This is a lovely camp with good thing to come. The manager Mike and his wife are the nicest people. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great visit. The showers and bathrooms are spotless. The parking spots are a generous size and the hooks ups are well placed. They also have the cabins if you need them. If you are going to Benson AZ this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

FOR PET OWNERSWhen we made the reservation we had no idea the rules they had regarding pets.Dogs are ONLY allowed to relieve themselves in the pet walk not on your site. Our problem was we were put on a site a long walk from the pet walk. Our dogs could never make it there in time. The other rule was that pets could not be left unattended in the RV. Thus we were not able to do any sightseeing while we stayed there. The good points were the showers were clean and nice and the laundry was clean and reasonably priced.

We rented the little cabin. Rooms were clean and similar to the other KOA we stayed in Las Vegas NM. This one slightly better though. Had a TV and the heater was a fake fireplace which was great at night because it threw off just enough light so you didn t have to turn the light on at night.Washrooms very clean. However it appeared it was recently renovated. They used quality materials but the workmanship was questionable. The stall and shower doors would stay ajar. Like wide open ajar. You had to close them to get by.Finally the prices seem high for what you get. A hotel is almost the same price. People rent these for different reasons, but for us it wasn t really worth it.

Perhaps I am spoiled by State Parks and other spacious private campgrounds. I feel like I am in a closet at this campsite. My rear view is a KOA cabin, feet away. I feel confined in all directions. I hear total conversations of my neighbors. Give me some space please The WiFI is very slow, not meeting my expectations.

We stay at KOA's frequently (it makes traveling as a family of 4 affordable). There are a few that are amazing, a few to avoid, and most are just ok. This one is ok. It's nearby some cool things, is peaceful, and has kind workers. However, the cabins need help. First time we stayed, on a 30 night, the heater proved to be broken and we were freezing. No discount offered. The second time we stayed, in warm weather, the bed was so decrepit that it squeaked with literally every movement. So much for sleep! The playground is a little lacking, too. The restrooms are clean, the store is organized, and the location is peaceful. Would be way better for RV or tent camping, though.

Felt a bit deceived when I arrived to find that many of the facilities their website said they had were not yet existent (currently under construction). The office was closed for 2 days as well due to staffing issues (according to a sign) so I can't speak to the helpfulness of the staff. I do feel they should have been transparent on their website about the fact that the campground is not done being built yet and that should have been reflected in the prices. Their lights were excessively bright as well. There was one shining into my tent all night.

The place is wide open views ,nice and clean rv sites. Unfortunately I don t see that many rv on site , hope they get more business. Restroom is clean and laundry room is really nice and cold they even have the ac on @65, the price for washer and dryer are reasonable compared to other KOAs. We enjoyed staying and had nice time there.

Wonderful campground! Nice, clean sites that were level with a new picnic table, some with trees. Garbage drops were close and camouflaged. Nice playground. The cabins were adorable, each with a porch swing. Cute, little dog park. Main building had clean laundry, restrooms, a game room with pool table, and a small store with souvenirs and essentials you may have forgotten.Staff was delightful and accommodating. We changed our reservation twice, once we arrived, with no trouble at all. Readily answered questions about camp or the surrounding area. They have some nice improvements and programs planned. When the pool is completed this summer it will be near perfect. Right now it s too cool to swim and the views make up for it anyway. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a good KOA for an overnight stay!I think it s overpriced for what they have but we needed a place to stay for an overnight stop. They don t really have a playground for kids it s 2 swings. They do have a fenced in dog park and they have a dog walk. They do have burs so be careful when walking your dog on the grass, they tell you to walk them on the rocks or dirt. Bathrooms seem new or newly renovated, they were nice with nice water pressure. 2 showers and 2 toilets in the female bathroom. My husband said there is only 1 shower in the male room. I didn t use but the prices are low. $1.75 for regular wash or $2 for deep and only .25 cents for drying!Good space between the person beside you.To get here you do drive on a dirt road to come back to the KOA.Go to Tombstone only 33 mins away!!I recommend for an overnight stay.

Nice enough. We did find it very odd and inconvenient they left the main lights on at the front of the building all night. They are incredibly bright. Other than that, bathrooms could use an upgrade. Seems like they are working hard to improve the grounds. Should be nice when done.

Nice, fairly quiet park about half mile off of I-10. Keep in mind that this is December so the place was mostly empty. If you travel much these days you'll know that many parks have a high percentage of long-term, if not semi-permanent folks and this place is no different though they tend to segregate the 2 factions here. Expect around $57/night, maybe more in warmer season. Benson is a small town, 5,500 or so but has everything you'll likely need. A big surprise to me was just how many RV parks there are here, so unless you're a dedicated KOA member I'd advise shopping around; I'm sure you can do better. Still, I enjoyed my stay here and I'd very likely stay again. If you have kids/pets you'll be happy to know they have dedicated areas for playground and pets, BBQ pits and walking trails

Very quiet stay. It's a smaller KOA and everyone was nice, workers were helpful. I didn't care for driving on their gravel driveway, its super deep with the gravel and they keep their tall street style lights on all night which are VERY bright so we had to pull our van forward to get away from the light. Bathrooms are kept locked and they give you a code to use the shower/bathrooms which are very clean.. Overall it was a pleasant stay, we were there to visit Tombstone AZ (25 minutes away) ended up having breakfast at the nearby Dennys which is literally a mile away.

We were here for 2 nights. There was only one other RV near us, so we enjoyed a very quiet stay. The staff was friendly and the views were nice. The amenities could be improved upon , especially if traveling with kids. We spent our time sightseeing and away from camp, so that didnt effect us much. It is close to Tombstone (30 minutes), which was an awesome time. There are camps closer to this attraction we may consider next time just bc of proximity. Overall, we would return if ever passing through again!

It was under construction at the time I was here ( 1st week of December). I give the stars because of the friendly and very pleasant staff. The sites are tight from front to back and side to side like many other KOA's. Spent a week here and enjoyed the views, which b were kind of new to me being from the north east. They have a dog park that is mostly gravel/ dirt, but at least the dogs can get off leash. Small play ground and clean well kept laundromat. It's about hall and hour drive to Tombstone and 45 mins to Tuscon.Playground: Small, one slide one swing I think, not enclosed.Dog-friendliness: They allow dogs, on leash of course and have a small dog park.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. It is obvious they are working hard making improvements: updating mini-golf, getting a new pool, widened lot sizes, absolutely beautiful new bathrooms. This one's a keeper. We will return. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. Nice!

Stayed for 2 nights while we explored Bisbee and Tombstone. Site was perfect for us at 53' long and a car parked next to RV. Gravel roads in and all around area. Level site. Very few amenities but I don't use them anyway so I didn't care. Good area to walk my 2 dogs and also look for scorpions at night, didn't find any but lots of nests around the area. Easy to find and get too and all employees are nice and friendly and helpful. Has a small playground with a tether ball! 1 of only a few in the park during our stay and half the park was under remodel along with the pool.

We've been all over western states. First 5 star review for campsite. My only complaint is a need for ventilation in the laundry room. When I was folding my clothes, it was so hot I thought I was going to pass out, and that was at 9pm. The lots are spacious. We had plenty of room between lots and room for our truck. The dog lot was the largest I've seen so far. Our power never surged like other places. Someone showed my husband to our spot, and he came out to see us as we were leaving.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week, driving from California. We arrived late, but everything was setup. We loved that it is off the road - very quiet! Great signage so even late at night we had no issue finding it. It is clear they are working on changes so it will be interesting to see what they do. We would definitely go back again!

They are working on upgrading this campground and when they are done it will be really nice! The bathrooms are clean and have been remodeled. The only negative thing is that the sinks are very high and there is no low sink for people using a wheelchair.

This gets a 4 for several reasons. The manager is super friendly and was able to talk about the area. The park is away from the railroad tracks and interstate. Most of the others are very close and trains run thru the town day and night. They blow their whistles as required by law. I could hear it at the KOA but it would be louder closer to the track. The reason it only got a 4 . No swimming pool. They hope to have that in by next winter season. Then, I ll give it a 5.

This was a quiet place with very few visitors. We only stayed overnight here. The kids enjoyed the pool and the playground. And we all had fun playing tetherball! Oh and it was fun seeing the rabbits! The park seems to be working hard to make facility improvements. Keep up the good work!

We stayed one night before heading to Apache Flats RV at Fort Huachuca. We were given a space on the south side- there was just one other RV on that side. The restrooms were recently renovated and very clean. However, the grounds are lacking a little maintenance. The park looks like weeds were taking over and because it is the "first impressions" area, it does not do the park any justice. Despite, I would stay here again. We felt safe as well. The long term residents are on the opposite side of the park.
