Great service, everyone working is a professional and complete work quickly and efficiently. They provided me with free oil change when I had a small issue with a previous job. Would recommend to anyone needing auto work.

Brought my car here to have the heat fixed. It blew cold air only. The next day, when we called about it, they told us that they were not sure what was actually wrong with it but that it was "working better and I should just try it" Who does that???Since I was moving out of state soon, I had no time to bring it to another mechanic to get it fixed, so I had to drive back to the northeast with no heat...

these guys are freaking awesome, they don t charge a lot and they do great work and fast, didn t believe it until i took my 2020 Chrysler 300 there and they didn t charge a arm and a leg definitely a place to go if you re on a budget for quality work

My 2010 Scion XD was running slow and engine light and one more light are on. I don t have my mechanic in Apache Junction area. I live in 55+ community and everyone that I talked to refer me to AJ Auto Care. This morning I took my vehicle at 8:30am and they fixed it before noon. I am taking my Ford Van next year to get some stuff done. They are fast and very knowledgeable.

Been using Hector and his crew for 15+ years. Did an engine swap on my old Jeep. Did the transmission on my Mustang. Fixed my daughter's truck for $80 after another shop said she needed a new engine. Most honest shop I have ever found. My family has been taken care of by AJ auto for years. I was so thankful back when we found them and they have always been fair, kind, honest, and all I was looking for in a mechanic, especially as years of being a single mom and woman.I have also always been remembered when I return from out of state and this time Hector even remembered my vechile I had just purchased before I left a year and a half ago.Always a pleasure doing business at AJ auto because I know my vechile is taken care of and safe.Thanks so much for all you do to keep my family safe and taken care of...Updated....still the best mechanics I know, I've driven cross country and had to get services done, which is so challenging to find someone i can trust,. I am excited to make it back so I know my truck is taken care of right.Thank you!!!.

Truck pulling 5th wheel decided to blow hot air. Called Hector Mon. morning 8:00am. By 3:00 pm new compressor was installed and my wife and I were happy campers! Brought my pop-up in to have some holes drilled for an electric winch. When I returned not only was the holes drilled but Mark had put the winch on as well. Adding a part I needed but didn't have. Hector is absolutly wonderful. I have taken many vehicles through the years to him, since my boys were toddlers! I knew nothing about mechanics which was scary as a struggling single mom. He was always honest, if it didn't need fixed he would tell me or give me options. He also let me buy my own parts and take in and just charged labor. I trust him for all my vehicles! Great honest service! Now my boys are taking their own trucks to him. You don't need a big overpriced dealer to get great service!

Hector and his crew are top notch repairmen! My family has been going to his shop for close to 2 decades for all our maintenance needs. I recently had them install an electric fan kit on my '06 Canyon and fix an A/C issue I was having with it, and they did an amazing job getting it back on the road! If anyone needs work done on almost any vehicle, A J Auto Care is the place for you. They are $120/hr for labor for installation of parts you provide, and he'll also do a cash discount over using a card so ask about that. Can't recommend this shop enough!

Staff is very courteous, friendly and professional. Work was performed in a very timely manner. But the price?? $1300.00 for an engine tune up was a month's pay for me! They did however throw in a free oil change for me the next morning.

I took my car in to have the air conditioning fixed. When I drove it home, I noticed a burning smell and an unusual sound coming from the engine.I took it to a different mechanic and they found the oil cap off and dipstick removed. It wasn't part of the work order, but most definitely had been removed while the car was in their possession.They won't take responsibility for it. It was careless and cost me an additional 100 dollars to repair. I would absolutely wave off anyone looking for a shop with integrity and competence.The engine could have seized. I could have been stranded. No one opened the hood of the car either before or after the service.Stay away from this shop.Service: Air conditioning

As long as Hector owns the shop he will have my business. 100% the most honest and down to earth person you will ever meet. His mechanics are top notch. As a single female it is always a challenge to find a repair shop that doesn't see easy $$$ when a woman walks in. I am never over charged, and the job is done right every time. Was told by a dealer that they didn't have time for me when my check engine light came on. Drove to AJ auto care, took them 2 minutes to tell me what was up. I was scared, big bearded guy.... Tough as nails, these gentlemen were honest, caring, and saw me as a human being that was in a time of need. Awesome people! If you need an honest mechanic, see them first. It's worth it!

I took my 2005 Toyota tundra to them to have the carrier bearing checked and the timing belt checked. They told me that my carrier bearing was good and could wait to be replaced. My timing belt on the other hand needed to be replaced. I went ahead and had them replace my timing belt and carrier bearing just for my peace of mind. Honest mechanic and great service they even gave me a ride home when I did not have it. I would recommend them.Service: Auto maintenance

Nice people but I would not reccomend. they have 0 communication with there customers ZERO! They do not diagnos anything but what you tell them. which is not normal for a mechanic. The 1st time I brought my truck in It sat there for 3 months for a 1 day bushing job. The 2nd time I brought it back to give them another chance, it sat for 2 weeks. I called to see if it was ready and They asked me what was wrong with it, when I had already told them." They lost my paperwork" then i leave their lot after a leak repair and there's an engine sqeak, as if they couldnt call and ask me if i wanted it fix it, which i would prefer a mechanic to do. Do not reccomend to anyone who wants there vehicle work on within a time limit, efficiently and reliably.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

First time using AJ and was totally satisfied, prices were competitive and the guys were very down to eart and knowledgeable. Jimmy was great and so was Xavier gave me a ride home and a pickup when my car was ready. Didnt have the pleasure of meeting Hector but he was very helpful over the phone. My car would not start. I had the car towed to A J Auto Repair. Within hours Hector told me the sad news the engine had blown. I thought now I have to buy a new car which I really did not want to do. Hector said to let him see if he could locate an engine for my car. He found one on a Monday and I had my car back to me on Wednesday. How's that for fast service. Thank you Hector, I will not trust my car to anyone else.Service: Engine repair

Hector owns AJ Auto Care and he is incredible to work with. There has been an issue that has persisted for such a long time on my vehicle and he is equally persistent on taking care of the damages. I work in claims insurance and am very familiar with body shops and how difficult they can be, but Hector and his crew are consistently reliable, reasonable pricing, and trustworthy. I'd recommend considering them for your auto repairs.

I first visited AJ Auto Care 35 yrs ago.Hector was great,fair and honest.Today, I needed a jump.Jimmy came and jumped the battery, took it to his garage andchecked all fluids and tire pressure. Kept the car for an hour to be sure all was OK. The car had been in storage for 6 months and was filthy. He returned it all washed and as shiny as it was when new.Talk about full service!! When I went to pay him, he said it was his good deed for the day.It is so important to do business with local people. A J's will be there when you need them. Thank you Jimmy and Hector.

Hector and his team are the only ones I will take my car to. I am extremely lacking when it comes to car knowledge and they have never once made me feel bad for calling with simple car questions, or taken advantage of it when it comes to repairs. They didn't even tell me I was out of blinker fluid! They do quality work and exemplary customer service. One of the last places left that makes you feel that a hand shake actually means something.

Great they get your car in and out of there in no time and you're back on the road before you knew it I've been going there for 30 years and Hector down there is a great guy. When I started going down there in the early 90s he was the head mechanic and now he's owns that place for probably 20 something years. If you need a mechanic you can trust go down there and ask for Hector

I needed quite a bit of work done on my breaks. I called ahead and they told me to come in around 1:30 I dropped it off. About 20 minutes later they called me to give me a rundown of what they needed to do and they had it all done by the end of the day. I feel like for all the work I had done it was a reasonable price. I know that taking it to the dealership instead would have probaly cost me a few hundred more dollars. They also told me that if I have any problems to bring it back and they will "make it right". No problems so far, my breaks haven't been this smooth in a few years!

Took my truck here to have a power booster put on and fuel filter put on they put on a broken booster and didn't put on my fuel filter drove a mile down the road and my truck stopped in the middle of the road and wouldn't move they charged me 200$ and then wanted to charge me another 200$ to put the booster on again would not go here again they don't know what there doing

I needed a coil replaced and it was in the back which was hard for me to reach. I brought my car in, it took them about 10 minutes to replace it and they didn't charge me anything. This was the 2nd time I've used them and both times have been great.Other places wanted to charge me $85 just to look at the car and do diagnostics.Great service and very friendly.
