They were great! Fast friendly and efficient. They were able to get the work done for less than what they quoted me on the initial estimate. Wouldn t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Everything was great - service, prices were fair, and good communication - even being short staffed, they really did well to not overpromise anything in terms of time or ability to get things done in the same day - which worked out fine for me as well. The car was ready 3 hours earlier than they stated. Jared was super helpful - appreciated the extra efforts he did to ensure that I could get as much work done and helped me to prioritize what to be done first and saved some jobs for later in a few months.

Did not have a good experience. At the end of November of 22', we brought our vehicle in for squealing brakes. We were advised the rear pads (3mm) were lower than the front (6mm), so we had the rear pads replaced along with the rotors machined. Now, the interesting part begins...In the beginning of March 23', the brakes start squealing. We took it to Brakes Plus and during their inspection, front pads measure 7mm, the rear pads that were supposedly replaced just a few months prior also measured 7mm. So somehow, over the period�of just a few months, the front pads regained thickness, and the rears somehow went through an entire year of wear in just a few months (4000 miles). This is a crazy amount of wear in relation to the small amount of miles. Also, the notes from Brakes plus note a lot of rust on the rear rotors, which again is strange for only a few months in Arizona. I contacted the store Monday evening to express my concern. They did offer us to come in and take a look and warranty the work. However, I notified them I did not have trust in them, and asked for a different solution. The shop manager was not in at the time,�so they notified me that�I would be getting a call the next business day. After 2 full business days of not hearing a resolution, here I write my review of this shop. Do what you want with this information, I however do not trust the previous folks that worked at this shop (I was told everyone that worked at this shop during�this time, is no longer working here...also suspicious).

As long as I live here, I won t go anywhere else for my car maintenance they were AMAZING!! Joe and Nick were incredibly knowledgeable about all my repairs, talked me through everything, explained them thoroughly and prioritized each repair. I never felt any pressure or sales tactics felt like friends trying to help with my car. Afterward, my car is running great and I am forever grateful for my experience at this Brakemasters!!

I've never posted a review before, but I'm beyond pissed at this point. I took my car in to have the brakes replaced. A few weeks later I noticed brakes squealing again. I had these guys take another look at my car, and they told me nothing was wrong. I took it to another place and to my surprise the brakes are bear. That will be last time spending money here

Went there to get rotors turned. The day before Easter the rotors ended up being un turnable but they sold me new rotors and brakes no auto parts store needed

Went there to have my brakes checked out. They quoted me $500.00. But they couldn t do it that day and said I to leave it there so they could do it the following day even though I had made an appointment. So I left and went to Sun Devil Auto. Sun Devil Auto inspected the brakes and told me that I didn t even need new brakes. Brakemasters on Germann in Chandler is pitiful. Don t go there!!!

They are pretty dang honest and do you right. I haven't had any major issues with them, and they have bent over backwards to help me hold the dealership to warranty work. I keep bringing both of my cars back because the work is good, affordable, and quick. I appreciate their help and willingness to explain things.

I have always done my own repairs on my car. Being able to take down a transmission would have been a little above my home mechanic skills, which lead me to reach out to this location. Base on the reviews (3.9 stars). This ease my decision about bringing my car to Brake Masters store 209.This is when I met Andrew from Brake Masters, who understood how wary I was with others working on my car. He assured me they would be able to handle this job no problem.After a few hours of them wrestling out my transmission, I was able to see why I had the noise and transmission issues. Long story short, it was due to the throw-out bearing failing and in the process, it destroyed the snout that it slides on. The mechanic working on my car Matt and the shop advisor Andrew showed me the issue and had a few recommendations to avoid replacing the whole transmission. 1. Idea was to have a local machine shop smooth out the damage snout or 2. Cut off the damaged snout, fix, and re-weld it on. Subaru in their infinite wisdom made the whole bell housing one piece.Since it was Saturday I would have to wait till Monday to get word back on how much this would cost and therefore my day was over, the car would sit there and wait.Here is where I started to have issues with the methods of the shop.1. I saw how the car brake lines ( mind you they are stainless steel) were just hanging with the rotor pulling on the line. I had to ask them to not do that as it will potentially cause damage.a. Fixed (so far not mad)Over two days, I was able to discover this issue with my transmission is common, and there was a fix for this. I ordered that part that would fix the snout via Stainless steel sleeve and oversize bearing. This will cover the damaged area and possibly prevent this from happening again for some time. I felt this was a better option then welding back the repair pieces only for it to happen again.I delivered the part to the mechanic, he then had my car done by the next day. Now I get a call from the service advisor Andrew telling me the car is ready for pick up. However it will not stay on, no big deal I thought it might be the Tune that I have temporally on the car while it gets serviced (valet mode, makes sure you don t joy rid my car basically). Still not a big deal I advise Andrew and I was still overjoyed I was getting my car back.When I arrived Andrew stated the issue was resolved and the car is running normal, I guess they had not set the inter-cooler hoses properly and therefore causing it to not stay on after the car started. Again still not worried.However, Once Was driving it home I heard a strange transmission or clunk noise when I shifted or let off the gas. Thought this was strange, upon inspecting the car to see all the work done, I noticed the following1. Transmission oil leaking from the drain bolt2. Transmission mounts were loose3. Transmission fluid was on the low mark4. Shifter cables mounts also loose5. Exhaust was not tightened down6. Exhaust leaks from the mid-pipe.7. Oil residue all over the undercarriage (Icing on the cake)!I called and spoke with Andrew,This is what I was told why didn t I bring it back right away, they would have gone over and re-tighten everything down. He gave me a price break and could have charged me more of the amount of work. I asked him, so there is nothing you can do besides tell me you're sorry and offer a free oil change? and I received was sorry but there nothing I can do for you other than that.So after I spent my own time replacing the fluid that was used for my transmission, re-checking all the work that was done and spending my own money to get an alignment since they didn t bother to check after removing my front rotors to do the transmission change. I am over trusting a shop like this ever again!I hope you do not take your care there for anything but basic maintenance if at that. The level of quality that was done on my car was pathetic and I hope to god the Better business bureau looks into this as well.Service: Transmission

I am so happy with the service I received at Brake Masters. My brakes have been squeaky since I had them replaced, over a year ago at another business. I brought my car to Brake Masters last week to have them checked. My brake pads were still good, but the rotors are glazed over. I was told it doesn t affect the performance of my brakes, so I didn t have to replace them. I love the honesty at this Brake Masters!The new manager, Ron, recommended replacing my back brakes if I cannot deal with the squeaking. That s what I did and I am thrilled. No more embarrassing squeak! Thank you Ron and team! You are the best!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

Took my car to this location on Monday. Figured out on Wednesday when my wife drove it for the first time that it wasn't running right. So I pulled the drip stick out and it was over filled by about a inch over the full line. Went down to this location and they were very unsympathetic to the situation and even thought it was funny when I asked about a refund for the service I had to have them do twice. Make sure you double check there work, it could cost you down the line for a simple task that they didn't perform right. I will never return to this location after how I was treated and talked down too. Can't give 0 stars.....Service: Oil change

Everytime I go in there, (which is pretty often since I put a lot of miles on my car commuting) they have always been extremely accommodating and have great customer service. They make sure your getting the best pricing and have coupons often which is always nice to save a buck here and there! I also just had my air conditioning recharged and checked, which I 10/10 recommend my life is so much better with COLD air in this Arizona heat. Don t waste your time. I scheduled an appointment. Brought my car at the appointed time. They told me they would take a half day to assess & repair the breaks. I called 6 hours later & they hadn t even assessed my car, let alone start the repairs. I know for certain they put another truck ahead of me that did not have an appointment. When I questioned why they did this. They replied with a lie and excuses. Nothing was done to correct my concern. Just a lot of excuses. STAY AWAY!!!!!Service: Auto brake repair

I love taking my car here for literally whatever I need done on it. I have been bringing it to this location for oil changes for a couple years now, and they always do such thorough work. The manager is SO nice, and he makes any experience with them so easy and smooth. They always have affordable prices, and I really appreciate their hard work and communication with every service! Hands down this was the best experience I have had in a long time. My daughter & I went there knowing breaks had to be fixed, however we had additional car troubles on the way. We were greeted by Jeff, explained the situation. He listened, and assured they would take a look at everything. Come to find out the repairs were going to cost more than the car was worth. so we passed on the work & decided to have the car towed. Another mechanic at the shop offered to buy the vehicle from us since we were going to donate it. We were just do grateful for their patience with us. If you want to hear WHY NOT to come to this store READ FULL REVIEW. Otherwise SKIP TO the END to get LOCATION OF GREAT SERVICE.I don t care how many stars this store has! Their 4.1 is a joke! I came into this store expecting basic service and they couldn t even do that. I m surprised they even gave me an oil change!I came in wanting to get my truck inspected + get an oil change. With any Oil Change or service from this company you get an free inspection they check things out to make sure you don t need other repairs + they offer a free tire rotation with a purchase of any service.None of these were completed! I was told The Tech had no recommendations at this time! When the hell has a mechanic shop never wanted to upsell? Offer at least a New Cabin Air filter? They also couldn t do my tire rotation because they didn t have the Power Drill to unscrew my lug nuts!The service at this store was ridiculous! I left paying 85$ for an oil change but with none of the services Brake Masters is known for offering theirs customers.If they could have -Negative Stars I wouldn t give a -5 Stars!Don t WASTE YOUR TIME! Go to Store #169 Ryan and John will make sure your vehicle is taken care of and services properly.Service: Oil change

Had front brakes done, no problem but when they asked me to have my brakes flushed and bleed, I agreed. Once I got the or invoice I was blown away by the charge on Dot 3 Brake fuild. They charged me $40 for a 16oz can. These are outrageous charges, much like what our government does to us. Should not happen in the business sector. This is highway robbery!!!!

We have always had a great experience going here for any of our cars. They do a well job and are detailed. What I really like is the fact that they will always take care of the car the same day but I don't know if that is standard procedure. Another benefit is that you can set up an appointment but they will always take your car with an appointment and still service it the same day.
