Update: There arent photos of the bathroom in the VRBO listing but the cabin DOES have its own bathroom and it is very modern and has a huge shower (no tub).Managers were responsive and home was spotless. Everything that was needed was in the home. Nice fluffy towels and the mattress was so comfy. (New, soft yet firm foam mattress.) The noise from the highway that others have mentioned was very very faint and not an issue. There is a fan setting on the minisplit IF youre extremely sensitive to the highway sound. But living in town would be louder than the faint sounds here. We couldn't find the tv remote and it looks like you'd need Roku to watch anything at all, but that wasn't an issue for us so we didnt ask.Kitchen was well stocked. The only advice we could suggest is maybe a light over the bathroom mirror and a hook and eye to catch the gap on the bathroom door? But those were such minor things and the stay was "100% will rent again!" We hope you develop more cabins!Nearby activities: Karchner Caverns, Tombstone, Chricahua Mountains, Saguaro ParkSafety: Very safe and quiet RV park with cabinsWalkability: Not close enough to walk in town but there's plenty of space at the campground to get your steps in.Food & drinks: Dennys and Dickeys BBQ and San Pedro Golf Course restaurant are within walking distance. Plenty of places within driving distance.

Lee is so kind, and knowledgeable about important things to see while in town. Just stopped in on our way across country. Planned to stay two nights, and ended up booking a third. The little on site shop has DVDs for borrowing, books for trade, and even some ice cream. Showers and bathrooms were spotless. Can't say enough nice things about the owner she really is wonderful. This RV park is 10x better than anything else we saw in town which looked like RVs squished like sardines into a parking lot.

We stayed for 9 months, for hubby's work. It is right behind the interstate. Between the traffic, rumble strips on the interstate and the train, that runs all night and feral cats running rampant, in the campground, I wouldn't recommend. Now for the money situation, Shannon knew that we could possibly leave, due to a transfer at work, She informed her host, after we paid for a whole month, there would be NO PARTIAL REFUNDS! So we lost 2 weeks of money, 300 dollars, because they are money hungry! We had to throw a2ay items that we stored under our skirt, under our 5th wheel, because Tammy, the guest host would turn on the outside water spicket and let it run all night! It was soaked and mildewed! The grass was cut, around the campers, either. They had 2 washers and 1 working dryer. Every time they had an event there, the residents into the park was inconvenienced! You can see the closeness of the interstate, long grass and the wet spot under our camper in my pics! Also the water is sucky well water with no pressure and aw3ful taste and smell and clogged up the sprayers in the kitchen and bathroom!

UPDATE- The owner heard about our experience (below) and was horrified. The situation has now been resolved ten times over. While we didn't end up staying at the Red Barn, through the exchanges we have had with the owner since we are confident in recommending the Red Barn as one of those rare businesses that have a genuine owner that is dedicated to providing the best possible service and customer experience. A++------My wife and I are cycling around the world for a children's hospice charity, the US being country #28. We have cycled all day to reach the Red Barn, as it states tents are welcome (most state tents aren't welcome). Upon arrival, a less than friendly manager informed us that rents aren't welcome in July and August in case it rains, and we sued the owner for getting wet (we are from Scotland and are used to getting wet, regardless, we have a tent capable to whatever the weather gods throw at us). That said, there is no rain forecast for the next few days, but the manager wasn't prepared to allow us to stay or speak to the owner,

Such a surprising delight was driving through on a Sunday night. We first tried to stay at I-10 resort and they didn t take anyone without a reservation on Sunday. Red Barn was open and ready to except us on the dark night. As soon as you drive in, it s instantly felt like this property is loved . The staff is amazing and the barn was just wonderful to quietly get school work done. This will be a definite we when drive by again. Oh go check out tombstone too. Check out the bathrooms in the barn, someone added special touches to everything.

This is a quaint little rv park that has about the best customer service I've seen in a while. The park manager Brooke is an absolute gem! For 2 weeks, I watched this gal work 7 days a week. Every question, issue, request from the campers & the owners was addressed promptly, courteously & with a smile. Whatever they're paying her, it isn't nearly enough - honestly, she's a dynamo & never takes a break! The campground itself is undergoing various needed upgrades & they seem to be making good progress. We really enjoyed the weekend concerts in the event center on the property! What a neat treat! I hope we'll have the chance to stop back through in the spring.

Stayed there for one night. New owners (Dell and Shannon I think?) were great and very accommodating. From what I understand they have made MAJOR improvements from when they bought the park and it shows. They are still completing some improvements so will be even better as time passes. The only drawback for us was the freeway is right next to the park so pretty noisy. There were also a fair amount of goatheads on the ground so my dog had a bit of a hard time. Other than that would highly recommend!

A great place for family and friends to come together, I have been here only a couple of months residing in Arizona from NYC and have felt comfortable like being home. The campground and the facilities are well maintained, very clean bathroom and showers, free WifI, laundromat facility, a dance hall with live country music. There is a manager and staff on site 24/7, the campground is easy to reach and less then a 1/4 mile from I - 10, the RV slots are easy to pull through or back into. The shopping areas are less than 1.5 miles and opened every day of the week including a municipal park with courts for those who are into family sports. There are a few interesting sites that Im looking forward to visit, will update my review at a latter date.

We stayed here for the first time with a small toy hauler in late January this year and felt completely at home! We ended up extending our stay from three nights to six when we found out that we could attend the Saturday night live band dance in the red barn, complimentary for us as campers. What a deal! The band was outstanding, the barn lit up inside like the best casual western-style venue I ve ever been to. And everyone there SO friendly even though we knew only the owners by face. We will definitely be back next winter after we check the live-band dates! Btw, yes it s next to a freeway so if you know you can t deal with that (it didn t keep us awake at all, and we didn t even try to block the rumbles of the trucks) then think it through before complaining lol. For us it was no problem at all. Also, this IS in Arizona, so beware of the tiny but very spiny bur-nut from a ground-hugging pest-weed with the Latin name Tribulus terrestris . Yes, they hurt sharply (!) and imbed in your flesh if you step on one barefoot so be cautious and don t walk barefoot. Dogs can wear booties too, even though it isn t fun having to protect ourselves from this nasty little seed! Eradication is essentially impossible, short of burning the ground everywhere, so Where I live we have way too much RAIN. And we learn to deal Loved the next-door horse ranch to walk by and enjoy, exploring easy-drive-distance downtown Benson, as well as Tombstone and Bisbee, the young honey mesquite trees the owners have planted at each camp site, and the incredible welcoming atmosphere including the awesome facilities (fantastic bathrooms and showers) and very nice owners!! Good place for an overnight that takes Passport America. Don't let your GPS take you in, the short way is a bad dirt road, but the good way is nicely paved. The manager was very nice and the hookups were good. Being right by the interstate it is not quiet, but worked well for us.

So I called to find out prices and about certain amenities and the person who answered was the rudest person I have ever talked to on the phone. I can tell you that I would never stay here after that phone call even if they gave me a weekend stay. The other RV parks in Benson atleast answer their phones respectfully asking the maybe customer with appreciation. I mean us customers are the ones most likely keeping your business afloat and paying your wages by staying at your business. I just want the owners to know I would definitely talk to whomever answer the phone on 11/18/21 from 11am -12pm as I don't have the exact time there but in that hour. That employee should either get a script to follow or something answer the phone and being as rude as she was just lost you a 10 day 9 night customer which I am sure is pretty good amount of $.

Barn is cute and red. Shower curtains blow in during use. Main reason for low score is that aside from barn it's fairly run down. With a little time spent moving trailer implements out of sight, and mowing, it'd be 3 stars easily. Pave the pads and it'd hit 4. 5 would require a ton of investment that's probably not worth it.

I had my sweet 16 here when it first re-opened under new management and it was a blast! The main barn and camp ground are done along with a new party barn where dances are hosted and you can rent it for anything. Definitely recommend it for all party needs

Love this place can't say enough good things about it ,but let me start by saying the owners are wonderful very helpful and caring. You can rent these really nice cabins and they have showers that are clean and updated. Nice area don't need to worry about your vehicle like you do at motels.

Called with just a couple hours notice. The place was level and in pristine condition. I've seen some people complain about the noise from the freeway and trains but you can't hear a thing from inside. Mac was very warm and welcoming. Such a nice man. We only stayed one night but if you're stopping thru for sure stay there. Plus you wake up and the view is breathtaking.

This is a good overnight park. Full hooks for $25. It is under new owners and management. You can see that it is in transition. It has potential, right now it's mostly worn out. But I believe it will be improved over time. It's not a destination, it's a stopping spot.I gave it 3 stars because it's rather tired looking, but it works.

Great camp ground for winter season in Arizona. New owners assumed property in 2020.Laundromat area needs improvements and club house needs major cleaning. Smelled very bad of cat urine.Area has great walking path through desert. Small town has lots of restaurants and small Walmart store. Not too far from major towns like Tucson about 30 minute drive.Tombstone is very close to visit old west.

I love this place, its not the newest there is no pool, the bathrooms are a little run down. However no one bothers me here, its a fantastic price, and even though he can talk your ear off the manager Mac is the kewlest. I think its a diamond in the ruff and enjoy walking my dog out in the desert. There is also a great gazebo where you can have barbeques! Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. <3

Convenient location with all of your needs: clean showers with hot water, a lounging area, and comfortable outdoor seating. Tent camping was comfortable, the community is friendly, and there was donuts on Sunday!
