When we called the auto club for our flat tire, this is who came to our rescue. Aaron (Willard's grandson) was very patient and helpful. He drove over 60 miles to find us, put our spare on for us (in the snow), followed us back to his shop in town, then repaired our tire for us. We're now off and running!

Highly recommend Willards!Aaron Brown and staff located my leaf springs and tires ASAP so I could get my RV mobile again after being stuck 3 days 67 miles towards the Yukon.Thank you gentlemen

Our RV broke down 15 miles outside of Tok around 7pm. Called 24 hr towing # and promptly a brand new towing semi arrived. Pleasant technician got us all hooked up w/i 30 min and a second tech brought out a service truck to tow our pull behind trailer. Even though the shop was very busy they worked on our rig and within 2 days and had us up and on our way. Great family run business!! Thank you so much!!

We were heading back to PA after a month touring through Alaska. Our truck needed some repairs so we stayed the night begging repair places to fix our truck so we could be on our way. Other places did not want to be bothered and shared they were weeks out for service. We came here and thank god we did. They pulled our truck right in and repaired it in under an hour. The cost was so reasonable I thought for sure they would have charged us more. Skip trying other places and just head here. Great service.

What a treasure! When our RV lost power steering and braking after crossing the border into the U.S. on a rough, pothole-filled road, AlCan Legends towed us over 70 miles to their shop in Tok, AK and immediately started to search for the needed repair parts, get them there ASAP, then fix the problem and get us back on the road. We appreciate the excellent, experienced service and quick response. Highly recommend!Service: Auto brake repair

The guys at Willards were great. We blew 2 tires on our trailer right before the Alcan border and had to drag it there on the rims. One guy wanted $6,000 to tow it to Glenallen. Willards went up and repaired the trailer at the border and brought it down to continue repairs over the weekens. They arent even open on Sunday, but took care of us. Thanks guys! You fixed it when everyone else told us it could not be done!

Aaron runs a great service in Tok. Professional, friendly, competent and quick! They fixed our rv spring in time for us to get right back on the road for a reasonable rate. If you got beat up by the Alaska highway and need repairs then this is the place to go. We had a fitting break off in our RV hot water heater. I figured it would take at least several days to get the part and get it fixed. Tim had it fixed in about an hour. Then they serviced it and had it ready to go by three o'clock pm the same day. They are very reasonable on pricing. Can't say enough good about these guys. I highly, highly recommend them.

Cannot say enough how thankful we are for ALCAN Legends Auto and Towing! We blew out 2 tires 70 miles out of town. They came and got us, got our tires flown in from Fairbanks and on our BMW the next day. We truly felt as though they cared about us and went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. A family run business that made us feel like family. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need near Tok!

Our water pump on our pick up went out near Tok and luckily we were directed to Alcan Legends. They were amazing!! Helped us track down the parts, worked hard to get it shipped to Tok and got it installed when it finally arrived 5 days later.Roxie and the crew were beyond helpful and courteous! Highly recommend them! Thanks for getting us back on the road!

Thank you to Wayne at Alcan Legends Towing. The quality of service and courtesy shown to my partner and I after blowing out both our passenger side tires 40 miles from the Canadian border went a long ways to turn our day back right side up. Wayne showed great care in protecting our vehicle from damage during loading and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of once we arrived in Tok. Thank you to Dumond for collecting our replacement tires from Fairbanks the next day. Capacity willing, these folks would probably move a mountain for you if you asked nicely. What an excellent company!

Good service but not cheap.broke down way up around Chicken and had to be towed....cha ching....best advice is have AAA. And get the estimate in writing before getting the work done.my estimate went from 2500 to2700 to 3300 for a rear diff.replacement.get it in writing.

The site says they are always open, even had a local assure us that they could help us fix our tires even though it was a Sunday. The shop said it was going to cost more, which I understood because it was the weekend and was ok with, but then after refused to help. Drove 3 hours to get there because we were stranded which he was aware of and still refused to help. Go to Northern Energy down the road instead, extremely friendly and helped us right away

Werry grateful for the guys at Willard's . I cash my bike on Friday and they helped me out with recovery and the tow to their shop also helped me out to fix it and I was back on the road on Monday. Aaron lend me tools and even parts from his own bike. Just absolutely great guys never forget them. Thank you for everything.

I busted a coolant hose. They got me in fairly quickly and got it done.They are always swamped with people breaking down on these nasty roads but can still accommodate everyone.Friendly people as well.

My car wouldn t start after a night out in -50F so I gave Willard s a call and the owner came to help me out. 150 per hour for labor may seem high but it s only 50 more than Anchorage so it didn t bother me. The owner was really helpful, gave me lots of good advice and was one of the nicest mechanics I ve met. When I asked about whether I needed to add certain accessories to my vehicle to successfully get through Canada during the winter he didn t try to push me to buy anything; Seemed like an honest guy to me. The bill was very high, but that s the price you pay in rural Alaska. I only had electrical work done on my vehicle and it s worked out well so far, can t speak to their mechanical work.

Summer of 2002 I drove from Charlotte, NC to Homer, AK. Like a dummy, I drove my 94 Geo way too fast through the middle of nowhere. Hit a pothole going 110mph, and darn near flipped the car. Willard towed me 90 miles from the Alcan border. We listened to Louis L'Amour on tape the whole ride. I slept in my car that night while it was on the tow. Whole thing was surreal.Anyway, great service. Saved my hide. Fair "middle of damn nowhere to be getting a broken rim" prices. Nice folks, and appreciate the help.

I hit black ice on a bounce back from the Canadian Border (found some air, lost some traction) and ended up stranded 20 miles off of it (80 miles from Tok) with a rear tire folding inward. I caught a ride in to phone service and contacted my roadside service... who sent them the wrong way with the wrong information! Willard's was understanding of the situation; Adriana even called Geico to explain what was really happening. They came by and picked up the key from me promptly and had me on their bay later that evening. A couple of hours into the following morning, they showed me my problem--a broken lateral link. It was a waiting game for the part, but they had me on the road as soon as they had it and were transparent throughout the entire process! We can t say enough about Willard s Auto and the staff there!! They really saved our day and our trip! Our power steering fluid was leaking like crazy and then the brakes starting going out. We were so fortunate to make it to Tok and Willard s Auto! They took us right in and fixed the problem efficiently and at a fair price! They seemed very knowleable and seemed to enjoy their work. We are so thankful!!

If you want shoddy work, with high price - then this is the place. Had a transmission installed, after numerous delays & excuses. Then 1-1/2 hours from Tok to Whitehorse, transmission blew all to hell AGAIN! Nursed the M/H to Dawson Creek, with professional help & young man & family knew what they were doing. Final total transmission cost was $ 18,000.00 for both jobs. Watch out for the shop with greasy & scattered tools. STAY AWAY FROM WILLARD'S. If any mechanical break down again, tow me to Fairbanks!! Thank you & he has NO insurance on his workmanship!! 1/2 star would be a better rating, if that?????

We got a flat on our motorhome while in tok. It was 4:45pm. Williards closes at 5 but they stayed late to help us out. Fair enough prices, friendly people. We would have been stuck for the night if it wasn't for their kind service.Service: TiresService: Tires

We were traveling through Tok on our way to the Canadian border. All the oil suddenly drained out of our RV. We called Willard's and they quickly came out, identified the problem and were able to fix it quickly. Accessed the damage to my travel trailer late on Saturday afternoon. Traveled to Fairbanks for parts on Monday. Spent all day Tuesday repairing the damage, just like they said they would. And for the cost the projected on Saturday. Great group of guys. Thanks you, Aaron and everyone, for taking care of me and getting me in my way home.

Do NOT use this company. They charged our European friend (who cannot buy Roadside Assistance) $665 US to be pulled out of a rut 35 miles from Tok (not towed - pulled out). $150 callout; $7/mile $260; Fuel Surcharge $52; and time on site 1.5 hours $202. Opportunistic. Alaska at it's finest. Shame on them.

We had a rim sheer off the bolts on our boat trailer somewhere west of tok. We needed to catch the once a week ferry out of Haines. This was not the easy pound out studs hub . Mike worked hard to try and easy out broken off bolts. No bueno. This was a hub with oil bathed bearings. No replacement. They had a different style hub and made things work. We made the Ferry. Yes it was pricey but cost to miss very would have been a lot more in our situation.

Willard's has always done great work for me, and has been available "after hours". They have helped me out when all others were closed or didn't have the parts.
