In my Unique situation, John was very helpful. The lobby was very clean and comfortable. The discount I was given is also appreciated. If you are having problems with your car and don't want to go to a dealership, I can only say to that. You're a fool for not coming here.

Very happy I came to this location. My brakes went out suddenly so I came in for a check. They took a look at my van and diagnosed the issue fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the manager John went above and beyond to help and answer all my questions. They repaired my brakes and got me back on the road. I would highly recommend this shop for vehicle repairs and will definitely be back when I m in need of mechanical help with my van.

The store manager John was wonderful! Gunnar who did the oil change on my truck tightened the clamp for my coolant and let john know about something that needed to be replaced. I was not pressured to hurry up and replace it he told me what needed to be done and showed me why and then the price and work was included in my paperwork. That is so important to me as a woman going into a shop that they don t pressure me and treat me with respect.

I will never go anywhere else again. I observed the technician provide a quote to a customer. After some time he came to let her know the parts were LESS expensive than quoted and he will adjust the estimate. This shows to me the honesty and integrity this company has.

John and his crew are the best at what they do! I had them replace the drag link and replace brakes on my RAM 2500HD 4x4.Absolutely superb job, and professionalism! I highly recommend them for any suspension or brake repair! KUDOS John!

Love this place. The guys are friendly and the manager is honest about mechanical issues. They do very good work and I check with them first if there are any issues with my vehicles. Costs are reasonable.

My Granddaughter and I brought her first car in to check the ac. John told us that we needed an appointment but then he took us in right away. That was huge. We decided to take our car in for an oil change and actually gave us more than the coupon discount and replaced both the air and cabin filters for free. Both times we were in other customers came in just to say how pleased they were that John and his crew went over and above what was needed. These guys are the best in the East Valley.

They checked my brakes and said they were still good, unusual for most mechanics, then did my oil change. They were very professional and helpful. Happy to recommend them to anyone. I forgot my metal water glass and they texted me an said it would be behind the counter. Went back and got it. Appreciate their customer centric attitude.

Brake Masters were quickly able to service our vehicle's brake system. Resurfaced our rotors and swapped out pads. In addition, they adjusted eBrake and flushed out the brake fluid. No audible noise under brake application and pedal feels firm. Paid 450$ for service and they rotated my tires for free.Very satisfied with results! Thanks guys!!

I recommend this location mainly because of John the store manager. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, professional and goes beyond expectations. On time service at a competitive price and quality. The services are quick too and less hassle getting appointments as needed. Even some Toyota dealers around the area don t send info to Carfax inspite of maintaining big showrooms. Small stuff goes a long way. These guys do.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance

Very quick and convenient. I scheduled my appointment. They got me in earlier than scheduled. Only took an hour for two break and rotor change outs along with a tire rotation. Great customer service.

BrakeWell ..being as it is now six months later and I don t have that truck anymore because I was tired of working on it. Let me tell you what happened. I decided to take my 2011 Chevy Silverado to them. as I was explaining what was going on with it they said they would look into it, They worked on it for eight hours and then told me it was good to go. As soon as I left the shop with my truck I drove down the street to go get my wife from work I tried to stop and it was like I had to pump the brakes up until I could actually stop because I almost blew through a red light. I already forked out $600 and some change for it to get it done and I almost got into an accident because of the work they said they did it on it. I took it back to the shop and they said oh that doesn t make any sense. It wasn t doing it this morning, go ahead and leave it overnight and we ll get it done the next day so I did. The next morning I get there because they said it was ready to go. I get in it same issues. At this time I m wondering if they are actually people that work on breaks And have I really spent all this money when I should ve taken it to someone else. So they said well leave it here and we will figure it out and then we re going to crunch some numbers and find out what else we have to get for it and then I asked them I said, so I m not gonna get charged crazy money? Because the other guys at brakes plus wanted to charge me around 1200 or $1600 and he said oh absolutely not we won t charge you that much. Granted I already spent 600+ dollars on this then they came back with the estimate on how much it would cost to replace everything else they wanted thought might be the issue. They then tell me $900 For more stuff. At this point I feel as if they re just trying to throw more money at it and not actually know if they re gonna fix it or not. So at that point I ended up saying you know what, never mind I m just gonna take my truck the way it is and I ended up selling it. What a waste of money, I highly recommend you take your vehicle back to a dealership or find a better mechanic because now I m driving around a different truck. Do you know the funny thing is? I figured out what it was. The ABS control module that was all the issues with everything. I also replaced the hubs on the front. And it cost me less than $600. But in reality actually cost me 1200 because I could ve done the job myself which I already tried to do but I figured a mechanic might have more resources to work on something especially since they said that they would definitely get it working and wouldn t charge me as much as brakes plus but ended up charging me the same amount of money if they were gonna have to do the job. Just very sad and it sucks because it had a brand new engine in it too and I was really trying to get it fixed so I didn t have to buy another truck and they said you shouldn t have to do that we ll fix your brakes and you ll be good to go.

I thought I had a stone stuck, but as the noise got worse, they found that a caliper broke. They took care of me and fixed my truck. Also, they helped me with dropping and picking up. Thank you so much!

Went in for a Free Brake Inspection since my Check Brake System light came on. It turns out it was low voltage on my car battery and affecting the sensors. They went the extra mile and called O Reilly s across the street and checked the warranty on my car battery I bought from them. They had a new battery delivered to Brake Masters and they installed a new battery that was under warranty and I didn t have to pay for a new one.But, I also had my rotors replaced since I was there and had not had a brake service done on my 2014 Ford Explorer before. Definitely will come back to this location when I need them again! John, the owner, is a really nice guy!Services: Brake service & repair, Battery

I called them to make an appointment to have my jeep aligned after I lifted it myself. The lady on the phone was nice and worked with me on finding the best day and time. I like that they don't have a window for appointment but a set time. I arrived at my set time and within the time frame they told me it will be done, was done. They told me the do just about anything except tires, including lift kits, fire those of you who want to have that done on your vehicle. They were polite and easy to work with, friendly and funny. Good environment I would say. Definitely will keep them in mind for future work.

Very friendly!! In the midst of their busy schedule they still took me in to check on the ac , and gave me an honest and fair price for the work. Extremely friendly staff that were a pleasure to work with, this was my first experience with any auto shop and they've set my expectations very high for the next one I visit!

I had my car towed to this Brake Masters 167 in Apache Junction as I had diagnostic test done at another place an they said I had a blown head gasket, (and they don't do repairs there thank goodness). At Brake Masters they like to do there own diagnostic test and I'm so happy they did because it wasn't the head gasket it was the water pump so instead of a whooping $2,500-3,500 bill it was a $ 710.00 bill. So I highly recommend this Brake Masters 167 in Apache Junction for your car care needs. I want to take this time to thank John Tatum the store Manager & his team @ Brake Masters 167 for there honesty & getting my car repaired in a timely manner. Jami M.

12-4-21 ( Engine Installation ) Engine cost $1,500 / Labor $1,554.791-5-22 ( Remove & Replace Oil Pan Gasket ) Parts & Labor $320.99 They had my vehicle for 3 daysAfter I received my vehicle back, it still had an oil leak. Took it to the Brake Masters on Southern Ave & was told it was a rear main seal. I was told by 3 different mechanics, at 3 different businesses & the shop the engine was purchased from that a "good" mechanic" automatically knows to replace both the rear main seal & oil pan gasket on a used engine before installation. Took vehicle to Midas on Alma School Rd where work was done on 1-20-22. Still had oil leak. Took vehicle back to Midas on 1-31-21 where they diagnosed timing cover gasket was pinched on the lower part of the gasket against oil pan gasket causing bending on the lower portion. And the metal on the timing cover gasket got detached causing oil leak. They also replaced the oil pan gasket with a new one & said the one on it was not new. Pics show oil pan gasket & blue gel sealant on timing cover gasket that was removed at Midas. I was told whoever installed my engine did not know what they were doing. Serpentine belt also had to be replaced because that was rubbing on something it shouldn't have been rubbing on. I would think for what I paid in parts & labor that this place would have the professionalism & knowledge to insure my engine was installed & maintained properly. I think the problem here is they are over booked & rush jobs to have a quicker turnover. That's me biting my tongue on what should really be said about what I paid for & expected from these backyard mechanicsService: Engine repair

Took my suv for alignment, upon returning home (30 mins away) find out they forgot to reinstall my skid plate, had to return to get done, very unpleasant and unfriendly front person, no apology no nothing!

I worked with the Store Manager, John Tatum, what a great guy! .. I had my car in for an A/C diagnostic check. I was in there and out in no time. John was straight forward and honest, he went out of his way to make sure everything was done properly and gave me information on payment options. John has redeemed Brake Masters for me. There are still good mechanics out there who know how to recruit and keep other good mechanics. I grew up in the muscle car era during the 60s and 70s. John reminds me of my older brother, if it's not running, something's broke he's gonna dig until he finds the problem and fixes it.. even it costs a couple stitches and time.Thank you BM, me and the hound dog will see ya!!

I just moved to AJ from Indiana and needed my emissions tested and repaired. Brake Masters was highly recommended by a friend so we brought our van in for service. John is very thorough and fair. His staff are very nice and Kat at the service desk even gave me a ride home while they worked on my car. I will definitely go back for my future maintenance and repairs!
