I appreciate that they are careful with the wheels and properly torque the lug nuts with a torque wrench. They have always down a good job even with a specialized EV sports car.

Really can't thank these guys enough after how big they came through for us. Traveling through Alaska from out of state, we blew a tire and needed it replaced right away so we could get home. They were quick, professional, and maybe most importantly extremely polite and sympathetic to our situation. How we were treated (both on the phone and in person) really eased a tough situation.

First time visiting this place. Just recently moved here and I think this is the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. Came in for a simple rotate and balance. The technician came out and said your key lock broke. They are the ones that broke it and didn t even try to replace it or attempt to do anything. All they said was it happens all the time. Now I m stuck with broke key lock and if something happens I m not able to take my tires of my truck.

We have an older RV and couldn t quite figure out how to get air in the tires because they require a special tool. A local RV place recommended we go to Alyeska Tire in Palmer and boy I m glad they did! They filled all our tires (which took a bit of work) and didn t charge us a dime! Super kind, fast service, we will definitely take our tire business to them going forward!

In general I've been happy with their service, but DO NOT take any specialty items like split rims to them. They do not have a clue what to do with them.

Great customer service every time I come in!! Even when it s busy they go above and beyond with attention to each customer and keep it very professional. My go to guys for any tire service in the valley. I got a nail in a tire after getting brand new tires and they helped me in a pinch to get to work quickly and professionally whilst it was busy season for tire changes before winter hit. Thanks everyone!

Very helpful group in the wake of a highway tire blowout. With decades of service, experience and connections throughout Alaska you can feel confident bringing your vehicle (or recreational vehicle) to Alyeska Tire. In addition, at this branch, they have partnered with MEA and have fast chargers available (check on adapters). They have many brands, styles and sizes in stock in Alaska but recognize it might take a little time to deliver if you need something they have in the Kenai in Palmer. You could always drive down yourself. They will also mount tires you bring but their warranty is for what you purchase direct. They are quick and efficient and extremely helpful. I learned a lot from the folks there and they were very gracious with their time in helping me.Snow tire season gets busy so purchase early and make your plans. Switch overs start in mid October.

My husband Bob and I have been using Alyeska Tire since the company started opening in Palmer probably 8 years ago.Although my husband Bob passed away 2019...I still have Alyeska Tire Service in Palmer, as a loyal customer.I trust them for their professional and honesty qualifications.I appreciate that the company serves us, right here, Matsu Valley, so that we have more options to choose which is the best for our personal vehicle commuting.

I have been coming here for years for tire changeover and have never had a problem. It is first come first serve so they will fill up pretty quickly during the initial seasonal change. For those that have to wait you can take your car and run errands and return back at their estimated time to get you in while holding your place in line or you can wait in the back as they have 2 couches and a TV.

Got my tire plugged and back on the road about a 1:30 wait time I was a walk in. Thanks

Alyeska Tire has capability and quality service. They also provide a large selection of wheels and tires that you can virtually try on your make, model and color of vehicle through their website. Alyeska Tire also has an extremely generous warranty program. Two thumbs up! I recommend this shop for anyone searching for tires and wheels.

Great customer service as always. The technician was having a few problems with balancing one of my tires, he let me know it was fairly close, but might not ride perfectly. He asked if I had a little extra time to wait to try and get it perfect, I agreed to stay longer so he could get it dialed in. It was a success, truck rides perfectly. Most tire shops I ve used in the past would have probably called it good enough, and got it out the door. This guy wasn t about sending a truck out the door not riding down the road like it should. 100 percent would recommend.

Very friendly and professional staff. You must wear a mask and they limit the number of people allowed in the store at one time so I recommend calling first. Tire change is first come, first serve. I bought my snow tires here 2 years ago and prefer coming back when changing them. These guys are great!

Traveling thru Alaska in my 35ft 5th wheel, I discovered I had a tire replaced. (Shocker) anyway, turns out Alaska didn t have the H rated tire, so I ordered one from Discount tire in San Antonio(I live there) several other Tire stores in Anchorage said they would not put on my tire because I didn t buy it from them. I explained my problem to Alyeska Tires and they were amazingly helpful and put that tire on for me, We also had a leak on our truck tire and Wesley fixed that problem as well! Such a professional company and extremely friendly as well! Don t go anywhere else for tires!!

Great pricing and great service. Went in to buy new winter tires and have them installed. Was in and out in about an hour. As we were leaving, a very nice mechanic came out and said he noticed a loose part on his shop floor where our truck had been. Some cheap part that was glued on had come off so he brought our truck in one more time to install it properly. Big thank you to everyone at Alyeska Tire! We will be back.

I've gotten the last two sets of tires from Alyeska and am very happy with both the product and service. They have always met my needs with efficiency and professional knowledge. I will continue to go with them in my vehicles future needs.

Bruce and George were a pleasure to work with; very kind and knowledgeable. I actually picked this tire place because I called all around and they were the most friendly on the phone! I also liked the perks that went along; free tire repair, etc. It would be great if they put in a key drop though.

Took my car here for a tire swap. (Mount & Balance) They got me in as soon as I got there. Decent waiting room. It has both men & women bathrooms, which I didn t use. But good to know. Bruce and Wesley were nice. No problems.

Be sure to wear your mask or they won't take your business. A simple heads-up on the phone would have saved a trip and I wouldn t be leaving a review. There are plenty of other tire shops that don't have this requirement for their customers. It is no wonder why all the other shops were booked for the whole day and Alyeska Tire wasn't...

The job got done, which was changing my winter tires to spring/summer tires. I felt like the sales representatives were irritated, because I didn't have a mask on, during the time they were working on my vehicle. They offer a 5 percent discount for bringing a mask with you, which I did, so when they completed my tire change I showed the representative that I had a mask and asked if I get my 5 percent discount. He was annoyed, but honored the discount. I asked if he was having a rough day, he said, "No, it's just that you didn't wear the mask while you were waiting.I said, "You're right I didn't, but I was mindful to keep my distance from everyone except my own son." I also stated that if wearing the mask was appropriate for COVID prevention it would have been a different situation. We agreed to disagree and carried on. I've been using this tire place since 2014. Until last year I had always recieved exceptional service. However, this year and last the customer service has been unfriendly at best.Unless you wear a mask, then it's the same professional demeanor. I know this, because I spent over a hour watching customers come and go.

These guys are great. I had a bunch of tire issues with a travel trailer I was trying dewinterize so we could go camping. Everything I checked was damaged! My third trip back (all different unrelated issues) they immediately took the tire back and just fixed it then told me not to worry about it and they hoped I was able to get out and enjoy what was left of the weekend. Admittedly the last problem was just a bad valve stem which are cheap but it meant a lot to us and we have been a customer ever since.

I was disappointed to find out that they charge $9.00 more per tire to mount new tires I brought up from the lower 48. When looking for new tires, I called Alyeska (I have been their customer for years) but they did not have the size I needed, therefore I had to buy somewhere else. But being the loyal customer I am, I had them mount them. I guess loyalty has penalties.

Arriving first in line at 6:00 in the morning lots of people showed up before they opened. It would be nice if they had a sign in list or something like numbers rather than having people stand in the rain. I found it odd customers could not organize themselves first come first serve as they could wait in their cars rather than standing online at the front door in the rain and cold with nobody inside.

Good selection, polite staff, inconvenient service. They provide a very unpleasant service experience, a hostile environment to customers with children. I tried to buy $1500 tires, and they refused to make an appointment even though I had a small child. I bought them at Midas Palmer. The large lobby is completely inhospitable, and the only place to walk is the gym. The lobby is filled with tires with a few tiny tables and nothing else.

I came to Alyeska Tire needing new winter tires for my truck, after previously having a bad experience at Diversified Tire. Alyeska Tire treated me with respect, they were professional, and I recieved great customer service. A man named Bruce helped me, and he is great. I recommend Alyeska Tire over any other tire store in the valley. I will always come to them going forward!

Pulled in at 5 pm on a Friday. Had tried another place that didn't want to bother with us. We had a piece of metal in our tire. George Copper was very helpful at the desk and the 2 mechanics were very good. So glad that we went there.
