Another great experience, needed an oil and fuel filter change. Scott got it in and out fast and did an excellent job as always. I don t plan on taking my truck anywhere else.

To be honest I was a little concerned bringing my daily driver truck to a smaller shop. I can happily say that, my concerns were unwarranted. The knowledgeable mechanic and thorough investigation skills of these guys made my worry about my truck go away. I really appreciate how understanding they were to a family struggling around the holidays. I highly recommend them to anyone who bought a truck and isn't the most mechanically inclined. I plan on taking my truck and, recommending my friends to take their truck here in the future. Give small shops a chance!

Update: took swickard gmc 45min to diagnose and fix truck, it was low coolant and power steering fluid! Took this guy 3hrs to not see that.Truck has been at his shop for 3weeks with zero communication and he won't answer the phone or return calls. As a buisness owner myself I feel this is 100% un called for.You confirmed when I saw you in your shop that you knew I had been calling but dud not return any calls. The noise was discussed in our conversation when I was in route to drop the truck off, you never once mentioned a appointment to me, I texted and left messages. Truck was dropped off October 16th or 17th. You told me you spent 3hrs looking it over for leaks or damage, when I got in the truck to leave it told me it had low coolant.....wonder if I have any marks under the truck in the morning.

Take your truck to Scott at Alaska Diesel repair!!Scott went out of his way to get my truck up and running with a time crunch. Not only did he fix the main issues he fixed some smaller issues that I didnt bring it to him for. He charged a far price for labor and was straight forward with the details. This is an up and coming shop with a ton of potential!Not only that he washed the truck and filled all the fluids.A++Thabk you Scott!

Scott and his team are awesome. They took care of my duramax and did the cp3 conversion. Very knowledgeable guy and he does really nice work. Went over the whole truck and even took time to check items I didn t ask for. Give these guys a shot they wont disappoint.

I would highly recommend AK Diesel repair and performance to anyone. I called scott got me in and my truck diagnosed quicker then I expected kept me in the loop on when parts arrived. He went above and beyond any other experience I've had with shops around the valley very honest knowledgeable and fair.
