Little bit sketch in terms of pricing. I understand it's Alaska, stuff is more expensive up here. However, I shouldn't be paying 6x the cost of a part up here as down in the lower 48. Especially 6x the cost of a part in Washington or even California. Two stars because the owners are friendly, and they have a dog that's fun to play with in the junkyard lol. If you have the money, come here, just be aware you're being overcharged.

Fantastic place! The staff and owner are amazing. Great place to get parts for most types of vehicles. You can pull your own parts or pay and have them pull them for you, which is great.

They have pretty much any car part you need, you can even pull it off the old car yourself! If you do your own car work this place is a must. Everybody there is pretty nice to deal with so that's a plus

I got a part from a car and my car was a different year compared to there car and I ask them if it will fit my car and they looked at there comuter and said it will fit so I was like ok and I bought it and I tried putting it on my car and the sensor was different like that's not a good business.

Good place to get used parts. Fair prices very knowledgeable staff just don't expect to get them on the phone. You are better off going in person.

Just for all of you to know, if a tire is past its 6 year mark after it was made it has a high chance of falling apart on the road. They gave us a 185 75 R15 tire and the beaded lining was all Rodded away and the lining of it was bad too. Plus it was made 12 whole years ago! If me and my fiance would have put that on our car we could have been injured very badly if it would have fallen apart. Imagine if it would have fallen apart on a side road. Okay sure we can fix that a little bit of injures right? But imagine if me and him were on the highway with that tire. We could've been really injured or even at the worst could have died. I have a right to be angry and I will be asking for a refund. You should really teach your staff how to check tires for their customers. We were lucky the walmart auto center was open and we didn't try to put the tire on our selves. They saved up from a car wreck and helped us buy an actual brand new tire that wouldn't fall apart.

The best place to go to order replacement parts for your car, so much better than ordering online and not being sure it will fit. The staff is very helpful in ordering for you. At times they are busy but it's worth coming/calling back if the line is too long. I will definitely use them for any auto body repair.

Friendly and helpful staff. Respect them and they'll respect you. Will usually have what I need. On occasion I've been sent out on wild goose chases and come out empty handed, but overall great prices and easy to deal with. They have a return policy, which gives me added assurance.

Can not believe how the phone was answered, I had no idea who I was talking to or the fact that it was a business, I had to ask and confirm that I was speaking to MSI. Are you kidding me??? Like your a business, where is the proper phone etiquette.

They had what I needed for my car and even though I didn't pay for them to get it for me, the guy found me struggling to get it from the car and helped me do it and showed me how to go about putting it back into my own car. Every time I've needed something here it's been a good experience.

Not this was a diamond in the rough. I went looking for a back tail light the dealership wanted $212.00 for after military discount. I got it from MSI for 85.00. Went on a Saturday without an appointment picked it on Tuesday during my lunch. Explained to my hubby how I managed to miss the open garage door to hit the side of house. All wells that ends not in divorce or a night on the couch

I showed up when the said they would be open there doors where locked and no one answered the phone I stayed 20 past there open time and no one came I'm sorry to leave a bad review but this is poor business practice I came to pull my own part because I had time but now I will have to pay extra to have one of there employees pull there part and they changed the price of a part on me

The guys who work there are friendly and have a lot of knowledge. They can be willing to cut deals if you're not a tool and they are easy to work with. Only thing is, they are consistently busy so they might be a little difficult to get on the phone.

Just FYI: MSI auto parts is the worst parts people I've ever worked with. They cheated, sold me parts I didn't need ( I should have done my research, but I was in a rush and I gave them the pictures they asked for, the YMM, and the VIN, they should have been able to do the job correctly. Who sells a diesel part to someone who is getting parts for a gas engine?!) they cursed my father out when he asked to return on a returnable part and refused to return our core charge.Worst parts experience ever.*** four or so months later... the owner just called me to complain about my review. ~unprofessional~And told me that he was defending me when cursing my father out... I know my dad would never do that. EVER. He said he worked really hard to get the parts, great, you still ordered a part I didn't need and refused to return a core charge. And trying to turn me against my father is a sick ploy to try and get me to change my review.

I was very impressed with my visit. Everyone was professional but cool and down to earth making you feel good. Was able to answer any question asked, and able to give information where to go if need be. I would recommend MSI to anyone.

Horrible customer service. I called to see if they had a part for my 98 Subaru legacy Outback. They took down my information and said they'll call me back. I didn't hear from them. So waited for about 4 hours. I called back just to see what the issue was. And I was told there was a few people ahead of me and they'll call me back. It was said with a attitude. Now it's been two days since I called and still nothing back. I assume they do not want my business. Thank you I'll just continue to do business with interior auto salvage. At least they get back to me within 20 mins.

Absolutely love this place they always have what I need and if they don't they're more than happy to get it for me you can choose to pull your parts by yourself or you can have them pull it for you just takes a little bit longer the staff are very friendly always helpful knowledgeable good people family-run business I love going here I have been coming here for many many years and will keep going back

I really like this place. Laid back, staff is always helpful. They do ask you to remove the parts yourself, but they usually offer great rates when you do. Sometimes they might grab the part, but they are often very busy.

Ordered two parts for the rear of the car which were bumper parts. Despite specifying that it was all rear which they recognized they somehow sent me two front part bumper part while making me wait two weeks past the deadline.

Anyone who would give this place a good review is lying for company. There is nothing good about this place . They are a rip off and SCAM ARTISTS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They will cheat you ! They are Notorious for agreeing to buy your vehicle and then never sending the check. They rip people off all the time. They should not even be in business anymore.

Fantastic inventory for a small city. Good staff and management. Not fast, but they don't make a lot of mistakes and if they do make a mistake, they make it right. Good local used parts yard. Now open all winter.

Just went to MSI Auto Parts, it was the worst experience I have ever had in the automotive industry. I got my degree in automotive technology, I learned about customer service helping people and working together. I purchased some small cheap parts and they did not fit my fault. When I returned to talk and explain I need a different size the clerk first treated my stupid and ignorint. I simply asked if I can switch all the little parts for the one I actually need by ignorint I mean he replied first I don't know where they go if you trade them back. I said I'll put them back where I got them. He got mad then changed his answer to I just want to sell you more. I'll be the bigger man it's my mistake all on my shoulders. I will never retuen to the place. I thought this was the golden heart city. Not at MSI. The whole frasko was over $20. I work hard for my money won't spend it at MSI. People there are all about themselves and just want to line there pockets with money at any cost. Hope people read the review and it's helpful. God bless

I work for a dealership and we use MSI 99% of the time. Tires, Mount and balance, even allingments. They are fast and fun to work with. If you don't have an appointment that can usually get you in that day or the next.

This place is great for a quick part of piece of scrap metal for a project! Prices are unbeatable, and the owner is amazing and on a first name basis with the customers.

I have an old car that ford doesnt produce anymore. I'm able to find parts for it at MSI without breaking the bank. Good people and good service.
