Interior Upholstery made a terrific custom upholstered daybed cushion for me in 2018. I naturally returned to this business in 2022 for a similar one. I showed the owner what he made before, and put down a deposit for half the estimated project cost. Unfortunately, he forgot to include the foam expense in the estimate, which combined with generally higher prices made the project unviable for us.After discussing ways to reduce project cost, including explicitly conveying through a phone conversation not to buy any materials (e.g., foam), I determined it was too expensive and asked for the deposit back. The owner claimed he had ordered the foam already and therefore the deposit would cover the material cost (he also wanted to charge for "cutting the foam"). He was evasive about returning the deposit, insisting he had already lost money on the foam and still had to cut it. He was difficult to contact, and we had to make multiple visits to his business.Ultimately, he offered a piece of dirty foam that he had glued together as "the piece he had ordered for us". When he offered this piece of foam, we again reiterated that this wasn't what we had agreed to but he insisted he had no money to refund. We decided to cut our losses (and aggravation) and left.If you visit this business, I hope you get the 2018 owner rather than his 2022 version, and don't give a penny in deposit before getting something in return...Caveat emptor

Warning! We had a horrible experience with interior upholstery! We took him an antique piece of furniture and ottoman, and he completely butchered it. He broke the wood frame on the Ottoman and lied about it, and said we brought it to him like that! He refused to give us any money back, the fabric grain didn t match, the zipper on the seat cushion was on the side when it should ve been hidden in the back of the cushion, and dried up hot glue was stuck all over the fabric. He is the absolute worst!!

Our double cushion reclining sofa with vinyl peeling was to be reupholstered w genuine leather. At first the project was exciting but quickly diminished. The owner/operator underestimated the amount of hides needed on a leather special order. Could not order like material to finish. The o/o missed multiple written deadlines that he set for completion. O/o refused to let me see progress. SEVEN months later I demanded to see sofa. Caught o/o in another lie that he ordered new leather. He did not. He became hostile and canceled agreement. He returned a once completed couch on a pallet in so many pieces (many missing) it was non-repairable. Am suing in Small Claims for loss and damages totaling $2300. I will update when suit is decided. Do not recommend.

David did a PHENOMENAL job on repairing the front swivel seats in my boat - great price, excellent workmanship, and immediate turn around. I could not be happier!I will definitely be recommending him to others! Thanks again David for the excellent service.

Tried to rip me off big time!!! So I called asking to have something sewn same day which obviously isn't a common thing to do but I needed it fixed that day. On the phone he said it's 50$ per hour and he said he'd do it for 100$ cash (about 30 minutes to 1h worth of work but since I was desperate I was happy to pay a premium). I take out 100 dollars and drive across town to show him what I needed and he offered to do it for 500$!!! I shouldn't have told him I had a flight to catch later that day. He also said that I couldn't stay at his shop while he's doing it because he had an appointment of some sort. Even if he wasn't interested in doing the job he could have told me but trying to take advantage of me like that just isn't right. Definitely wouldn't recommend going there.

Brought in an 84 chevy bench seat. Thing was completely shot to hell. The bench seat was blown out the side and I brought it to Dave and had it redone in Vinyl and couldn't believe it was my seat... Fattened up, perfect all around. Flawless! And so many compliments on it.. Pulled the truck together again. Very fair price for this quality of work!

Great workmanship. Fabricated a stage skirt. Fits like a glove. Highly recommended for custom work.
