Front desk upon check in was kind, professional, informative & accommodating. We had no issues with access to the building, parking, or other guests. We had our two dogs with us & they answered all of my questions about pet areas, etc. Rooms were exceptionally clean, kitchenettes & bathrooms were well stocked. (Adored the toilet paper bow - I m trying to replicate that at home!) Beds & pillows were comfortable. Plenty of storage & seating in the room. My husband appreciated the soda vending machine in the lobby. We ve stayed at two of the Aspen locations, both times with dogs, & wouldn t hesitate to stay with them again.

First off, the location is super easy to find. The exterior is well maintained with plenty of parking right near stores and local activities. The interior was also well maintained, clean and a pleasant decor. The staff that greeted us at the front desk were efficient, professional and very welcoming. They answered all of our questions. The room was also in excellent condition and perfectly clean with comfortable furnishings. We spent the one night so we didnt need the entire kitchen space but that would definitely be a great set up if staying longer. The views of the bluff were wonderful. This is a top tier hotel and will stay here anytime i am staying in Homer.

We were beyond pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was!! This was our third stop in Alaska and first time to stay in Aspen Suites Hotel. The oversized room and bathroom was were super clean and well thought out! Loads of plus and USB to plug 7 devises and more! The laundry room actually had machines that worked properly just like at home. In the future I will always look to see if there is an Aspen Hotel Suites in the city I m visiting!! Bravo!!!

Very nice place to spend a couple of nights while you visit Homer. Just across the street from a Safeway and liquor store and a Wells Fargo bank. Rooms are nice and include a large fridge, two burner stove and microwave, plus dishes and utensils. View from the backside is wonderful. I don t know what it costs because it was included in our tour price.

Pros: It's centrally and conveniently located with friendly front desk staff. The trail down to Bishop's Beach is right next to the hotel, and it's within easy walking distance of the grocery store and several fantastic restaurants.Cons: It's loud. Part of that is that it's right on the highway, so traffic noise is to be expected, but they really skimped on insulation or sound proofing when they built this hotel because you can clearly hear the people talking in the hallway like they're standing in your room. Children were screaming up and down the hall until almost midnight, and then you have the folks leaving for fishing charters at like 5 am. The mattress and pillows were not great. Between the bad bed and all the noise of the other guests, it's not a very restful or relaxing hotel. Additionally, the remote for our TV was not functional, and we were told since they don't have a maintenance person after 3 pm, if we wanted a remote that worked, they'd have to move us to a new room. They also don't have daily housekeeping, which is stated on the website when you book and we were fine with, but our bathroom very noticeably hadn't been thoroughly cleaned before we checked in. There were weird sticky-looking orange splotches on the back of the bathroom door.

We were here on a motorcycle trip.We had a room with two queen beds. It had a full kitchen including a hot plate. The room was excellent and the bathroom was large. Very clean throughout. The parking lot is in great shape and the exterior of the building is also in excellent condition. There is a very large and very clean laundry room on the first floor. As others have noted there is a grocery store and a liquor store across the street. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for one night this past month (after the 5-hour bus ride from Anchorage) and was so pleased with the Aspen Suites Hotel. My room was beautiful (facing the mountains) and very spacious. It's conveniently located across the highway from a Safeway where I picked up breakfast the next morning. Special shout outs to Mary, Hailey and Jaren. The staff were wonderful to deal with - professional, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood.

OK I have been three weeks in Alaska from Anchorage north to Coldfoot then south to Wrangell Saint Elias, and now all the way south to HomerThey charge me $199 and the room has a kitchenette, living room and bedroomWith, wait for it.....The shower and toilet are in the roomNow that sounds a very weird thingHowever, in McCarthy, which is Wrangell Saint EliasI paid $315 and the shower and toilet were not in the roomIn Fairbanks I paid $250 for a similar roomIn Denali I paid $220 and it was in a motel room with a shower, the size of a refrigeratorChecked and really nice hotel is perfect

Second Aspen property in 10 days. Seems even newer than Sitka. Spotless clean. These are basic hotels but they deliver high quality. Front desk team was outstanding. Very can do style. No views, etc but the Spit is less than 10 minutes drive. I would definitely recommend over the smaller boutique style places in Homer. Price is much better for value.

While the Hotel was well appointed (per the website) and we ll kept, the best part of our stay was due to the friendly, courteous, and professional service of Hailey. She was clerk, concierge, local guide and a friendly face all rolled in one. Seriously, that young lady clearly understands what your clients want from their stay and goes out of her way to make us so with a smile.

The best hotel in Homer, without question. I travel to Homer regularly for work and I have stayed in every hotel in Homer. Aspen Suites is by far the nicest, most well kept and maintained hotel in Homer. It may not have the view that Lands End has, but it makes up for it in many other areas. The rooms are fantastic and the staff are helpful and friendly.
