Trailercraft destroyed my trailer hitch by slicing up my 4 pin and screwing on another plastic connection that doesn't work. The lights do not come on, it doesn't work. No quality work was done. I asked for a brake module and connection for my trailer and they only added a connection with no brake module lines at all. The connection they placed on my vehicle doesn't work, they destroyed what was previously there and now I have to take my car to a professional trailer shop or mechanic to get it fixed. I'm out $317 for something that I could have done for $15 with a part on Amazon if that's what I was after. Attached are pictures of the job they did and you can see the zip tie hanging out and the electrical tape just dangling there. thought this was step one of installation. Service manager was chauvinistic, rude, and a liar in person and by email.UPDATE: I took my car to another trailer shop to be inspected and repaired. They discovered that Trailercraft did not install the cheap part correctly, so they fixed it, and the charge was over $200. After this, the head manager of Trailercraft called and gave me a refund, making things right after several months. This is appreciated and I was shocked. They told me that service manager was no longer there. I hope he isn't in the customer service arena anymore because it's not his talent.

Recent warranty repair went well. The service manager made sure repair parts were in stock. Several update calls were received. Truck was repaired correctly and on time as estimated. Both the service manager and parts manager at the Fairbanks location are responsive to customer needs and concerns. Nice job guys. Thanks again!

I bought a dolly from anchorage and was commuting to fairbanks to pick up a car. on the way there, a big semi truck zoomed past me and blew my driverside fender with my lights off the dolly. And my passenger side fender brackets broke also left it hanging. So i took it off. I limped into town and went to trailer craft for help.I met with John and explained my situation to him. He was very professional. they did not have the right parts for the dolly but was able find a solution to help me get road legal so i can travel home safely. John even help searched for where i can get parts from westmarine to repair my dolly. thanks john for your help. I made it home safely back to anchorage!

I called to get a hitch on my Subaru Impreza and they were pretty fast about working with me to order the part. I spoke to a lady then a man named Richard, he was very professional and kind and told me he'd call me when my hitch came in and soon after they got it that they'd schedule an appt. To have it installed. I'm working on a short time here and I'm moving cross country, so I'm VERY grateful for their help !!

Updated review:It's been an experience to say the least. The first few years of owning Sprinter vans, I had some pretty terrible results from this shop. During one repair, their tech unplugged my battery heater from the main block for some unknown reason and left it that way without informing me, causing a frozen battery, and lost revenue for a missed operation and canceled tours. They never owned up to it and I was forced to replace the battery out of pocket. All in all, this cost me a few thousand dollars.More recently the experience has been a bit better. Their shop manager/service writer, actually has customer service skills and does his best. The experience has been slow (sometimes not at the fault of the shop but the parts shortages) but better. It's clear that the owners are indeed trying to make improvements to the service side.Currently however, I'm stuck with a constant beeper warning because I had the shop replace my sliding electric step with a solid step but the warning indicator was not deprogrammed. I've been dealing with it for months and still have no solution. I was told at the time of making the decision to replace it, that they knew how to deal with this and it would be taken care of. That was in September. I'm hopeful they can address this and will update this review once they do.All in all, while I love my Sprinter, I may consider something else in the future as getting it serviced has been a roller coaster ride at best.

Regrettably, my business with Trailercraft could not be fulfilled due to the nature of some damage to my enclosed trailer. My first impression of them was professional and courteous and that was upheld through the timely communication they provided as well as suggestions on where to go next with my problem. When all was said and done, they had my trailer for a few days, gave me consistent updates, and after spending this time before concluding they could not fix my problem, they pointed me to several good options and would not charge me since no repair was accomplished. When I went in to retrieve my trailer, I wanted to at least offer some kind of payment for the time they spent assessing the damage, or at the very least, taking up space in their lot for a few days. They insisted on not accepting any such payment. I'll be keeping them in consideration for any future work.

We had a trailer hitch and wiring installed here. It was a nightmare. Just a nightmare to deal with, poor communication, poor service, poor management (see overly-detailed description below). On my initial phone encounter they quoted me 500 for parts and labor, with parts arriving in 2-3 weeks. Took a little over 3 weeks. I dropped the car off at 8am for installation. Got a call saying it was done. They didn't do the wiring as I requested. So sent it back in. Got a call saying they don't have the part they need, will take a few days to get in and the cost will be 780 total. Frustrated, I called around but the part would take a couple weeks to get in at other places so I felt stuck since I had already waited the 3 weeks to get the hitch. The wiring piece took almost 2 weeks to get in, they blamed the shipper for sending it ground when they ordered it 2-day. Each time though I had to call them to get updated, they never initiated a call. They constantly told me things would be delayed. I asked if they could source the part in town. They found the part. I dropped the care off at 8am, went to pick it up at 5pm and they said it would take another hour and a half. They had to run electrical from the battery since the part sourced in town was incorrect. Had to haggle over price since they misquoted for price and time. Nothing went smoothly with this encounter. They are overpriced and unorganized. Will go to white spruce in the future.

They done an outstanding for me with both parts and service repair. They diagnosed and repaired our truck and back on the road in just a few hours. Pretty good in my book considering how hard it is to find parts and help these days.

More products on display where I can see them would be nice. Seeing a variety of products gives me ideas that I can't get sitting at a counter. Other than that they have good service in the line of parts they sell.

Great costumer service and response over the phone. No issues there. However, as my local Western Plow Reps, there hourly rates for a quotes were astronomical and they changed me 2 hrs of labor to assess the problem without even fixing the issue. I do not recommend them unless you have deep pockets..

Simple trailer Hitch installation on a Ford Flex. After they made an error ordering the part, they said it would take 2 hours to install.... after dropping it off at 8am... which morphed into it being completed after hours at seven pm Then come to find out it was wired backwards with the trailer turn signals switched. Another half day for them to fix. I would highly recommend another place.

I had bought a trailer brake controller from them a year ago. Recently, when the season started again, I found it was not functional right as we were going on a road trip. I brought it to them with no notice to see what could be done. Apparently it was not wired anymore due to the laziness of another place in town which worked on my car. They spent at least a half hour wiring the car. Thanks luke, you guys saved my camping trip

The manager is disrespectful and unprofessional towards customers and the staff. High turner over isn t a good look. I ve started dealing with Anchorage as the Fairbanks branch is such a head ache.

They said they would be done with my truck at a certain time and a day later they finished. Not without a wasted trip there after being told it was done and it wasn't. You get jerked around and pay full price for it. Will never go back.
