't say 5 words to me. Tried to talk to manager just blew me off and told me I couldn't leave the car and wouldn't schedule the repair. Worst customer service ever. Receptionist was rude on phone and hung up on us when we were asking questions like we were bugging her. Don't go there.

They were able to fix my issue, for a reasonable price. My car is an older car, so they understood that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. They gave me an estimate, and I elected to not fix one item.I know this is how repair shops work, bill a standard number of hours for labor based on a repair code. But, my repair took about 15-20 minutes of somebody's spare time,,and i was billed for about an hour. Not a huge deal, as I know these things even out for a repair shop over time, and my repair was not terribly expensive, but it just seems odd...I have used this shop before, and I would use them again.

Highly recommend if your vehicle needs their service. Their customer service is way above par and they keep you informed on their progress on your vehicle. As far as the work performance went, very pleased, our vehicle looks like new. Job well done in a short amount of time.

My insurance towed my car here (possible dead battery in this heat) and dropped it off the truck before I could stop them. My car wouldn t start that s all, it wasn t in an accident and the glass was intact therefore my Jeep never should have been brought here to begin with. However, despite this fact they were all amazing! They went out and tried to get it started and we re extremely helpful and kind. Being alone, from out of state, and it being on a holiday weekend I really really appreciate their help. Top notch professional service all the way!

The customer service at the Chandler location was wonderful. I liked that they kept me up to date by text (an option) on how my vehicle was doing. I got hit by two different people and they dealt with payment from both companies. They also helped me secure a rental car. I felt that my car was in good hands and they cared for me as well. My husband and I went to go look at it (before they opened so he could get to work) in the early morning and they had it locked behind a gate. Something that was a bummer at first but I loved that my car was safe overnight. I am a very picky customer so I believe the best review I could give to a company is "I would return and I would recommenced them". They definitely deserve both from me.

I haven't had an experience with a body shop in over 15 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service I received from my collision coordinator as well as the GM Russ. About a week after i picked up my car, there was an issue that went unseen during the initial repair. Russ didn't hesitate to fix the problem and work with the insurance company on my behalf to cover the cost. Overall, great experience!

I was satisfied at first because they finished earlier then promised but later on that day I ran into issues after picking up my wife's car. I wasn't able to get the fuel door open when I went to fuel up. After an hour of trying to figure it out I was able to find the electrical connector hanging out of the door panel right below the door panel they worked on. I had to fix that electronic fuel door switch and I am not happy.

My rear bumper was clipped by another driver and Gerber was the recommended body shop. Honestly, I had no issues with them. My car was ready in four days and looks like it just came of the showroom floor. Good service and quality work from what I can see. Lifetime warranty on the work done.

Had to get a new tail gate handle and I chose Gerber to get the part painted, and from the second I walked through the door Russ helped take care of everything! They offered fair prices, fast work, and it came out looking fantastic. They matched the paint color to my 18 year old pickup perfectly! I recommend this place for any body work! Great job guys! Thank you!

I took my car in because it was severely damaged from a hail storm and never thought it would look the same again. They were excellent to work with, assuring me they would take care of it. Russ, the manager and Gentry my service adviser couldn't have been more helpful. I received my car back as if it were brand new again. Very professional, I would recommend them highly.

My insurance set me up with this place, but I very quickly contacted my adjuster to get my repairs elsewhere. You guys really think I can just wait around TWO MONTHS after getting in an accident just to get an estimate? Go somewhere else.
