Daniel has worked on my car for the past year. He is absolutely amazing and knows what he is doing. Explains everything so well to me and even shows me in the shop. One time he even ran and put gas into for me to keep my car running and warm when I got back to pick it up. 10/10 service.

I am a new customer to Pearsons and I will definitely be returning! I brought my car in for an oil change and an overall inspection. The check in/out process with Gabby was quick and easy, she was also extremely kind! I had my car back to me in an hour! Awesome business!

Pearson Auto was one of the best experiences I've had at an auto shop. The service was great. I purchased the C Winterized package, wanting the peace of mind of a lifetime warranty. Gabby was extremely helpful and professional through the entire process. Scheduling all the way through to vehicle pick up.

This place gave me an appointment date to winterize my car. After I towed my car there and completed the paperwork, they told me there were plenty of cars ahead of me but they were still going to get it done by the following day. My car never got done until 4 days later after I went to sit at the shop to wait for them to do it or tow my car to a different shop. They finally did the work but improperly. The heating block don t work properly and my car still freezes. My windshield fluid container also leaks badly. The lady at the front desk is the most rude person I have ever met.They also charged me for the job but added an additional $100 for moving my car into their shop from their lot. After complaining at my job, two other coworkers informed me of their bad experiences. I usually don t do reviews but I wouldn t want anyone else go through what I went through.

Commission based mechanics are never a good idea. They purposely left my oil pan drain plug loose saying I had a slow oil leak and wanted to charge $1600 to fix it. I had never any issues or evidence of a leak before them. Then after I did have a leak. Took it into another shop and they informed me that my plug was put in very loose and that is what caused the leak. After asking around to some friends who were mechanics there once I found out that type of thing is common place with them. Be aware

I had left Pearsons after my oil change and went to Safeway in North Pole after my car was finished. I left the car running when I went into the store (about 10-15 minutes) when walked back out to the car I noticed a large puddle of oil underneath and immediately shut the car off. I called gabby in the office and explained the situation. she sent the tech out. When the tech got to Safeway he asked how hard I ran it the car and brought up the small oil cooler leak previously found during the oil change trying to place blame on that or myself running the car hard. Upon further inspection tech found that the oil filter housing o-ring was cut and admitted fault. He then refilled the oil and we checked it in the Safeway parking lot no leaks were found after the new oring was installed. We then headed back to Pearsons where I noticed a large oil spot in the parking lot where the car was parked before I left. Tech didn t verify work and almost cost me my engine and possibly voiding my warranty.Service: Oil change

Scott was a true customer service/maintenance guru. He took the time to greet me, check in and let me know status of my car, and explained the connection of the key fob in relation to my push button start (simple battery change to get things working!). Are you tired of Costco's terrible tire service? Say no more. Pearson's took my car at my scheduled appt time and had the seasonal tire exchange done in 90 minutes. They also have a nice waiting area with free coffee.

I always get my oil changed here and I would definitely trust them with more mechanical work that I can t do myself! I love how friendly everyone is and the way they walk you through how the repair process goes and even offers to show you and help you understand what s wrong.

Had the clutch replaced in our truck about 3 years ago. Moved out of stateAnd clutch is out again. We are not hard on this truck so we called to see if there was some kind of warranty. They said their warranty is only good for a year. The mechanic we now go to in Wisconsin said the manufacturer of clutch, I believe is south bend, honors their product for five years. He called the manufacturer himself and was told Pearsons never put in the paperwork to honor the warranty. Nice people, but their error is costing us another 3 grand again only a few years later.

Had an excellent experience working with John Benedick in the North Pole branch. I knew I needed struts, but he made suggestions and repairs that also improved the starting capability of my car ahead of winter. While installing struts he also made some modifications that improved the stopping power of my brakes without requiring any new parts. 10/10 recommend his work.

Went here about a month ago for a alignment and to make sure my 4WD was working properly. Pearson stated they cannot perform the alignment due to significant tire wear, I stated I was planning on putting my new tires on after the alignment, Pearson stated okay we will complete the alignment. Pearson stated I had the wrong fluid in my transfer case and need a new transfer case. I stated no I will not complete that repair and would like to only have the alignment done. When I went to pick up my truck, Pearson stated the alignment couldn't be performed due to the machine broke when my truck was on the lift and they will call when its fixed. They also charged me for a no wrench 4WD check when they said they wouldn't charge me for it. Still no call back to get my truck back in for an alignment. Ended up going to Glacier Garage, amazing service! They completed my alignment and stated my transfer case is in perfect condition! Their price was also a little lower than Pearsons Auto, save yourself a headache and go to Glacier Garage!

Great experience overall, everyone was very nice and professional. Their use of technology is impressive, with status updates, pictures and quotes. It was rad that they actually took the time to physically show me what was wrong with my car, left no room for any sort of doubt. I am sure I will be a recurring customer as long as they maintain the same professionalism and quality standards.

Very friendly and efficient service! I was on a road trip to Fairbanks with visiting family when my alternator started to go. I did not want to risk driving home with the issue! I called an hour before they closed and had an appointment the next day at the Rich location at 8 am. They had my car in right away for diagnosis and I was back on the road by about 11 am. They were very thorough- checked everything on my car to make sure I d have a safe trip home (filled all fluids, checked my tires & brakes, took my car on a couple test drives for quality control...) and they also checked on me several times with updates on progress. Thanks everyone for helping me out!

Their integrity has been demonstrated by their thorough investigations into my vehicle problems, leading them to let me know that it would be better to invest in another vehicle rather than into endless repairs of my 2011 VW Tiguan . Great experience for my truck suspension service, alignment and electrical troubleshooting. Mason and Gabby went above and beyond for customer service, best by far for any other shop we have used in interior alaska. Great service and friendly staff. I ve taken both of my vehicles here a few times and always had a positive experience. Most recently I had them inspect a possible suspension noise that suddenly started, and unlike many shops that would take this as an easy suspension service sale, they actually inspected the vehicle and provided thorough pictures and documentation about how they couldn t reproduce the noise or find any damage. Prices have always been reasonable (oil changes, winterization, oil system damage repair) and I ve never felt like I was being taken advantage of with any recommendations they ve made.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Got the premium deal for winterization. Was a great value and as far as I can tell, was done well. They were very good at working with me at getting my towed car there. They thankfully dropped an inspection charge that they automatically do with towed vehicles, which makes sense but I was not informed and therefore they dropped the charge. All in all the customer service was fantastic.

I had a great experience. I ended up needing my entire engine replaced due to low compression/cylinder misfire. They were able to secure all the new parts quickly and have the work done much faster than I expected. Outstanding experience at Pearson Auto Repair! Was traveling through the area and needed to get my oil changed. Pearson's was one of the only places that could get me in quickly and I am so glad! They were wonderful! From making my appointment on the phone to in person, everyone was friendly and helpful.I appreciated being offered the option to check out under my truck and talk to the technician about what he saw. It gave me piece of mind to know all was well with the truck and after so many miles of rough road, there were no issues!Also, the price for my full synthetic oil change was amazing!! By far a better price than I have found in many places. I also knew i needed the air filter changed, so after a brief wait to get the part, that was done too.I also really appreciate their support to the military! I would highly recommend taking your vehicles to Pearson Auto Repair!! Thank you so much!!

Had a great check in experience with Gabby at the front desk. Was worried our A/C was going to need a total replacement, but they were able to connect a machine and leak test our system- replaced a valve and then recharged it. Blows cold! while there I got an oil change, fast/quality service. I used the customer lounge to do some work, WiFi was good- password is right there on a chalkboard! Nice details. The owner even offered me a water from the fridge!!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning, Oil change

I recently had an oil change at Pearson on the Rich. and I must say I was impressed with the level of service I received. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were able to get me in and out in a timely manner. The oil change itself was thorough and I was provided with a detailed report of the work that was done and what to look out for in the future.
