Had an amazing time at the Dirty Skillet. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, friendly service. We were promptly taken care of by the staff. They kept us cozy on this rainy day by moving a heater closer to our table. There's also a unique fire pit in the center of each table which is fantastic to watch and practical to keep warm. Food was excellent and we'll balanced. I had the Big Sexy Kahuna Poke Bowl and it was phenomenal. It was light, but filling. I hope to go there again sometime soon.Vegetarian options: They had a few not boring vegetarian options. Glad to see they didn't add these as an afterthought like so many restaurants do. Definitely something for everyone.

Great place to eat. The burger I got had a great beef flavor and texture. I'm guessing they grind thier own meat and it's was great. All the apps were good and all their beer on tap we're great. A greasy spoon type place but also had great vegan options for my vegan friends. Live music, friendly service, and a blueberry rhubarb pie I'll dream about all week made for a great meal.Vegetarian options: All the burger patties had vegan patty options, and a lot of the appetizers were vegan friendly.

Lovely place to stop for a bite and drink. Kids loved the pond and the ducks swimming in it. The four outdoor tables had a fire in the middle. There were a couple high top tables by the bar as well. Nice fast service. Loved the cookie home made ice cream. The rice balls were expensive but I'm sure a lot of work and they tasted so good. Wish I could have tried more of the food.

Great food in Hope, Alaska! The food here is excellent, and the staff is so nice. This is a great place to stop after a long hike for dinner. Everything we had tasted great, including the pies and ice cream for dessert.The night we got dinner here they had live music and it was wonderful as well.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free and vegetarian options.

Great place for dinner with nice live music in outdoor seating area. Kid friendly with dogs running around, big common fire tables (not lit as it was gorgeous tonight). The D Burger was huge with skinniest of skinny fries, guacamole, tomato, & a whole jalape�o on top--spicy! Crab cakes were tasty but with an off-putting consistency, and Ceasar salad was fine. Peanut butter pie was awesome! Next time, we'll try the chicken sandwich and the hummus!

A hidden gem in Hope, Alaska! Great food, great atmosphere and great service! The burger was one of the better burgers I ve ever had and the rice balls were great! Had an amazing ice cream dessert called the Stoner s Delight. They had a cute dog roaming around and fire pits in the middle of the table. Great drink selection as well! A must visit if in the area!

Very cosy place with live music on certain days.The food was delicious as well as choice of beer and artists.Tip: Get the ice cream as a dessert even when you are full. Totally worth it! Looks like mud but tastes like cinnamon.

Beautiful location! Well maintained, great food options, friendly staff! I really enjoyed the large tables on the deck with fire down the middle to keep us warm! Huge, gorgeous portions!

Word has it, that this is a good fixings and quaint place to stop so we had to try it. It was well worth the all day hike to stop in and enjoy the service and flavors offered on the menu.The challenging was the parking. If you can get parking, your golden.. You won't be disappointed.Don't forget to try their home made pies!

Great food, great beer, great atmosphere, great location! The dirty skillet was our favorite place we had food at during our entire trip in Alaska. Live music on the deck was awesome! The tables even have fireplaces that help keep us warm.

We ate two nights in a row at the DS!! Truly Epic dining just like the sign says. This time I got the Thai chicken tacos and chocolate banana cream pie (with hazelnut crust). Next time I ll be getting a burger with rosemary fries! And there is nothing better than getting hugs from the owner at the end of a meal....

This cafe' is kinda hard to find, but worth the effort. Wife and I shared a huge ribeye steak that was plenty for both of us and delicious. Good local brews on tap. Nice outdoor dining area. Only negative was the swarm of bees that disturbed our dinner, but you really can't blame the establishment for that.

Unbelievable! Staff was amazing. Their Aphrodite Chicken Sammy was literally...literally...the best burger I have ever had! The misses loved the Ball n Chain Burger. We both loved the reindeer and cheesy rice balls apperizer! The key lime pie was to die for! The misses loved the rhubarb crumble. We both LOVED the cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. I am not sure but we are both pretty sure they used Vietnamese cinnamon in the ice cream. EVERYTHING was awesome!!!!

Excellent, excellent food. Good food portion, enough to serve more than one person. This restaurant is close by NOVE water rafting, so it s perfect for a nice meal after rafting.

Better get there early! This place has become an absolute staple of Hope over the past few years, with great live music, tasty drinks, home made ice cream, and a beautiful view! It gets busy fast, so come in early to enjoy before it gets packed out.The Dusty Balls are clutch, and whatever witchcraft they pack into that charcoal sauce for the crab cakes is divine! I would use that sauce for everything in my world! Burgers are hearty, fries have the crunch, try the Ball and Chain burger for a good time, but you better leave room for ice cream and pie, or better yet, get the burger to go and enjoy dessert first! (Sorry Ma!)

Fantastic place as you can tell from all the perfect scores. Split the sandwich, Chile, salad, then finished off with apple pie and homemade ice cream. You can tell they take pride because they read and respond to these reviews!!!

Some of the best food we had in Alaska. Delicious ice cream too! The ambiance is so cozy and the live music was delightful. They have fire tables that create such a fun experience. Great service to top it all off! Highly recommend!!

Amazing. Honestly the best food I have eaten in Alaska. Are you planning a vacation? Come to Alaska just to eat here! I really want to know which 5 star restaurant they poached the chief from. A relatively small menu which means they do it well. The crab cake appetizer was the best I have ever eaten, but everything was spectacular. The desserts also deserve a shout out. The pies really are the best in Alaska, heck maybe in the entire Pacific northwest. Waiter was awesome and had the whole menu memorized. Beer was local and the music was nice.

Owners are very friendly, nice atmosphere. Firepit in the middle of your table. How hot is that? New lodge building. I had the burger add fresh onion and bacon. Huge slices of bacon. Burger cooked to perfection. The rosemary fries were tasty and plentiful. Gave me a cup of Folgers while I waited. There is expresso available inside the lodge. Definitely coming back.Dietary restrictions: Just ask for what you needParking: They are expanding their parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids and dogs were playing just within earshot. Nice homey atmospere.

This was the best restaurant we ate at in Alaska! Best food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely stop by if you're anywhere near Hope!
