Two stars because buying was a painless process (probably because they re receiving my money). The service department scheduled me an appointment 2 months out. I received a phone call 1 month out stating that they ll actually be closed that day and said they could fit me in at the same time two days later. I show up for my appointment and I m not even on the schedule, so I have to wait like a walk in. Why even bother scheduling an appointment if they can just schedule you on a day they re closed, reschedule you as a walk in a few days later?

I love the Toyota brand, and the sales experience has always been favorable, and I've felt well-cared for. Because of this, I've bought my last three vehicles for the household there. Once I've purchased a vehicle, the service department feels like I am working with a different company entirely, and is consistently poor in communication, coordination, or even demonstrating that they value me as a customer, in person or over the phone. I even end up having to take my vehicle elsewhere for basic maintenance sometimes, devaluing the prepaid service agreements I have with them. I know the bar for customer service is fairly low in the interior, but this one is just laying on the ground, and it's really disappointing.

DO NOT GO HERE. I put down $200 on a car that was coming into their lot soon. I went and looked at it, and while doing so, asked if my poor credit and down payment would be an issue in terms of financing. I was told I don t see any reason for it to be an issue . I even emailed them asking if I needed anything extra to cover any fees and was told my down payment would be plenty. I waited TWO AND A HALF WEEKS with ZERO CONTACT OR UPDATES just to be told once it was done getting fixed that I needed almost FIVE TIMES what I was putting into the down payment. I m not rich, so I obviously can t come up with that on the spot. So now I have wasted almost three weeks waiting on a car they NEVER planned on giving to me.

Again, the attention to detail is remarkable! I needed a water pump replaced. John Miller contacted me several times on things I should have thought of on the repair, that like a new thermostat, radiator cap, and a couple other things. I have a piston slap in the motor I did not know about and they gave me a simple solution that I can do on my own. These are things that make going here so comfortable and easy! Quality parts and service! I do most work on my car and I am impressed every time I pick up my car and lift the hood to see the the work. Very clean and accurate work. I can tell the mechanic is a pro. I finally have a place I can trust my car to. They also have a shuttle and rent a car. I would like to thank John Miller and that awesome mechanic they have.

Terrible getting in for a service appointment, even for a recall. The appointments are three weeks out and they take their time getting back to your warranty company about releasing the service to another shop. I like my rav4 but because this is the only Toyota dealership in Fairbanks, I will not be getting a Toyota for my next vehicle. Expect nothing from them. They are short staffed as nobody probably wants to work for them.

The service isn't all that great. It is really hard to get your vehicle in for an appointment. It has been this way for quite some time and shows no sign of improvement. If I could get recall and warranty work done somewhere else I would
