We were traveling from San Diego, CA to Tuscon, AZ and our Check Engine light flashed. We stopped at Discount Auto Care because of the good reviews. They diagnosed a ruptured Valve Cover Gasket. They fixed and cleaned up our engine. Back on the road in less then 4 hrs. Great bunch of mechanics. Thank you Discount Auto Care.

To say we are devastated would be an understatement. Our car was taken in for a power steering leak, a minor oil leak and worn brake pads. Other things were also worked on making it a $2600 bill. Only ONE MONTH later, the check engine came on. We took it back in to have them check to see if something they worked on was messing up creating the light to come on since we hadn't seen that light on before. We were called the next day to be told there was absolutely NO OIL in the engine, that they engine must be burning through oil and we could be given a estimate on a rebuilt engine. Absolutely shocked. We were told the car could still be driven but would need to constantly put oil in it. To add even more insult, they told us "make sure you bring oil to put in it when you pick it up". $2700 to now have a car that is basically ruined. This car did NOT do this before they worked on it. The car had a rebuilt engine put in in 2016 and barely had 15,000 miles put on it. As mentioned above, they fixed the oil leak ONE MONTH prior. What are the odds??

Very very rude people, the manager was extremely rude to me when I was there when I left my stabilitrack needed serviced and it did not need it before I went there all I asked was my oil to be changed I was not happy with the results of what was happening when I drove from Casa Grande to Chandler because my traction control is messed up in my vehicle do not go to this place, you will regret it. Because when I called to talk to them about it they were extremely rude on the phone and denying that having an oil change caused my stability track to have problems when it was not having any problems at all before I went there!

While traveling in the area we needed car repair so stopped here. They were able to work us in, very polite and efficient. Got us in and back on the road in an hour and a half after replacing the thermostat at a very reasonable rate.

Just had my car in to be worked on.Got it back with a few issues I was concerned about. Called and the first guy I spoke to was super nice and understanding. The manager jimmy called me back. He was so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL to me. He wouldn t let me explain my concern, he was talking over me. And said I was making a big deal out of nothing when I started to get frustrated.Will never go back. Worst customer experience!! Especially to a customer who just paid over 900 dollars for service! Shame on you for being that way to people.

Needed repair work on a mini van (170K miles). Very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the repairs. I do a lot of "minor" maintenance and repairs on my own. However, for repairs needing more experience and expertise...I will definitely come back to Discount Car Care. I'm sure there will be people that will often be negative on any price the are quoted for repairs, but for me I found the price quoted very fair and reasonable. Thank you, Discount Car Care.

Great service. I was given the run around for my AC. Jimmy took GREAT care of me. Prices very affordable also. I'm new to the area and I've found my mechanic.

While at a nearby business my battery died . I walked over to Discount Care Care and they accompanied me to my car and determined a new battery was needed. Elizabeth in the office was very friendly and helpful and kept me updated on the delivery status of a new battery. Elizabeth and Omar had me back on the road as soon as the battery arrived and saved my day. Thank you Elizabeth and Omar. GratefulService: Battery

I dropped my car off around 8:30am for a diagnostic and within 2 hours I got a call with results and an estimate. The price sounded good so I agreed to the repairs. They had it done and ready for pickup at 2pm. Staff was polite and willing to answer questions.

Called this place at the beginning of this year due to the reviews and hype from cg chat stating how great & fast they were. Called and spoke with Jimmy .. Told him what happened with my vehicle..he seemed friendly so I had my vehicle towed to the shop, called over a course of 6 months to check in with my vehicle since it was a difficult one.. I was very patient & didn't get upset with him once, they put in a rebuilt computer, made 2 new keys & replaced a coil for a total of $523 & some change. Now, I wasn't upset at ALL until I came in this afternoon to pay my part because I'm honestly tired of waiting for my vehicle when I heard the reviews were just exceptional .. And my experience was the complete opposite :( all I wanted to know was exactly what was done to my vehicle since I'm paying these people that much and my vehicle STILL ISN'T RUNNING, Benito (very friendly & patient) was explaining this to me as I was confused and asking questions he still was kind regardless of it not running still, but boy oh boy.. Jimmy was a bit anxious and rude, not to say that my car was NOT even put back together properly adding "ive had your car for about a year already" (YES JIMMY YOU HAVE & ITS BEEN PARKED THERE, NOT WORKING!!!), the oil gasket hanging off the bottom, and the ignition covers still completely off- Honestly fed up and just wanted to be done with these people. Never will I recommend this place.

I brought a Ford Tarus to them for diagnosis as it was the closest place I could get to. We ended up taking our car elsewhere after the owner charged us $40 to tell us what we already knew about the car and then tried to charge us over $250 for a battery replacement. I actually felt bad for the mechanic because his conversations with me were logical and he seemed like a good guy. The owner has very bad business skills, was abrasive and rude. We ended up paying $40 for nothing to be done so can't speak to the quality of work had they actually done anything.

These guys do good work. They are not perfect. When they did my oil change the first time, some employee put the wrong side oil filter on my vehicle. All the oil and leaked out. I went to another shop and they redid work and power washed my undercarriage. I re return to Discount and told them what happened. They admitted the mistake and made me financially whole again.

Stay away from this place!!! They charge a arm and a leg, I called for a quote and said it will be $1500 to replace only my front rotors and pads and a neck filler, it was about 2 or 3 hours of labor and under $350 for parts called another shop and gave me a quote for $732 same Job. I will stay far away from these sharks

The guys at this shop are super helpful ! Benito and jimmy are quick to answer questions and really looks to find the best way to help every time. I took my vehicle in one afternoon for issues with a/c and my rear windows, not three hours later they had found the problem and fixed it! Gus and josh are great at what they do thanks guys!

Went here for an oil change while I was in town and they did good. It didn't take an unnecessary amount of time to do the oil change and it was a great price (got referred by somewhere else so I think its gave me a discount. Either way cheapest oil change I've had in a while

These guys work hard for their customer!I recommended this place to my Aunt who broke down in front of my house with her RV from out of town over the winter. She got some ridiculous quote from the Ford dealer first when I had her try here. Discount Car Care saved her so much time, money and headache... very much appreciated. Thank you

These are a bunch of kids. They have no order. They lie. And obviously don't care about service. If you want a serious mechanic . I suggest not coming here. They can't even call you back . They don't order parts. And if you want lug nuts they take 3 hours. Pathetic . I would rate them at negative 1, the guys name is nick. And the parts guy apparently there are 2.

We took our truck there yesterday because it was make a strange noise from the brake area- said it was repaired but when we inspected it this morning all they did was unplug where the noise was coming from and added some other part! I plugged it back in and the noise is still there, so I got charged for unnecessary work and I still have the same problem! Shady shop if that s what they call repair work. If you couldn t fix it , you could have had the decency to say it , not charge me for something that I didn t need!Service: Brake service & repair

You have to STOP HERE FIRST. I did a ton of runnin around trying to find a shop confident in their abilities and willing to give my truck some driveability attention. Mentioned my struggles to a friend at the local salvage yard who then told me about Discount Car Care. He said I would NOT regret it, and he was right. Friendly, professional, courteous and more than confident in their abilities. I feel a friendship there that you are more than a customer. They truly love and enjoy what they do and their skillset is unsurpassed. Stop in and tell Jimmy whats goin on, I am certain you will be as pleased as I am. Cannot recommend highly enough. Customer service with a smile and a fair price. I personally thank you Jimmy, I will always come here first.

I took my truck there just the other day and now my truck ain't workin!!! This place doesn't even check the fluids!!! I had my brakes calipers don't there and they never even filled the brake fluid container on the truck!!! It was left below half!!! I won't ever recommended discount car care to anybody!!!! Hallelujah Amen

I'm sorry to say this shop is bad....I dtopped my Jeep there for repair...was told by Nick that they were taking care of my vehicle....so as if this morning still no repair done ....he told me for a few days now he was taking care of my vehicle...I stated that I have car sheild...and his guy was on it. And in the end he was not doing anything to my vehicle..so picked up today and have it at the dealership in scottsdale...and i will pick up tomorrow morning all finished up. And even washed ....now that is how this shop should follow ...so. Do not recommend this place .....

This place has NO ONE CERTIFIED ESPECIALLY DEALERSHIP CERTIFIED, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Owner says 100 yr experiance ask him to prove & SHOW YOU CERTIFICATIONS. That Jimmy what real piece of work . Is that the same guy whos a CHOMO ?The 100 yrs exp. IN THE PICTURE, NO ONE IS THERE ANYMORE, I SUGGEST GO WHERE THEY DONT GUESS AND JUST REPLACE PARTS.

Bad Customer service from the owner/manager. Would not recommend this place to change your oil or any other service due to their bad customer service.
