Service was great. However, it took 3 and a 1/2 hours to change and mount. A tire. I also asked to reset the tire pressure monitoring system. And they did not do that I called this morning to tell them this and they said they'd call me back. Have not heard anything yet

Great costumer service, shane in the service was awesome and very helpful. They truly cared and went out of their way to ensure we were helped to get out of time sensitive bind. Thank you Shane and the mechanic that helped repair our truck

Dealing with the service department of Swickard GMC in Palmer has always been a nightmare. It is so much of a nightmare, but I have actually chosen to sell my car to avoid having to ever go there again. I feel like there are too many negative things for me to even list.-When you schedule an appointment For specific time like 9 AM, they frequently don t even begin working on your car until 2 PM. Even when I told them that I would be waiting for it.-When you walk up to the service desk to drop your car off or pay your bill, you Watch the service advisors talking about non-car related stuff for 5+ minutes before they acknowledge you.-I knew exactly exactly what part I needed, but they would not tell me the price or if the was in stock before bringing my car in to have them diagnose it.-When the part finally arrived, they did not call to notify me as they had promised.-One time I brought it in for service and also to get bodywork done, and there was absolutely zero communication between the body shop and the service department. My car was there for over four months. Despite calling to get updates frequently, they kept forwarding me to the other department where I never got any answers.There are literally too many negative things to list, I could go on forever. Never buy a GMC! And if you do, avoid this dealership at all costs.

Wallace took me in on a SATURDAY. He was friendly, efficient, straight forward, kind and understanding. He told me just like it was with getting the part I needed. He was understanding when I asked for the part number to check with my mechanic nephew in Michigan. When I inquired about my truck a week later, he got right back with me. Knowing I had to come from Anchorage for my truck- he offered online payment and to leave my keys with Sales, which is open later. He greeted me when I did show up and followed up on everything. He's a gem.Thanks, Wallace!!!!!!Oh- and he was willing to text with me vs. call. That was double bonus for me!!!!Ruthann :)

We made an appt but the vehicle was not looked at for a week after the appt.when I called to get an update I got voicemail and left messages and never got a call back. I finally went in person to get an update only to stand there for more than 20minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Parts were ordered for various things that needed to be fixed.Again having to call to get updates with no call backs.A part was on back order but others were in.The part needed did not prevent the vehicle from running but no one offered to fix the other concerns.At this point you have had my vehicle for almost 5 weeks.This was hands down the worst service I have even received.I was not kept informed without reaching out myself,when someone said they would call me back it happen 1 of5 timesWe came to get our vehicle with no work bro g done at all after almost 6 weeks. We took it to another shop.

The car won't shut off the electrical system when you put it in park and turn it off. The engine goes off, but the electrical system stays on, beeps at you, and throws an "ACTION REQUIRED Shift To Park" message on the dash. Because it doesn't do this every time you shut it off, I even took a video of the problem and showed it to the Service Clerk (Gary...who couldn't have been nicer) just so he could see and explain it to the technician; I even offered to show it to the technician, email to him/them, whatever. Also, got an oil change while I had it there. My appointment was for 10:15, January 16th. When I dropped it off, Gary said "We'll try to get to it today I didn't say a word but thought why the hell did I even make an appointment ?!?! Long story short(er): I got called to pick it up (the next day) and they couldn't duplicate the problem; again, I showed the video and offered to show the mechanic too; didn t matter. I paid and left. I literally got in the car, drove it around the parking lot, turned it off and sure enough it did! Left the car as-is with keys in it, and I ran back inside and said "it's doing it right now all he (Gary) said was the Technician left and wouldn't be back for 15-30 minutes. I seen other Technicians in the garage; why couldn t one of them walk over real quick? I get it, they are assigned work orders/vehicles to work on. Got it. But someone could have walked over and took a look; especially for a problem that they could not replicate! I got upset and quietly left (was nothing else I could do, was there?). I had already had the car there for two days, plus I had stuff to do myself, so I left. The car still is not right, still does that error but at least I got the oil changed (which wasn t cheap either).

Marcus helped us at this dealership! He was super friendly and got us set up with the exact truck we were wanting! This was also our first ever dealership purchase! He made the process go so smoothy, was super patient with us, and answered all of our questions! Thank you!!!

Came in for a 15k mile service on my 2023 GMC 3500. The service was supposed to include tire rotation, top of fluids including DEP, check oil and oil filter and change if needed. They changed the oil and was not going to rotate my tires because they said it takes to long but I insisted that they do because I had a low inner tire that I could find the valve stem too. They rotated and said they did it for free but it was part of the 15k service that I payed over $600 for. The fluids were not topped off and neither was the DEP. I came in with little under 1/2 in my DEP tank and left with same amount. I feel like I got cheated and was obviously lied to about what services was going to be done.

The service I received at service department was top notch. Wallace was outstanding. However, I did avoid the call center scheduling service hell by going directly into the service department and scheduling my appointment. This definitely made my experience better.

My service advisor Wallace was outstanding. He communicated the issues, fixes and costs upfront and in a timely manner. The diesel mechanic Tim is a master of the trade and corrected the vehicle issues. I always have a top tier experience with this team and their professionalism. Thank You!

Terrible experience! And I am a long time customer. The other day, I took my truck in for an oil change and to get my windshield recalibrated. my appointment was at 9am and I didn t leave the dealership until 230pm! To make matters worse people that were there after me left before me and they were doing oil changes only like is there no line order? What made me really upset is when the advisor told me they couldn t recalibrate my windshield because they needed to see the road markers!! He told me to bring it back when the snow melts like it is freaking November! I told him you guys should ve done it when I first brought to you guys asked if they recalibrated it the first time I asked when there was no snow on the ground! Waited 6 stupid hours for them to tell me that on top of that I don t even know what freaking oil they used for my diesel truck because I wasn t offer are a post sign sheet of what they did! Terrible customer service

I made an appointment for an oil change and fuel filter replacement. At drop off I was told it would be about an hour wait. 3 hours later I was told that the oil change was done but they didn t have a fuel filter to swap mine with. No real explanation on how or why it took so long to figure that out. I did the fuel filter myself that day after going to AutoZone. I don t think they schedule jobs and set parts aside to complete said jobs.I Made another appointment to get a check engine light diagnosed. I check in and then they ask what I m there for. I don t think they actually write down what the appointment is for, or they just have bad customer service/reassurance. Hint, look at your computer after you get my name and number and say thanks for coming in Mr Perea, I see you have a 8 o clock appointment for a check engine diagnostic. Anyway, Scott tells me they are over booked and they can t do my diagnostic. I ask what I made my appointment for if they are just going to waste my time. He tells me to wait a min so I sit in the lobby. 30 minutes later he tells me it s a bad glow plug. I already knew that from running my own check but they wouldn t order the part without their techs looking at it. He then says drop it off wed and they could change it. I ask if I need an appointment time and he says no just drop it off at 8 am Wed. Probably why they overbook.This morning is wed and I take my truck in drop it off and get assured it ll be done in the afternoon. About an hour later I get a call saying they don t have glow plugs, they just sold the last one. So now I have to get my wife to drive me back, just to get handed my keys and yet again get told they d call when they have parts in. I ask to speak to the manager and he s not around. Now I have to take more time from work to go back and deal with these people yet again. No real apology or professionalism. If you do use them make sure they have the parts for your job, because they will waste your time. They can t multitask and they don t honor appointments or your time. I Would give their award winning service department zero stars if able. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

Turned off the check engine light. Couldn t find the problem. Was told to just bring it back if the light came back on. The service tech was very nice

Brought my truck in for an appointment on a Thursday, just to have a brake pad monitor light checked. No call back no update, so I call on Saturday afternoon only to be told it's not done with no update. Told I can come get my truck on Sunday where the sales dept can get my keys. Fast forward to Sunday, sales can't get my keys, they have no loaner vehicles, and there's no vehicles to rent in the valley. How am I supposed to get to work? Swickard clearly doesn't. If it weren't for the warranty portion, I would never come here again.

I wouldn t suggest this place but I also wouldn t NOT suggest it. It s a typical dealership. The deal they advertised (2.9% interest) wasn t available on the car I wanted. Apparently, it was only for the truck I was originally interested in until I drove it and decided I liked the SUV more. The interest on the SUV was ridiculous! I have excellent credit and am still confused as to why I could buy a $h!tty overpriced basic truck at 2.9% but not the SUV. Both were brand new. Both were hellishly expensive. So frustrating but I should ve walked out and went elsewhere so that s on me.

I bought a used car from this dealership and everybody who worked there was wonderful. Rosie was the one who sold me the car and man.. I can t wait to buy another car just to hang out with Rosie. She felt like family. What a wonderful experience!!!

Chris was amazing! I called the dealership Saturday night for a truck I had found online and told him I wanted it! I gave him a down payment over the phone and he said it was mine! I was going on a trip the next day and told him that I needed to do everything over the phone and through email. He made it as easy as possible! That night he had even gone outside, took pictures of the truck and texted them over to me. To top everything off, he drove the truck from Palmer to the Anchorage airport to sign docs and give us the truck first thing bright and early! He definitely went above and beyond and made this purchase so easy! I will recommend Chris and the Palmer dealership any day! Thank you for taking such great care of me! I LOVE my new truck!

Chuck was the only person I dealt with in the detail shop and he was super friendly and professional. The detail on the inside was mostly perfect besides a couple small things I didn't really care about. The outside cleaning however was just ok. they definitely didn't get off all the grime, I would have asked for another pass if I wasn't in such a rush.

I was very pleased with Wallace, John, and the service team. I scheduled an appointment online for recall repairs, an oil change, service inspection, and to check the A/C and a few issues with the driver's seat. Wallace called me promptly to go over the repair costs. The repairs were completed quickly. John provided my service pick up and we had friendly conversation on the way. A big plus! I paid a very reasonable price and was on my way. I couldn't be happier. This was definitely my best service experience compared to other dealerships. I highly recommend!

Purchased a 2020 Chevy Silverado brand new; I've been trying to get warranty work done since October and keep getting ignored and pushed off. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Service is complete trash, I advise everyone I know to avoid this dealership at all costs.
