Had a leak on my Dodge grand caravan and brought it in to AAMCO on miller. They charged me 200$ and replaced the oil filter 15$ part. The invoice says 179.99 for cleaning the engine. When I received my car it was worse then when I dropped it off.They said they couldn t clean all of it and blew it with a air hose, but just couldn t clean the whole thing. Should I be charged if they didn t clean it and it is still leaking.Pictures show the Van after picking it up driving home 5miles.When bringing it back they said it was 200$ to clean the inside of the oil filter housing. Said they would give me 200$ towards fixing the leak that I already paid 200$ for them to fix.

Our transmission crew are top notch 45 years of experience, they have been with me for over 12 years Our general crew it s taken a bit I ve found 1 good mechanic in Buckeye and the two I had from Buckeye were not who they said they were and we parted company. This is where Im retiring and plan to be here for a long time ! So it my goal to be the best I can be and make sure you re happy ! AAMCO replaced my entire transmission of my SUV and they were very transparent and informative while completing the work. The owner didn't treat me like 'just another customer' when we spoke during the process. He was very personable and genuine the entire time. If you're reading this then you're probably about to endure the same costly repairs that comes with transmission repair jobs. The good news is you don't have to worry about being taken 'for a ride ' and end up up paying additional unforeseen costs that unfortunately goes hand-in-hand in that industry. They have a great team over there at AAMCO.

While seeing everyone else have such a great experience, I chose to use this shop as a place to get an in depth inspection done on a project vehicle I have recently bought. I did not have a positive experience. I was in no rush to complete this inspection so I told them to take however long they need. It seemed that the very first day I dropped it off, they did part of the inspection, calling to let me know what they found. I pointed out that there was some notes I left with the receptionist that I explicitly wanted looked at and the mechanic said he didn t bother looking at them and that he was done with the car. Then I didn t hear from them about completing the inspection or when I could pick up my vehicle. After several attempts of me reaching out, they finally gave me a quote for several different jobs and I chose what route I wanted to take with pricing. They call me the next day saying I need to pick up my car and they refuse to do the work. Alright no problem, a little weird but I pay for the inspection and then find that they left my door open on the car overnight and killed my battery. I personally will not be returning. Hopefully they treat you better than they did me.

Danny was supper helpful and very professional! I brought in my 2017 Volkswagen Jetta I told him the problem it had and he got my car running brand new efficiently and quickly! This place is trustworthy and their work is great! Thank you so much Danny for the help I will definitely refer my family and friends to this place!

Great location! Front desk clerk was very helpful and kind. The Owner is very involved with the operations. They swapped my transmission and the car is running like new. Made it very simple.

After the dealership quoted me over $8k for a transmission replacement, I brought my truck here for a second opinion. I went in expecting to only need a fluid flush. Danny was knowledgeable and was able to correct my misunderstanding and diagnose my vehicle as having a busted torque converter.He upgraded what he could to make it bombproof, and it drives much better. It shifts much better, appreciable smoothness in acceleration, and most importantly, the Chevy Shudder is gone. I drove the truck back to Texas (~1200miles) and the transmission has been great.If my truck continues to function like this, I'll be a very happy customer.

I would highly recommend this AAMCO to anyone who needs fast, friendly and efficient auto care. I was visiting from California during Thanksgiving week when my transmission died and I was so upset. Steve was able to narrow the problem and recommended I tow it to the nearest Mitsubishi dealership in Phoenix because it was under the factory warranty. No cost to me, kind words of reassurance, and helpful directions to East Phoenix!

I went in after hitting some debris on the I-10 and hearing a grating, terrible noise that convinced me I was gonna be out hundreds of dollars. A drive and blubbering cry fest later, I was at AAMCO. One mechanic put his lunch on hold for me, checked the issue, and made one tiny fix that he refused to accept payment for. He wouldn't even take a tip, saying it only cost him a clip and five minutes. They may not have charged me for this trip, but they now have my business for life.

I've had mostly good experiences here, depending on if the owner knows I'm here or not, otherwise if none of the employees recognize me, it's two stars... They're almost always super busy and for good reason, it's tough to get help in this area and at times they've gone the extra mile for me

Everyone was very helpful and saved us a lot of money. They did quality work and took very good care of us and also kept contact with us about how the work was progressing.6 months later still having problems with the work done and the financing will cost you over double what the bill is, run very fast away from here, I would push that damn car 100 miles before I had any more work done here, again run away very fast!

Great experience dealing with Danny. He went the extra mile, he went as far as driving into Phoenix after hours to trouble shoot a problem even after the service from the shop had been completed. Highly recommend Danny and Aamco Buckeye. Price is good and service quality is exceptional. Will use Aamco Buckeye in the future.

I loved my experience here. Honesty is huge in repair shops. After the Firestone on Pebble Creek lied to us about repairs and services we didn't need. Misty gave great customer service and confirmed we did need those repairs the other place said we did. Thank you!

I had a great experience with this shop. They replaced my clutch and found the cause of the failure. All repairs were made and Misty was very helpful in working with the warranty company that was supposed to cover the car. I ended up paying for the repair but that was out of the control of aamco. Turns out there were some parts missing in the transmission when I bought the car that caused the clutch to fail. Although I ended up paying, the first shop I went to tried to charge me twice what aamco did for the same job. I am very satisfied with the service I received here and would recommend them to anyone who needs work.Service: Transmission

This shop is top notch. Misty is not only an incredibly hard worker, she is so honest and helpful. The mechanics are so knowledgeable and professional. It s a rare shop and thankful it was brought to Buckeye. I wish I would have been able to meet the owner. It s not everyday that employees talk so highly of their boss especially when he isn t in ear shot.

My check engine light was on. Danny determined it was my catalytic converter and sensors. The problem is now taken care of but most importantly several hundred dollars less than the other major auto repair shops wanted to charge. Since it is my only car, Danny arranged a driver to take me home and pick me up when my car was finished. Missy did a great job of keeping me updated at all times. I highly recommend Danny and his crew.Service: Exhaust

I was referred this Aamco from a close friend and i'm glad he did. They were able to fix our issues quickly and for a very reasonable price. They even provided a service to drive me home after I dropped my car off to them at 7am. Misty in the office was very informative while my car was there for repairs and Danny the owner was great to work with. The owner I believe is very nice and he checked my vehicle out for a few days. He stated my convertor was bad. Another placw said it wasn't. However both these places were not so correct. I went to Christian brothers a had a whole diagnosis of different items ammco or the other place stated to me. My car needs 8000 in work and everything was sent by pictures to me to show the defects of my car. Sorry but customer services is a very big factor and that is something very good here however the actually work being told to what you need to do for the car is a different ball game. Wish you all the best with your business

Danny is the man!! I m so glad I stopped by and got my vehicle serviced by his crew. I brought in my 2014 Camry I told him the situation with my car and got my car running like new! It s hard to trust mechanic shops but trust me this shop is honest, trustworthy and will do what s right for the customer! I appreciate you guys!

My 19 yo daughter was traveling across country, when her car gave out on her. Luckily she was able to coast into an AutoZone and they diagnosed the issue as being the Transmission (CVT). AAMCO just so happen to be right next door. It was later in the evening, so I traveled the 3 hours away to pick her up. AAMCO was already closed, but they did have a drop box and envelope for the keys. We left the car there and drove back home. The next morning I called them first thing, and they were more than understanding about our story. Misty, the customer rep, was the most genuine and kind person I've ever come across in the customer service industry, let alone the automotive industry. Her communication was not lacking one bit. She was upfront about the issue with the car, the cost, and timeframe to pick it up. She absolutely went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of, considering the circumstances. She even offered to stay after hours or come in on her day off to accommodate us for driving from out of town. The transmission was ordered, replaced, and the car was ready to go, all within the same week that we left it there, less than 4 days to be exact. When we arrived to pick up the car, we were greeted with open arms and big bright smile. AAMCO, and Misty especially, made what could and should have been a daunting and extremely stressful situation, very manageable and pleasant. From there, my daughter drove the car and continued to her original destination and then back home. She said it has never driven so well!Service: Transmission

After receiving a diagnostic for "transmission" related repairs from Earnhardt Honda in Avondale, I became very suspicious about this find given I had brought it in for a new clutch. My vehicle is a 2015 Honda fit with only 89k miles. I called around several shops spoke to different professionals in the business and came upon Danny at AAMCO in Buckeye. He quoted me a great price over the phone and he made me feel like he was a trustworthy business owner. I brought my vehicle in and asked to please very that my vehicle only needed a cluth replacement not a transmission related repair. Danny confirmed my suspensions and I gave the green light to proceed with the repairs. I am confident that I have found a trustworthy mechanic to sevice my vehicle from here on out. I can't say enough good things about this establishment, better yet Danny does not have a commission based compensation for the mechanic for at the shop. This tidbit cemented my gut feeling of being at the right place!
