What a day we had! We took the 6.5 hour tour and Conner was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! He is so personable, a wealth of knowledge, and knows all of the best places to stop. He also recited his favorite poem to us as we drove- pretty awesome! I highly recommend this company! It s locally owned by a couple and they have about 7 drivers. Our bus was newer, clean, and very comfortable. Conner also offers to take your pictures! Lunch was fantastic too! Worth the price- every cent!

We did the 2.5 hour White Pass Summit and City Tour on July 28, 2023. Aaron took us on an gorgeous drive up to the Yukon and Tormented Valley. His historical expertise and love for this area really showed. He personalized the trip according to our requests and interests, even drank from a waterfall. Amazing trip with an amazing guide. Highly recommend!

This is the tour company to book with. The price gets cheaper the closer you get to them. If you book through your cruise, expect to pay double. At the dock, pay 15% more. Direct at Broadway and 3rd in Skagway AK s the best. Did four hour Yukon and swinging bridge tour. Our tour guide Conner was extremely knowledgeable and helped everybody take photos.

If you re reading this that means you re most likely planning excursions for your cruise. Don t think twice about this one, book right away! - SKAGWAY WHITE PASS SUMMIT & BEYOND TOUR . The overall experience was enlightening and a delight. The sights we came across while on this tour was one of a kind and absolutely breath-taking. In addition, our tour guide, Garret, was exemplary. Nothing like someone who really knows and appreciates the area showing you around. A truly one of a kind experience, high recommend!Can u see the face of the bear in the mountain?

Our guide Gerry was kind and very knowledgeable. Gerry was the best tour guide we have ever had. We loved going up in the Yukon. We saw two black bear on the side of the road. The views along the ride were phenomenal! Well worth the price we paid. Thanks so much, Gerry!

Took a 20 person mini tour-bus around Skagway and surrounds stopping for pictures at many scenic places over 2 1/2 hours. Crossed into Canada briefly. Also stopped at Gold Rush Cemetery. Recommend this tour that had very friendly and knowlegeable guide.

We had a wonderful Yukoner tour while we were in Skagway for a day. I m glad we did not do the train as this tour was both cheaper and took us all the way to the Yukon border. Our driver and guide (Beth, I believe) was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Trip took about four hours and enjoyed the suspension bridge and photo opps. Recommend this tour and company if you want to see the highlights and like taking pics.

This is a 5 star local company. Smaller bus so can be very flexible. Tour guide very knowledgeable and took pics at each stop. Saw 4 bears!

If you want a small group feel or even a private (family & friends) tour this is an excellent company to consider. The buses are small compared to other companies in town. It is a mom & pop owned company and you can tell they treat their customers and employees great. The guides are attentive to everyones needs, funny and knowledgable. The chances of seeing wildlife are much better with Frontier than they are with the train tour. The guides I have interacted with are also helpful and creative with taking photos for their guests. I have rode along on all their tours and I can say they are GREAT! However the longer the tour the higher chance you have at seeing wildlife and more beautiful stops thru the Yukon and Skagway.

Andy your tour guide was fabulous! Way beyond what we expected in the tour he was very informative the whole way and just an absolute pleasure to be with! We were so glad that we chose this excursion over the train ride!

On our tour today we experienced a short drive into the Yukon and it was beautiful. However the tour felt very rushed due to a small group of people who continued to be late back to the bus during stops. We were encouraged to look for bears along the way but honestly at speeds of 60 + miles per hour that s hard to do. There were a couple of occasions we got behind other tour buses and were forced to travel much slower (and that was nice!). This tour felt like we were checking off stops and destinations and racing between them. Not what I expected and not really a wildlife watching tour in my opinion.

Had a great time with trail and float tour last week! Went with a group of 8 and Joe was the guide Very happy experience, highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour! Brook was the BEST!!! Learned so much on the tour. 6.5 hours was not long enough! I could have stayed and played much longer. Definitely, definitely put this on your must do!

Chose this company on a lark after wandering around Skagway for a bit last Wednesday the 7th, and I'm so glad I did! Everyone in the company was extremely accommodating and fun, and our tour guide on the Yukoner was fantastic. The tour was full of thrilling stops and beautiful vistas, and we got more than our money's worth. I'd go with them again in a heartbeat.

Message: Although we were unable to take our booked tour due to our cruise ship not making it into Skagway, I wanted to submit a review. The staff were very accommodating as we booked our tour by phone. They answered all our questions and provided detailed information. They even added a tour date for our group of five! When the ship cancelled the port of call, Frontier Excursions quickly sent an email letting us know they were aware of the change and had refunded our deposit - we didn t need to do anything! We took a tour four years ago with Frontier Excursions and enjoyed it very much. Wish we could have done a tour again. Highly recommend this company for touring in Skagway!

Our tour through princess was cancelled so we roamed through town(skagway) and came across this excursion company and it was a GREAT find!!! Bev was our driver and she did an amazing tour! She is extremely knowledgeable and had so many fun stories to go along with the many photo stops. I would HIGHLY recommend this to all

Cris and Katie helped us book last minute excursions when another company canceled on us. They were very patient and understanding with our group. The tours were fun. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made for a wonderful experience, especially Connor. I highly recommend booking through them for your trip to Skagway.

Incredible experience in Skagway doing the White Pass Summit and Yukon tour with my group of 16 persons from Costa Rica. Kandy our guide was great and since the beginning made us feel home.We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with a lot of great landscapes.This is the second year I use Frontier Excursions and definitely I will keep using them for my travel agency's groups.

I sure hate basing a review of a company based on one individual, but I feel it is important to post our experience (which does not sound like the norm). My wife and I were with our one year old on a separate bus happily in line with our group to take pictures at the "Welcome to Alaska" sign when a tour bus pulled up and folks started lining up behind us (nice of them, right?). Tour bus plate was GMG689 commercial plate CF538.Everything was still perfect until their tour guide (Beverly) began splitting lines so everyone can share the sign. I understand the premise but we (and all of Beverly's bus) wanted a picture with the whole Alaska sign. Not 75% of it shot off to the side, which is effectively what we got.Had Beverly not spent so much time shuffling people around and literally drawing lines in the dirt for people to stand on everyone could have made it through the line with no issue. Our entire bus said they were glad they had not been with that group, and several looks from Beverly's group expressed the same discomfort.I'm sure Beverly did it all with good intentions, and again, I completely understand everyone is on timetables. But had the situation been approached differently, I think everyone would have been happy AND got what they wanted instead of a poorly composed picture in addition to a bad taste in my mouth for another tour guide.Again, no issues with Frontier Excursions. Just Beverly.

This tour is a must-do! The scenery was just out of this world! We did this tour instead of the train, and I'm sure we made the right choice. We were a group of 22 and had an entire shuttle bus to ourselves. The cost is less, its a longer tour, and we were able to get out and walk around at our pace. Our guide, Jessica, was entertaining, knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us options on what to do and how much time to spend at different stops, and in addition talked about life in Alaska, both during the summer and winter. I highly recommend this tour and Jessica as your tour guide!

My family and I just returned from our wonderful Yukon tour. We were so impressed with the process of meeting at the pier and of our driver Candace. She seems to be a wonderful person and had great stories as well as being very knowledgeable, sweet and charming. I hope to send as much business their way as possible.Thank you again for a wonderful day in Skagway.

We were very happy to have found and booked with Frontier Excursions on our (Disney) cruise to Alaska 2 years ago. Still, very fond memories of the great tour . . . all the way up to and past Carcross (which is A LOT farther than the railroad goes). We stopped, got out to take pictures, walk around and learned a lot more than if we were stuck on a bus with 40 people, as well. Saw 100% more and paid approx. 50% of what a Disney excursion would have cost. Brooke was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Yes, I recommend strongly.(Day was long and ride back was very relaxing!)

Tyler was engaging and entertaining! At every stop he offered to take pictures of our family and was very knowledgeable of the area. Thanks Tyler!!!The lady at the desk was awesome as well. We wanted to send our niece since she missed the trip we went on. We arrive at 1pm and the tour had just left. They brought another van by to shuttle her to the first stop, the cemetery. We will stop by the Frontier booth next time we are in Skagway and do another one of their tours.

Family vacation on Solstice Crusie ship, we looked at the Train vs the Bus tour. Our tour guide Mike was exceptional, the Alaska beauty and Canada splendor aside Mike really made this excursion a wonder experience. Great knowledge of the area as well an excellent sense of humor. We will definitely be back!

Booking locally through Frontier and not the ship (Celebrity), we got the best deal taking the 3.5 hour beautiful Yukon bus/photo tour (half the price of the train)! JJ was the best tour guide, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable! I highly recommend her and Frontier!

We were on tour with Tyler TBone . What a great guide & knowledgeable of the area. He was friendly, helpful, and had a great wit. All together made it a great trip. The landscape was breathtaking & we even had a bear sighting. I think the bear was paid to walk across the road. Recommend this tour company.

Great excursion to the Yukon with many photo opportunities plus tour by bus of Skagway. Our driver, Brooke, from Wisconsin helped us take pictures and was very knowledgeable and entertaining after 7 years in Skagway including winters. She met us at the ferry on time and with a sign. (We came over from our ship in Haines.) I would highly recommend this company and your driver.

I took my entire family all 23 of us including children and grandchildren. We booked this company over the web and talked to them briefly by phone. They were on time and showed us the best way we had on our whole Alaska experience. We saw bears and had a wonderful day. Our driver was Mike and we the whole family truly enjoyed him. If we went back to Alaska, we would use them again. They deliver what they promise.

This company was great to work with. Our tour was great and informational and our tour guide Kandy took pictures for us and made sure we got to do and know what we wanted. We had bought our tickets through someone else and got ripped off. The company helped us make it right and they were fantastic!!! We will definitely go through them next time.
