These guys saved the day! Cant believe I even considered having my truck towed to the dealership. My insurance company USAA recommended I take it to Wilhelm. Then when the tow truck driver arrived, he commented that Wilhelm Automotive was a great choice. Ryan and team sent pictures of all the parts needing replaced under the front end of my 2016 Dodge Ram. They had it ready for me to pick up in less than 24 hours. And I expected it to cost a lot more than it did.Thanks WilhelmDan M - Care Free AZ

Brandon and company did a great job. My new "go to" auto place. Another company recommended $1200.+ worth of work and these experts said "they couldn't in good conscience" perform the work as it didn't need it. A breath of fresh air in todays world. Highly recommended.

This was a routine maintenance visit. We have worked with Wilhelm in Cave Creek and the predecessor operation for over 10 years. They have always been very professional and very fair in their recommendations. We never feel like work is being jammed on us to build up the invoice. We have a pretty high end sports car they care for and they bring strong experience and expertise to their work with the car. Highly recommended.

I purchased a new truck and decided I wanted to change the rims. After talking to many people this shop was recommended to me. The staff here is amazing I could not thank them enough for their patience, kindness, and honesty through everything. I got some rims to be put onto my truck and didn t realize I needed to buy new nuts for them since they were missing on mine. I Ran to the shop down the street to purchase some once we realized they were missing. After purchasing some I brought them to the shop to find out I goofed and bought the wrong ones which was 100 percent my mistake. The mechanic and I were able to locate the correct ones to purchase and I was able to go run up to the store and grab the correct ones. The guys were so patient with me and wanted to make sure my car was safe, that I had it done properly, and that I was happy with it. What more could you ask for in a shop. I don t think I would ever go anywhere else but this shop for all my mechanical needs. Thank you again Robert, Samuel, and team for everything. I love the new rims!!

The experience was great in that the service and the personnel were professional, timely, informative and very attentive to the needs and concerns of the customer about their vehicles. We are always pleased with our car service at this location and it never ceases to fail in providing a pleasant and comfortable environment for all. Thank you to the entire team for promoting a spirit of safety for our roads and highways and mostly for the well-being of the customer.

While visiting friends in Cave Creek we needed to have an oil change and related services to our car. I was surprised and pleased when I received a detailed service report explaining the various things they checked as part of their routine service. Included in their service report were pictures showing a potential future service need. I greatly appreciated Wilhelm pointing this out to me and felt the notification instilled trust when considering future service requirements.

I had a tire starting to lose air and called Wilhelm Automotive in Cave Creek. Got the car in and Ryan and the team had the tire fixed quickly, squeezing me in during a busy day without an appointment. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thanks Ryan for taking care of my tire issue so quickly!

Wonderful experience. Great friendly staff. Work well done. Super multi point inspection standard with photos. Work finished at promised time. They even went extra and drove me to my volunteer job as I had no ride. Highly recommended and nice to keep work local and with an independent small business. I will be back. Thanks to y'all.

I have used Wilhelm Auto for many years (dating back to previous ownership) and have just now recently come back to them after moving back to the Cave Creek/Carefree and the service has not missed a beat since I've been away. This is the best auto repair company I have ever dealt with. Total honesty, and they keep you appraised of potential issues. Shuttle service, and complete the job on time. Service at the Cave Creek location has always been dependable and they are friendly! However, this time I had brake pads / rotors done and they forgot to put a clamp on the back right rotor. If not on, it make a rattling vibration noise. Not sure how they forgot to put that on! They had to order the part and then I had to go back to put the clamp on, so inconvenient! Also had another issue I had asked them to look at, and they never addressed the issue, they forgot to look at it! Not happy this time:(Services: Tire rotations, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Exceptional service and very honest. I have a somewhat modified car used for racing and they worked with me to fix a harness versus replacing the whole thing which would have easily been $1,500 or more. Thank you so much.

This was the worst service experience of my life. This operation lied, cheated and stole my money. Incorrectly diagnosed a coolant leak charging me over $2,000 to find out I only needed a new cap for the radiator

They have done good work 2x times for my family; however the last time they asked us to pay more than they estimate claiming I was not clear with what I was asking them to do. In the end they only got an additional $100.00; at the cost of creating consternation for me and my family. Was $100.00 worth it for them? Without that irritation my review would be a 5 star review which I intended to leave after the first repair they did for me. I will go back again, we all make mistakes. It is difficult to find a good auto mechanic that you believe in.

Wilhelm Automotive in Cave Creek is the most trustworthy auto repair shop that I have ever been to! Extremely knowledgeable, fair and friendly. They do not try and take advantage of you and sell you services that you do not need. I have been more than once and they are my permanent go-to shop. Definitely worth trying out! Great people!!

We had a wonderful experience with Wilhelm Automotive. Our 2012 Audi A5 had been sitting for over a year and wouldn't start.They thoroughly inspected the vehicle and determined what needed to be done and got us back business with a fully inspected and serviced car. I got the car in to them and was hoping to get it back a few days later, if we got lucky. I got a call later that same day from Sam that it was ready to go and back in good shape.It was a really nice experience for me going local instead of to the huge dealerships (nothing wrong with the big dealerships, just wanting a different experience on my end this time). Wilhelm had that old-timey feel, yet fully modern in their capacity and sophistication and customer service. Wilhelm, we're lucky to have you in Cave Creek.
